My boyfriend has dreams I'm pregnant what does that me?
Question Posted Sunday April 24 2016, 11:52 am
So my boyfriend keeps having dreams about me being pregnant and not like first months. It's the full 9 months im giving birth and we are taking the baby to meet family after that. He Says it's a baby girl. We have been active these past couple of months but i have gotten my monthly cycle every month.
But out of both of us he's always the one talking about becoming a family and having a baby, he always saying we should tell his mom I'm pregnant just to see what she will say
I'm just curious on what it means
To answer your question, it my opinion your boyfriends sub conscientious is running away with him. It is are sub conscientious where our dreams come from. Just what it means is questionable. It could mean absolutely nothing or it could mean he wants to have a baby with you. Given the latter interpretation you need to make sure that besides using condoms, hopefully you are, that you are also on birth control. I'm not saying your boyfriend would intentionally get you pregnant by putting a pinhole in a condom though the possibility is there.
Hopefully you are over 14, if so you have the right and medical confidentiality to ask any doctor to prescribe birth control medication for you. Being you are sexually active I whole hardily recommend you do so if you are not on birth control medication.
If you are not using condoms or birth control medication you are playing Russian Roulette with a fully loaded Pistol. If you are using the pullout method or the rhythm of birth control these two methods have the greatest pregnancy statistics. With the pull out method there is enough semen in in the pre cum to make you pregnant. The male has no control over the precum as it is emitted during intercourse even if he emits some during foreplay.
You can get birth control because of a law passed by congress called HIPPA. Within this law is a section covering young people 14 years of age and older. It gives them medical confidentiality over the reproductive systems. Meaning you can see any doctor for any reason be it a question or a problem that is related to your reproductive system without parental knowledge or permission. Congress did this not to permute sex in teenagers but to protect teenagers who may be to embarrassed to go to a parent with a problem relating to their reproductive system. Because of this a female may request birth control medication and the doctor must prescribe.
Anyone 14 years of age and older just has to say the words I invoke my rights under HIPPA and any exam which includes the examination of your reproduction system is protected by confidentiality. Mom can not be in the room with you and cannot know of the results of the exam or any treatment without your written consent to the doctor.

Which may be fine, if you are also keen on having a baby with him. But he also needs to check himself a bit, because lying to his mother is a crazy, and even a bit cruel, sort of idea.
He needs to behave respectfully and have real conversations with you about the future. He can't just blame 'the dreams' for his behaviors.
Dreams are just a reflection of ideas that have a hold on us. If you really want a child, you and your boyfriend should talk about that reality—not his dreams. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
