I am very pale because I am almost 100% french. In france it is beautiful to be pale but in the U.S.A it seems as though pale is not as beautiful. I would really like to be able to wear skirts and not be afraid that everyone is thinking my legs are ugly and that im to pale.
What can I do to make my legs look not so bad in skirts?

Wear tights that are darker than your skin color.
I would NOT advise you get a tan.... of ANY type!!!!!

Awww, pale is beautiful. I think that people that are pale have a porcelain doll kind of look to them, which is just amazing. I would actually suggest just wearing a skirt one day and seeing what happens. See if anybody says anything. It can't hurt. You know you're pale. If that goes badly you have a few choices. Tanning is the obvious suggestion here, but it's not that good for you, it costs money, and it takes a lot of dedication to get started. Plus, fake tans look, well, fake. Tanning lotion is extremely difficult to put on right. It's a funny color most of the time, it streaks, and you'll likely end up looking really silly. Wearing stockings or panty hose I'm thinking is the best choice for you. You don't have to go with the skin colored ones. White or black look very good as do other colors depending on your outfit. The sock idea is a good one too. You'll have a schoolgirl kind of look going, which is adorable. Try not to feel so self conscious about being pale. There are more people out there than you think that find it attractive. Good luck!

you can either go to a tanning bed or i have this lotation that makes your legs tanner but not like dye your skin like that orange stuff.. its called Natural Glow, daily moiturizer. it worsk really good =]

Well you could try sun tanning for a short period of time everday, but since its winter hey try some nylons? or maybe some tall socks that go up to the bottom of your knee, the chinese girl in kill bill made it look cool :-d
