There was this old movie from like the 30s or 40s I'm guessing that was about this ship that dead people would go to while they were waiting to go to either heaven or hell. And there were two people on the ship that committed suicide so they couldn't pass on. And the whole time people have to accept that they're dead, but they can't or something.

I am 19 and my parents dont really allow me to do much. I feel like a child. My friends all make fun of me for being under such close watch and not being allowed to go places and do things like most 19 or 18 year old do, because i always have to ask my parents and hope that they will permit me to do something... I have no freedom. I've fairly recently gotten in trouble for trying to go out, because I said so, and I was like... its time to stop being controlled by my parents and get out and have some fun.
I had to deceive my parents so that i could do what i wanted to do. I couldn even leave the house without my mom looking out the door to see who was picking me up and to see if they were there yet...etc.... I didnt know my mom was going to follow me to the door, so that foiled my plan. I was going to walk up the road, but my mom was like "no, tell your friend to come pull up infront of the door". And then she saw that it was a male friend and not the female friend i told her it was. I got in a lot of trouble and got yelled at and lectured.. Now my parents say they dont trust me and i cant go anywhere or do anyyything. My friends say "you're 19, you can do what you want....etc."..
I want to know if it would be f***ed up or not if I were to just slip out the house and move one day and not tell my parents anything until I get there. I want to live with a certain guy, but, i mean, when i am ready to move in with him and when i'm sure thats what i want to do. And I will call my parents from my new residence, or better yet text them and be like "umm.... yeah.... i moved..."
They dont even want me meeting with this guy. They dont want me to meet with no guy or do anything. And I am so tired of my parents! I need to get away from them! I'm not going to even bother with introducing them to the guy, because they wont want me with him cuz he's 22 and i told my mom a little bit about him and she's like "you dont need to be with him. you dont need to be with anybody. You need to focus on school and focus on gettin yourself together first (work on myself in terms of anxiety problems etc.)" They just want to keep me as their boyfriend-less child for as long as they possibly can.
And I dont want to bother with telling them i plan on moving out. So do you think it would be messed up if i just moved out, and in with this guy, and just told them about it after the fact? Just so they know what happened to me.. and that way they cant do anything about it (link)

WOW. thats all i can say. What you described in your question is exactly what happend with my sister. All i can say is that if you move out without telling them, it will be THE MOST selfish thing you could ever do in your entire life. I usually never draw on my own personal experiences to answer a question, but since this incident has changed my life in such a drastic way i will. I come from a very traditional family. However, that being said, my parents were NOT backward people. they let us go out and everything just so long as we were responsible as in calling in to tell them were okay, and letting them know exactly where we were. And getting good grades. You cant just expect your parents to let you go out with any random guy or any guy if you dont show them your responsible of your life. Your parents are NOT your enemies. I mean, think about it, if they hated you then they wouldnt go through all those fights with their daughter just to make sure your miserable, they love you and care for you and want you to do the best you can in life. are you honestly gonna leave your parents for some guy! thats insane. so anyways, my sister ran away. i dont think anyone will ever fully understand the reprecussions of such an incident unless they lived through it themselves. it was HORRIBLE. my parents were DEVASTED. like in an unbelievable amount of pain. can you imagine raising a child with so much love, and patience, and protecting them from everything only to have that child walk away from you for a GUY. my parents even considered suicide. and trust me, if you have siblings, please please please dont underestimate the amount of psychological damage that they will have to undergo if you run away. just sneaking out and leaving doesnt mean thats it, theyll move on since they know your gone. its nothing like the movies, im telling you. it was the worst experience of my life. i missed out on a lot of things over that one selfish act my sister did. and now even though my parents still talk to her and are willing to do whatever she wants, its not the same. I myself hate her for everything shes done. i dont even consider her a sister. Your 19, you still have your whole life ahead of you. try talking to your parents like honestly sitting down and talking to them. if that doesnt work, talk to someone older like a relative that can talk some sense into your parents. think about all the stuff theyve done to you. believe me, its not worth it. what if things dont work out with that guy? family will ALWAYS be there for you. i know it seems brutal not being able to go out, but you have many many years ahead of you. let me know if you want any more help from me. i hope things work out for you, i really do. please dont put them through that.

I get really into movies. When I'm watching a movie I'm oblivious to anything else that goes on. But movies always make me sad afterwards, even if there's a happy ending. It's like, for a couple of days, I just can't stop thinking about the movie and I always feel kinda down. Even if I'm not thinking about the movie it's in the back of my mind and the feeling takes a few days to fade away. What do I do? (link)

I am a huge movie watcher. I like any type of genre. In my opinion, i think we are alot alike in the way that we use movies as a form of escapism. Meaning, you use movies as an outlet from your reality and enjoy getting lost in another world and someone else's life. For some people it might be books that help them but for you, it seems to be movies. I am not sure if you have problems in your every day life which is why you get so involved in the movie experience. As for being unhappy afterwards, i think that is because you seem to think that the life you saw in the movies or the world that was portrayed is more appealing then your reality and your sad that the movies over because you cant see what happens nexet. Believe me, i sometimes feel that way too. However, if you take a step back and try to see your life or your world from another perspective, it will seem just as interesting. :) Also, try picking up a good book to keep yourself busy. Its okay to get lost in fiction, as long as you dont lose sight of reality. i truly hope i helped.

