Okay, I am only 13, 5`1, and I way 133 pounds! Everyone thinks I look normal and I look about 100 pounds. Anyways, i want to lose my stomach fat, how would running for 1/4 a mile everyday day and 4+ minutes of situps get me in 3 weeks?
barthez4 answered Friday August 20 2004, 9:23 am: 1/4 of a mile is not that much, i'd say that to see good results, at least a mile a day. this can be done just by running 1/2 a mile and then back to your house. also you shouldn't do situps by time, you have to do it by amount of situps. for someone 13, i'd suggest about 125-150 situps a day. it might seem hard but if you break it down it is pretty easy. just do 5 sets of 25 situps, with like 2 minutes between each set. the reason you don't go by time is that you will have uneven workouts depending on how fast or slow your situps are. also, be sure to get your love handles by doing side crunches where you lay on your side with your knees bent and do a crunch. you should do regular situps one day, then side situps the next (making sure to get both left and right evenly). take one day of rest each week (sunday is a good day because it is easy to remember).
