I am 19 years old. I am in college. I am a junior. I started working parttime at a after school program. I start that Dec. 1. The last time I had my period was Nov. 21 or the day before Thanksgiving 2007. I was raped by my friends cousin on Dec 8. He did use a condom. His cousin talked to him afterward and she said he said the condom didnt break or anything because the next day i started worrying about pregnancy. Plus he was my first so I was sore and i had bleeding but enough like a paper cut. Anyway, I didnt get my period yet. But when i start to work like I just did... my period usually come late. it did that twice this year already that my period was weeks late when i started working. I quit and it goes back to being regular. So can I be pregnant? (link)

if your really worried you should take a pregnancy test.
but sweetie honestly i would tell your parents that you were raped.
more than 90% of rapists walk free today because girls are afraid to tell an adult.
i wouldn't want him wakling free and possibly raping another girl.
Tell someone. And take a pregnancy test. I would keep an eye on it if i were you.

I'm jewish and I ask this question every goddamned day. being anti-semetic has been around since christ has. It began with the crusades (i believe). They killed the Jews to get back Jerusalem, the holy land, where christ was. After that came the bubonic plague. Once again, blamed on the Jews. So now the palestines and the jews are fighting over Jerusalem again. It goes all the way back through history.

can you start to show signs of pregnancy 20 days after you have sex.. because i had unprotected sex with my ex and we recently broke up and the day after i had my period and it was 1 1/2 weeks early.. and lately ive been feeling really diffrent like i noticed one of my boobs looks diffrent from the other and ive been having to pee a lo.. ive been getting really bad headachs usually early in the morning and late at night and the other night i was looking on google for pregnancy symptoms and it said one of them was "having a feeling your pregnant" and i have that feeling but i cant buy a pregancy test.. i live in a real small town and i know people that work at our local pharmacy and they would tell my parents and im only 15..i really want to tell my ex that im scared and im affraid he will think that im just saying that to make him stay with me witch isnt true.. im just really scared.. should i tell him? what should i say? who should i tell? im not close to my mom at all..just help? get a close cousin or someone to buy u a pregnancy test .. or haf a trusted friend drive you to a different pharmacy where you can buy one and check .. i dont know what else to tell you

About a bit over a month ago, me and my friends met lots of new people. They're really great but I'm so shy around them, and find it hard to approach them. One of my best mates has the same problem, but another one is absolutely fine and is really confident with them. One of the girls has starting joking about how quiet me and my friend are, but it's just that I'm shy, I don't want to be known as 'the quiet girl'.
How can I overcome my shyness? Are there any things like visualisations or anything like that that can help you get over it? Or anything else?

I have recently read the book, Lord of the Kill. In it, it stated that zoo's are not all good and nice as they may seem. Have you ever wondered, as you stared into the cages of the baby animals, "well, where are the older ones?" I bet you haven't. If you go to this website and read the first three paragraphs http://animalliberationfront.com/Practical/Entertainment/OldZooAnimals.htm , that will explain where those old animals went to. I'm telling you this because I want the public to be informed about it. Also, I've been thinking about trying to start a sanctuary for the old animals, so they dont get dumped into hunting yards or anything. What do you guys think? (link)

Alright, my mom says that I shouldn't be an actress because she doesn't want to see me waiting tables when I get older. But I love acting, it's what I do, I mean my nickname is basically Drama Queen. But now I don't like much attention, yet I still want to be an actress, that or do something with animals. Everyone says that I'm a great actress, and I'm waiting for for the play I always wanted to do, Romeo and Juliet. Ever since I was like 5, I wanted to do this play. But I think I should just end my acting career now. Who am I kidding, show buisness wants an actress to be beautiful and skinny, which im neither. What do you think I should do? Should I end my acting career?

if you really want to do acting, then go for it. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SKINNY. Ever see queen latifa? shes amazing. If you wana go for a career in acting make sure of one important thing ::: BE COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF. Get yourself noticed for your courage and poise, but dont be snobby and inconfident. And you can work with animals, too. If your not acting at the moment, you could work part time somewhere that involves animals.

f/13 okay, i wanna try out for the cheerleading squad next year. it's not so much of a problem since i have a background on dance and gymnastics anyways. but most of the people in the squad are POPULAR. and i happen to be NOT. i know it's not much, but they ask for a group routine when you try out. i'd probably have my own routine, but not a group, since my friends don't want to be cheerleaders. how am i gonna fit in?

trust me. I felt the same way. I'm a freshmen and only knew once person on the team. And guess what? she was new to the entire school. They're so nice. they're your squad. I know I sound like a "peppy stereo-typed cheerleader" here but seriously:: squad = trust. if you cant trust them you cant be on the team. If you work hard and learn your cheers and routines quickly, maybe that will help out. go to the other girls and ask for help with stuff. it will be fine.

if he loves you, he'll understand. my best friend was in that situation. He told his girlfriend that he loved her and she said "i'm not sure if i love you back." and he said "sweetie, i love you. that doesn't mean taht you have to love me back. as long as your still with me i'm happy."

Everytime I look really "nice/good/pretty/stylish/glamorous" my friends always spot something on me. Like a little bit of smudged eye liner, or peanut-butter breath, messy hair, lipgloss not on the lips, or make-up prob. Its just so annoying. I hate it. I wish they would just compliment me. but they always find something. So I try to look good but then they always are so mean. I always feel bad after they told me that and embarassed. Its like they never have something to say nice to me. what should i do about this? (link)

You should confront your friends. If they laugh because you're confronting them, then either a)do the same thing back or b) find new friends. If you know that you look good, no one elses opinion should matter.