ohhhhh really? well then i guess thats why. Yes i do live in Canada, and i never knew that you needed a prescription in the states. Thats weird. Well, i just sat here searching on how to buy drysol in the US for about half an hour, and it seems that they have taken it off the market. Why dont you go to the doctor and get a prescription, because if you know you need it, you should be able to get it prescribed to you. Or, you can buy in online and get it shipped internationally which may cost alot. I usually buy the dab on bottle for $20.00. You can also ask someone you know when they plan to come to Canada. Im sorry I cant be much help to you, really. Let me know if you need anything else. In the meantime, I will keep looking for a way for you to get drysol in the states, and reply back to you.

i went to wallmart to find drysol dab-on but when i asked the pharmacist she said that i needed a prescription for it even though i was told that i didn't need a prescritpion to get drysol dab-on.
i also tried purchasing it on the internet and it said it ordered it but it never delivered it for some reason...

woah! thats weird? i get my drysol from walmart too and i never need a prescription. maybe you should go check again at walmart and ask another sales person because she might have had her facts wrong. by the way, drysol is a miracle!i have hyperhydrosis and it works wonders to treat it. You can get drysol over the counter at the pharmacy at walmart. If this doesnt work, email me in my inbox and ill be more than happy to help you find another way to get it. :)

i would say make some time for each other and just talk things out. communication is key in a good solid relationship. work out your problems by telling each other why your stressed and take turns listening and being respectful. dont let the situation turn into a fight. if you both honestly care for each other, set some time aside and figure out what you want to do next. compromise on issues. it will work out. goodluck :)

i have excessive sweating issues on my hands feet lower back hamstrings armpits and face(nose and above my lip) and it happens even in a cold room or even when im completely comfortable and not even nervous at all... does anyone else have this problem?? i went to the doctor and tried a lot of types of medicine and methods to stop the sweating but nothing worked... is there anything i can do to cover up the sweating or stop it somehow??? its really embarrassing and people can see the sweat on my hands and face because its almost enough to drip... thanks!! HEY. omg dont worry! i totally know what your going through. Its called hyper hydrosis. And let me tell you how embarassing sweat stains are! i used to be so upset. but then, i heard of this dab on liquid called DRYSOL. IM TELL YOU, ITS A MIRACLE! like i know i sound like an infomercial, but honest to God it works! you can get it over the counter at walmart. and yes, i sweat in cold places too. but let me know how it goes, or just msg me in my inbox if you need anything. aw sweetie, just like the people below me said, dont worry! puberty can start as late as 17..18. i was a late bloomer too! it happens. your time will come and you will be beautiful and you will love and appreciate yourself more :). And as for the girls making fun of you, i would say that you are much more mature than they are, regardless of them hitting puberty before you. its very immature and you shouldnt take it to heart. theyll realize in time. just enjoy life right now and the beginning of your teen years, and have the time of your life. have fun, let me know if you need anything else answered.

I actually have cysts on my ovaries. alot of them actually, on both sides. and yes everytime i have sex i get that same exact type of pain that you describe. i am not on birth control but i use a condom everytime, so i know its not because im pregnant. since you are well protected when having sex, it might be a cyst. when you have a cyst, sex can be painful both during and after. birth control is supposed to help them, but im not taking any and i have a lot of cysts. my doctor told me there are too many side effects with it. what i would suggest to you, is first take a pregnancy test, just to confirm. then if you get a negative result, go to the doctor to get an ultrasound to see if you have ovarian cysts. are you sure you arent about to get your period? that could also be a factor. If you get your period and it hurts more than usual, then i really think it could be. well let me know if you need any more info. i hope you get better.

This might be new to some of you...but i have Palmer hydrosis and i have looked it up on Google and the only cure i have found is a surgery called ETS is there any anti-persperant (sp?) medication i can try in a reasonable price like a Walgreens, Wal-Mart, or CVS. I have already talked to my doctor about and she said she thinks that i am nervous a lot and thats wat cause it but thats not it because its like under my arms and my feet also...im not afraid to express myself and they sweat any way...like it affects my daily life where i cant even give my friends high 5's please any help is appreciated GREATLY!! OMG !! i have the same thing. isnt it just the worst thing everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr? i couldnt even raise my arms because i would sweat SO much. but one thing saved my life and i will forever be grateful for it. its called DRYSOL. it works MAGIC. i swear to god. i know i sound like an informercial trying to sell you something, but its amazing. i got it at walmart but you have to ask over the counter for it. they dont keep it on the shelves. its AMAZING. please please please try it, it WILL change your life. i recommend it 100% =) OH and its only $20.00. pretty reasonable eh?
