what if my pussy is too small?

Question Posted Wednesday October 7 2015, 6:52 pm

I'm 22 and never did it before. I just started dating this guy and we really want to have sex, but there's one thing I'm worried about.

What if he literally can't fit inside me? I have a super narrow pussy........ the opening is less than an inch in diameter. His cock is big! 6 inches in circumference. And how bad does it hurt to have your hymen broken?

Your vagina is elastic in how it works. While resting, if you use a mirror to look, you won't see much of an opening but it will stretch to accomodate. A good example is a piece of elastic like that used in underwear. A piece only 3,4 inches long if pulled on can stretch to 8,9 inches or maybe more. Also the length of a resting vagina is pretty short, think of tampon length. However, when a female has been aroused, the uterus pulls away and upward in you creating more space length wise as well.

About the only problem there can be with the hymen is if instead of a smaler circle of skin around the circumferance of your vagina, your hymen is a strip going down the middle of the entrance to vagina causing 2 much smaller openings and for some reason, in this form, called a 'Septate Hyman", it does stretch or tear as easily as the other and from what I've heard, can be painful. If you suspect that is what your issue is, meaning a tampon or just a finger is hard to get in, then you'll want to schedule to see your Dr to have it checked out because it is a simple thing they can take care of, numbing the local area and snipping away the extra strip.
Once it is out of the way, you can become accustomed to stretching out for a great range of sizes.

Who told you that your boyfriend's penis is six inches wide? If your boyfriend's penis is actually 6 inches in CIRCUMFERENCE, then he has a very unusual body. The average circumference -that is the average thickness- of an erect penis is less than 2 inches. It's possible for a man to be that large, but it seems unlikely to me that that is the case.

A penis that is six inches long, while erect, is probably going to be around 2 inches wide. That would be just slightly above average for penis size.

The most important thing here is that you are comfortable and safe. Your boyfriend needs to agree to pause, slow down, or stop entirely if you are in pain and don't want to continue. You should make sure you to any contraception you need - like condoms - ready to go, and plenty of safe lube. It's a lack of lubrication that most often causes women pain.

Everyone's body is different, so there is no way to 100% know how much pain or discomfort you'll experience. For most women, the pain manageable and passes quickly. Some women don't really experience any pain at all. If you do experience pain, then you should either slow down, take a break, or stop entirely and try again another time.

It's unlikely that you'll be 'too small'. If the pain persists and you can't have sex comfortably at all, than it's time to speak to a doctor. If that sort of thing happens, it can be addressed and you can find ways to please one another than aren't painful, but more likely than not you'll be just fine.

Your vagina has three primary purposes.

1. The fertilization of an egg through intercourse with a male. When not aroused the size of a vagina is: Length 3 1/2 to 4 inches
Diameter 1 Inch; when Aroused Length ("tented) 5 to 6 inches Diameter 1 1/2 to 2 inches. More than sufficient to accept the average size penis when properly stimulated and lubricate.

For the first time having sex it is suggested you use lubrication such as K-Y Jelly for two reasons. The fear of sex and the pain associated with first time sex will most likely not allow you to lubricate enough.

2. Delivering a baby into the world. The vagina is made to spread to deliver a baby. The vagina will also spread to accept a penis with little or no pain provided the male is a considerate lover and takes his time entering you until you are accustomed him and can relax enough to accept him.

3. The bodily function of urinating.

These are the primary functions of the human sexual organs to procreate and to urinate. For the female sex should be pleasurable and not painful. Once her Hyman is broken, which can happen without ever having sex, and she experience sex a few time. The pain associated with sex should diminish completely. If it does not then she should schedule an appointment with her GYN.

In short you may think you have a super narrow vagina. Most likely once you have experienced sex a few times your vagina will be of average size once the muscle become accustomed to stretching to accept a penis. Right now the only thing they may be comfortable accepting is a Tampon and someone's fingers.

I'm sure the first time you tried to use a Tampon it was not as easy as it is today. The same will be true of sex and having a penis enter you. It will get easier each time. Just try to relax and enjoy the experience. You only lose your virginity once and if your boyfriend is a considerate lover he will make this a pleasurable experience for you.

well first things first, it WILL be a bit uncomfortable. Thats just how it is the first time, and theres not much you can do about it, but no it shouldnt HURT really bad if he fingers you first and uses lots of lube, and goes in and out SLOWLY until the skin can stretch and get used to it.

Youll be fine, just GET LUBE. and a simple lubed condom is NOT going to be enough. NOT for your first time and just trust me on that cause that was a mistake i made MY first time. buy a SEPERATE thing of lube. they sell them everywhere and no one is going to look at you odd because your buying it. (((i know alot of people have that fear)))

youll be fine.
good luck
