This might make me sound very childish and immature. That reasoning is why I am posting this question online, where I can be anonymous. As you can tell, I have a very over-analytical and I over think things all the time.
I have a friend who I know from college. We became friendly while working on a group project together, and we both graduated in May.
Last semester, we were both really busy and none of the same classes together, so we very seldom had a chance to talk to each other.

I have a male friend I have known for the past 16 years of my life and I tell him everything and I love him but not in a romantic way but whenever we meet up for lunch or coffee I always start feeling a little nervous around him and five minutes or so after meeting him that goes away. He and I have tried dating a few times in the past but I felt like it would be better if we stayed friends as I just wasn't feeling it but I still have the nervous feeling when I see himy and feel like I need to put a little extra effort in to looking good for him or subtly flirting with him when I feel sure I don't like him in that way.

I'm 14 years old, and I got my first phone when I was 12. I had secretly been going on a chatroom every night on my phone without my mom knowing. On there, I met a man who was 22 at the time and we chatted a bit- nothing sexual or romantic- but then we started talking every single night and we'd talk until the wee hours of the morning. writing letters

So my 4 best friends and I are going off to university this week. Tomorrow night we are getting together and giving each other letters.
I need to write a letter for each of my best friends with like memories and what I like about them and stuff.
I have no idea how to go about doing this. I am really not very good with words (but I can't draw either so that's not a viable alternative). Like I can form sentences but I just don't know what to say. My brain doesn't like to mix words and emotions...

Best friend drifting apart

So I had this best friend and this year we have been in a different class. I am from Australia so here the school year starts at the beginning of the year. Meaning we have been in a different class since the beginning of the year.
We are in the same friend group, and we are all close friends but her and I (I'll call her Emma), were closer than we were with the others. She was my best friend and I was hers.

I'm a 7th grade girl, and I am absolutely terrible at social interaction. What I believe to be setting me apart from others is my intelligence. Although I may sound extraordinarily arrogant in saying so, I am much, much smarter than most. I have a genius IQ, and aced the English TCAP in 5th grade and the math TCAP last year (scoring at 99% or 98% in all other classes). I had a final grade of 100% on my report card in science, and I was selected for numerous intellectual contests (not all of which I participated in).

So she got this new boyfriend - her first may I add - and never stopped talking about him for the first week. 3 days after he asked her out, he was referred to as her boyfriend even though they hadn't been on a date or kissed yet.

This is more of a rant than a question, basically I've had the worst summer ever I didn't do anything at all except stay home and do the same things every single damn day. I ended up getting cabin fever because even when I did go out it was always with family and we would always go to the same place (the freaking mall that's by my house, which we go to whether it's summer time or not) ever since high school ended I've learned who my real friends really were, none of the friends that I talked to throughout high school ever tried to reach out to me this summer, it was always me texting them first to the point where if I don't text them I won't hear from them at all. Hey, so I have a group of friends, I consider them my best friends, there are 8 people and we sit together at recess at school and organise things outside of school.
The problem is that I feel like they're not like me. Recently there have been so many arguments over such small things that personally I would just let go.
They avoid confrontation and when they have a problem with someone else in the group some of them just b**** about them.
I appreciate that I have them but I just don't feel like I have a proper friend like a best friend.

So I have this friend and she seems to be trying to out-be me if that makes sense. I'll explain:

I have a friend I've known for years, recently he came to me saying he had depression. I've been helping him through it but now he's saying he has anxiety - I have anxiety so I've caught him out in a few lies about anxiety because I know a hell of a lot about it myself. Some of the things he says doesn't add up, and he comes to me all the time saying ''I'm going to kill myself on this day'' and I know people with an actual intention of committing suicide don't tell people. Im 24 F and my best friend is 21 F. We've been friends for about two years and things were great. I also have a past of depression. Im also on Zoloft. Birthday present for ex-friend?

Hi, I'm 14 and I'm female. So basically I had a group of 4 friends and we all planed to go to a concert together. It was my friend's birthday and because she couldn't afford a ticket for herself I paid for hers as her present (£33). It was hard to save up the money to pay for hers and my ticket considering I'm young and don't have a job. Nevertheless I managed to do it.
