Thanks for the advice for my question "Major crush on this girl" , I now feel much more confident with myself. I livestreamed today, she joined, and I didn't turn the camera the other way this time. I think I turned a little red but nothing too major, however once again things were going fine until she joined then I got a little tongue tied and ended up repeating myself over and over again. How can I stop getting tongue-tied when this girl joins?

How do I deal with coworkers talking crap bout me everyday in spanish?

I'm 24 and these ladies at work keep talking crap about me behind my back/when they think I’m not listening. These ladies are around my age and talk about me in Spanish. They also make racial comments like calling me a mayate. I understand every word. I want to avoid confrontation since I don't want to work in a hostile environment. All that would do is make them more hostile toward me and they’re really popular. I really doubt they would get fired since they've been there for years. I've only been there for 1. I should also mention that I don't do anything wrong. I’m nice, but quiet and will help with work if anyone asks. I work very hard and don't talk to them. I embarrassed myself in front of my crush today.

Now, there's this girl I've had a crush on for the past year and a half or so , and we're kind of casual friends but I was planning on asking her out. However, today, I did something that I think completely ruined my chances. I farted, in class. This may not sound like a major issue, however my farts are known for having a very strong odor. I tried my best holding it in, but it was a very big fart coming, and it just came out without me even attempting for it to come out. I'm so sick of everything. Of the miserable cycle that life is. What's even the point of life? I mean, I'm not gonna kill myself but everything just seems pointless and we're all gonna die someday anyways so why not now and just skip all the terrible parts?
I take it back, maybe I am gonna kill myself. Maybe. My life really isn't THAT bad, but it's pointless and empty and I am completely useless. So my question is, what's the best way to kill yourself? Just in case i need it in the future.

Am I a shitty friend for having feelings for one of my best friends childhood friends? I am a 17yr old female and most of my friends are guys (I just dont get along with girls). One of my best friends is a 17yr boy named alex. Alex used to have a big big crush on me for almost an entire year. Nursing or Occupational therapy assistant

I have my bachelors degree and got it to eventually get a masters in my dream job of Occupational therapy. I didnt get accepted twice to the top school and the other schools are too far so i might do the occupational therapy assistant program because its closer then to get my masters in occupational therapy after the assistant program its required to work for a year then I can do 2 years online to get my masters in occupational therapy. The only thing is occupational therapy assistants make 45,000-54,000. I may not get the chance to get my masters after the assistant program. I dont know if I can afford to make a living for myself and 2 children on my own as an occupational therapy assistant, when I do decide to have children, I will not r...

I think I made the wrong decision over a misunderstanding?

I started a new job on Wednesday that was 45 minutes away from where I live. My first day went great, I got along super well with all my coworkers and my boss. At the end of the day my boss asked me to come in after my last class on Friday (today) which of course I agreed, then he said 9:15am and I nodded. I thought he was confirming with me what time I had come in that morning because I came in at 9:15 and couldn't clock in yet so they had to fix it.

Hello, thaks for your help. Ive made pros and cons lists for years about which program in college to stick with and when to have a baby. Ive always wanted to do the masters of Occupational therapy but got denied twice at a top school nearby. I have a good chance of getting accepted to a college thats 1 hour and 20 minutes away but it is monday through thursday 8 to 530. I want to have a baby asap because I am 27 and have lived together with my boyfriend for 6 years. Ive been putting off children for school because I have bipolar disoprder that spirals into mania if i dont take my medication and get too stressed and i cant handle a program with those hours and a child. What do I do if my boss gives me low hours every week and sending me home?

I’ve been working at this restaurant for a few weeks. The assistant managers have been complaining about me to the manager (I’ve overheard their convo’s complaining). The manager told me i was doing a good job, but the assistant managers haven’t liked me from the beginning, now the manager is acting funny. They were complaining because I asked questions about my tasks during training the week. Isn’t that what training is for? To learn? I do all of my tasks and when they when I was done, I asked if they needed anything else done. I restock the food, clean the area, etc without asking. Should I take a semester off of college to work and save up money?

I'm a junior in college and after working an at-home make your own hours kind of job for two years, I'm being laid in a week. Luckily, I start a new job in a Verizon store on Tuesday. It's supposed to be full time and it's the only job I could find that had the potential for extra money from sales. Everything else I found was part time and minimum wage.
I'm thinking about taking a semester off to get settled into my new job and to save up money. The reason being that right now a relative pays my rent, but I think he wants to stop in December/March and I don't want to ask him for more money, because he's already loaned me a lot so I could continue going to college. I also can't live on campus.

How do i handle managers that complains/gossips about me to my co-workers?

Everyone is knew to this restaurant that opened two weeks ago. The managers already have their favorites. I’ve overheard a couple of the co-managers talking about me to people that I work with on the sandwich line. They stood in a group yesterday, only a few feet away from me talking crap. One of my coworkers were like “You don’t like her?! Lol!.” The boss was complaining that i do such and such wrong and that I’m quiet. I made a few mistakes during the training week, but i learned from them. They were mad cause i kept asking questions about my tasks and everyone else caught on quickly. I work on the sandwich line at a restaurant. Today the sandwich line was already full with workers and i had nothing to do. I wiped down the work stations and did some tasks that were assigned to the prep team, such as dishes and cutting up ingredients. New job and co workers seem to hate it!

I've been in my job for nearly 3 months and my co-workers all moan everyday about management and how much they can't be bothered. At first I thought it was a blip but every single day when I walk in there's someone saying something about why they hate working at the company or are peeved about something.
As a new employee I'm finding it hard to be enthusiastic about the role when in such a negative environment. What should I do? They also send lots of group emails about the managers and I can't join in because I feel it's not right that a new employee slags off people who I don't know!

I'm in a long distance relationship, we are both in different universities far from eachother. Over the summer break,we bonded so well, we were close and I fell in love over again.Then he left for school, and I'm still at home.The problem here is that anytime we get back to school, we fight over everything like he blames me about not chatting up with him and checking up on him, meanwhile he knows I'm always busy and I do once I get the chance. jr college financial aid

I am having trouble getting my financial aid disbursed. I've spoken to financial aid 5 times and they never call me back. The F.A.office looks in the system and they tell me my aid is approved but for some reason its not released. Is there anyone I can call myself since F.A. doesn't know whats going.

I am 26 years old and recently got offered a job for 45k. Not a bad starting salary for someone without a degree. I know this sounds ridiculous but I love November and December time of year, and I would be starting this position on November 27th (Cyber Monday). There is no other training on any other dates. I'm so used to having this time to go christmas shopping/black friday etc.) I know sounds childish but it is important to me. I do have savings to get me by until March. My heart is not set with this career path but it is the highest salary I have been offered. I am a new teacher at this school/district. I am a third grade teacher.I am known to be a nice teacher. Students know me, they think I'm kind, they think I look young, etc. I can be mean if I need to be, just not to the extent some teachers are.
I try to run a positive atmosphere in my classroom. I am all about respect and anti-bullying. The good thing is, that it's working. Even though I have a chatty class, I have students who get along with EVERYONE. If anyone bullies anyone or says something that is disrespectful to someone else, they apologize to that particular person or write an apology letter.

Hello. I'm 26 years old and I am have a bachelor's in education and currently finishing a degree in higher education. For those who don't know what that is, it is basically a degree that prepares you to work with college students, in areas such as: housing, academic advising, career counseling, student leadership, internships, etc. I always wanted to become an academic advisor and my ultimate dream is to become the Title 9 Coordinator for the institution that I work for.
