For sometime Ive been getting mad over tiny things. Like, someone will say something a little insesnitive without thinking and I get upset for hours. Even when they apologise I can't just, like, let it go. Then I get angry over the slightest thing.
How can I control my temper and stop myself from getting blue over everything? Its started to cause BIG problems with my friends and family.

If it is not a medical problem, your best bet is a counselor. Are you going through any physical or emotional changes in your life? There are many things that can cause stress and you need to find out or at least rule out some possibilities. I don't know your age, but that could also shed some light on your situation. Some people bottle things up for years, sometimes something very painful and it affects a lot of areas. Hang in there and let me know if I can be more helpful. sometimes.
& I'm seeing a counsular about it,
dont let the little things bother you.
You need to let them go,
or they could bug you for the rest of your life.
You sound like me, a deep person, who is very passionate about people, and what not,
and the little things people say really piss you off if you dont really agree with it.
Just let it go, everyone has an free opinion they are allowed to voice, you know?>
We need to respect that. :] [ DefinedEyes's advice column | Ask DefinedEyes A Question ]

a)listen to music that describes what you're mad about
b)work out
c)take a jog around your neighborhood, or walk on a treadmill
d)lay down and think
e)call a friend and describe what you're upset about, ask them for thier opinion.
f)don't hold grudges. Forgive them, and try to forget. [ mystical_breeze's advice column | Ask mystical_breeze A Question ]
Nadia answered Monday August 7 2006, 2:11 am: i agree with who ever said something about trying to be polite about saying something etc. i went through a stage like this and the only problem with trying your best to hold it in is that u can end up feeling even worse because you're holding that anger in.
so my advice is, whilst being polite etc make sure you have a way to relive your self from the anger. it's up to you how you do it. give me a shout though if you would like some ideas, i tried a lot of things until i found one that really really worked for me. lilteacup answered Sunday August 6 2006, 9:45 pm: If not for the sake of your friends and your family, try to remain calm for your health. It's unhealthy to be mad all the time. All I can advise is, take things in stride. If someone says something that bothers you slightly, just try to let it go. I'm not saying to be a push over about it, but let it go. If you do feel the need to say something, do so politely (i.e. I disagree with you because...). Just don't explode on them. You can learn to control it.
