I want to start telling people that I'm Bi but everytime I've told someone I can't seem to think of a better way to say it than just to say, really bluntly-'I'm Bi'.
Can anyone thing of a more subtle way of telling people? (link)

I'm not sure there's any need to announce this to the world. I mean, I'm not saying you should hide your bisexuality, but think of it this way: have you ever heard of anyone going around informing people that they're straight?
Just be yourself. If anyone asks, tell them. Otherwise, let them figure it out on their own ^_^

hey I have a question. What is the diference between a christain or a cathloc? I always thought that they were the same in general. but sence being on this site I have noticed people say they are in fact diferent.
and one more thing can somebody tell me what a pagan is? not to be rude or anything. i know that that is a religion but do magic or something.
so answering my question would really be helpful.

There are three main branches of Christianity: Roman Catholicism (aka Catholicism), Eastern Orthodoxy, and Protestantism.
A Christian is someone who believes that Jesus Christ was the son of God, and died and then was raised from the dead by God to redeem humanity from its sins.
All three branches adhere to certain interpretations of the Bible and Christianity. Protestantism is actually broken into dozens of different sub-factions, all of which have slightly different opinions and ideas about what Christianity is supposed to be.
So asking the difference between a Christian and a Catholic is like asking the difference between a fruit and an apple ^_^

What is the definition to the word varible?
(link)
|
The adjective "variable" just means "changeable."
In science, we call the factors in experiments "variables" (a noun). For example, if your experiment is to drop balls of different sizes and see how long it takes them to fall, the size of the ball is a variable, because you change it. The height from which you drop the ball is also a variable. Even if you drop them all from the same height, it's still a variable because you *could* have changed it.
In math, we call the undefined quantities in equations "variables" (also a noun). For example, in the equation y=2x, 'y' and 'x' are variables, because their values can change. The '2' is called a "constant", which just means "something that doesn't change."

Does .9 infinitely repeating equal 1? At first glance, one might say, "Of course not!", but hear me out. I asked my genius math teacher the same question, and he though about it, then wrote a long equation apparently proving that they were the same number. I have since then forgotten the equation, therefore, forgotten how he arrived at his conclusion. A fellow classmate said he would argue to the death that they were not, but his opinion changed upon reading the teacher's equation. My way of thinking it is this: If 3 x 1/3=1, and 1/3= .3 infinitely repeating, then .3 infinitely repeating should equal 1. But if do the multiplication, each individual 3 would become a 9, so the answer is also .9 infinitely repeating. So 1/3 x 3= 1= .3 infinitely repeating x 3= .9 infinitely repeating. So 1= .9 infinitely repeating. But to say that two different numbers, excluding fractions, etc, can equal the samething doesn't seem right. So, are they or are they not equal? (link)

Yes, if you have .99999 infinitely repeating, it is equal to 1. (In fractions you could say that it's 9/9. 1/9 = .11111 infinitely repeating, 3/9 or 1/3 = .33333 infinitely repeating, and so on.)
That's the thing about infinity: it does wacky things to numbers ^_^

i think is is totally gross and disgusting to be a gay guy or a lesbian is it wrong to think that i dont think it is (link)
|
Oh, please.
Yes, you are allowed to have your own opinion. (I mean, a friend of mine likes French fries with mayonnaise, and "totally gross and disgusting" is pretty much how I would describe it.)
But this kind of opinion is a bad one to hold. I mean, if you think a different sexual preference is "totally gross and disgusting," why not think that about a different race, or different ethnicity, or different religion? If I'm a Jew and I think Christianity is "totally gross and disgusting", is that wrong?
My advice: Rethink your opinion.

So, er, why exactly does it bother you that she likes horses so much?
I mean, most of us have obsessions - I have a friend who's obsessed with Stephen King, another who has a bit of a hobbit fetish, and another who just thinks the idea of "chaos" is the coolest thing since sliced bread. Sometimes these things get annoying, but it's not like they're hurting anyone, so what's wrong with it?
As for the kid she likes who hates her: again, why do you feel like you need to get involved? If she's a friend of yours, you could gently break the news to her, but if she's just a "girl in school", it has nothing to do with you ^_^

im fat how can i loose weight...REALLY QUICK! i mean come on..its summer! help me out here! (link)
|
There's no "instant weight loss" method. You just have to eat right and exercise. Specifically: eat more vegetables and less candy/ice cream/junk food, and go for a half-hour walk at least every other day. Since it's summer, you might want to try swimming laps, and be careful not to overindulge on cold treats ^_^ (Oh, and, it's "lose" weight, not "loose" weight. Loose is the opposite of tight.)

female/15 ok this guy that i have been going out with for almost a year really wants to have sex, so do i though. I just am not quite sure if i should be having sex yet...what do you think? i really want to and i love him SOOOOO much! yes or no (link)
|
No, don't.
When I was about your age I had been going out with a guy for almost a year, and he made it clear that he wouldn't've minded, but I decided not to go that far and eventually we broke up and I'm really thankful that I made the choice I did ^_^
