There’s this boy who does things to catch my attention like shutting my computer everyday in our classes and whatnot, and while I am not bothering or annoyed by it my classmates who have witnessed it seem to think it bothers me. When other people started to notice the pattern of him doing that it was only 1 or 2 people, today it was the whole class who saw it and started to conversate about it. They made comments to him and in general teasing him and accusing him of having a crush on me which I don’t quite believe. Boss is being harsh

I'm 27/f. I feel like my boss is nit-picking at everything I do. I started working at a store about a month ago, and this is not my first job in retail. I worked in another store for about 5 years, and then I took some time off when I had a baby. Then right after that the pandemic hit, and I wasn't able to return to my old job. It took a while to find a new job, and I'm grateful that I did. But I noticed that my boss is especially hard on me because he said I have a lot of experience. For example, some of the other workers still don't know where some of the products are even though they've been working there for years, but yet he yelled at me just after one week because I couldn't find something. my coworker just bluntly hit on me in a company email.....and gave me his phone number and asked me to call or text him when i have a minute.....he has a son, i dont have kids.....he's not with the mom so he says....and he just recently overcame stomach cancer..
now that's bold as hell to do that and let the company know u are fraternizing on the job

I’m a brand new freshman in Hs and corona has stopped us from being in person. So we are on zoom all day. In my art class there’s a Junior. His name is Prince and he’s extremely cute. But I can’t talk to him because I have no idea how to look him up on social media or chat with him while on zoom without everyone seeing my business. Homecoming is coming up and I want to go with him though I don’t know how to ask when we aren’t in person nor have met face to face. I’m really stuck. And I know a little bit about him. Okay so I’m 17 and I’ve already taken the SAT and got 990. So right after I took the test I went to go stay with my father in a different state. Right when I left it was spring break so I was shocked when I found out that my school had shut down and I had to take class online. I didn’t really mind it though. Well my mother has been hassling next to take the SAT again but I’ve told her that Florida wasn’t doing it. My dad he’s a right wing guy so he understands why they aren’t giving it out but my mom called me every day to make sure that I was checking. I didn’t think anything of it because I call my friends all the time and I had not thought of this guy as anything more than that. Let’s call him Cody. Holiday Cheer at Work

Hi. I am a physician working in a relatively small department. There are 3 physicians, about 30 therapists, and about 10 administrative assistants. We usually have a holiday party but the union that the therapists are in will be going on strike the week we were going to have it. That choice is out of their hands but it has really dampened everyone's spirits. No one wants to do anything to celebrate the holidays now. Instead, we will have a party in January. That is nice but I still wish there was something I could do to help brighten the mood around here. Do you have any ideas? I would be willing to spend $100. I just want to spread some cheer and improve morale.

I'm sorry this is long!!! Me (F16) and my guy best friend (M16) became really close on a tournament we went on as a team and we ended up cuddling on the couch, however, he had a girlfriend. He then hit me up later and we started talking, my intentions were to be just friends but I ended up falling for him. He told me he would break up with his girlfriend but I found out later that he didn't. His girlfriend was pregnant without anyone knowing and they had a kid together. Now they live together with his Mum and she doesn't know about it and I feel terrible about myself because everyone especially girls when they hear about it, judge me hard and act disgusted with me even though I thought I was doing nothing wrong

Retaking my A levels and I have no motivation

Hi,
I am 18 and from the UK. I have decided to take a gap year so I could retake my A level exams. I always have worked well when I have competition (a challenge) and I sort of get this adrenaline rush. My mind and focus will always be on trying to do better than that person. For my GCSE exams, that was the strategy I used and I did really well but for my A levels, the person I studied competitively moved schools and I had no motivation at all. This person was actually a good friend of mine but she did not know I used her in a way to motivate myself. For sixth form, when we do our A level exams, she moved schools. Um, so, I'm 15 and currently in the first year of highschool. I always checked online about university scholarship so I can just apply for it and stuff like that. But then I stuck on a website that hands over a scholarship, but it's not for university instead it's a scholarship for highschool. So if I apply for that scholarship, and everything goes well, I'll repeat my first year in a compeletely new school, but it's free tuition. There's some reasons why I feel some doubts in applying. First, I'll be away from my parents cause it's like in a different state and I know they wouldn't let me apply easily cause I get sick often and my parents can be a little overprotective somehow. I am a 15-year-old in school. I am currently thinking about colleges, and I realized that I'm quite average, with average grades, minimal volunteering, and almost no leadership work. I can't do leadership in school, because leadership roles are chosen by the teachers and they usually pick students with good grades and don't want to give others with poor or average grades a chance. I suggested it several times to the teachers to pick a wider range of students, but none of them would budge. I want to get into a better college, since my parents both went to good schools, have had the same expectations for me. However, at this rate, the best school I'll be going to is a community college.
