Question Posted Tuesday August 1 2006, 6:41 pm

how do you get rid of adware.qoolaid w/o downloading any other programs? I have Norton Antivirus which did show the Qoolaid thing but I heard even that doesn't pick up on everything.

i agree, adaware is great. just run it weekly, or maybe monthly depending on how much you use your computer. ours gets used daily so we do it weekly.
heres the site, i don't know if you can download it or not because we were given it but check it out anyways: www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

If you're getting rid of spyware you're better off getting a program that does it for you. I've used adaware before and would recommend it. Spybot, search and destroy's supposed to be good too.
