Q: okay well what does standby mode do?
i really love how it "turns off" my laptop
and i press the power button and it asks
me to login again with ALL my windows
still open! so, does it take up less energy
than if i just shut it down? thanks in adv.

Standby mode is putting your computer to sleep. It's good to put your computer to sleep once in a while, instead of turning it off all the time. It also doesn't take up any energy. You can wake it up by hitting any button on they key board or moving the mouse. It will keep all your windows you had open up, and it will ask you to sign in again incase another user is trying to get onto another account.

Yup! Thats basically all it does. Standby mode is actually good for your compluter =]

Q: alright, well, in my spanish class we just got done watching the 1949 movie, Neptune's Daughter with Ricardo Montalban, it was really good. well,in one of the scenes, they played the orignal 'baby its cold outside', and it was AWESOME, well, i want to know how/where to find a link, for that scene? I checked under neptunes daughter on Youtube, I googled the title, and it said i was spelling it right, i cant find it!!
can somebody please help me! Its a scene between 'Betty, and jack scrat' then the main character (cant remember her name) and Ricardo Montalban thank you guys so much!!

There are 2 sites similar to youtube. One is called Gofish.com, the other is called Singingfish.com. You might find something there. If you are looking for just the song, you probably would find it on youtube if you searched 'Baby it's Cold Outside'. You'll probably find the scene from the movie under that!

Q: Well I've been sort've depressed for a long period and evrytime i'm sad I sing a happy song or listen to it but lately it hasn't been working, later i'd feel sad again.

I've been having nightmares everyday for the past two weeks but I didn't watch any sad or scary movies and i'm not sad about a certain thing at all, i'm just sad.

Like one time I had a dream of me being a cannibal, then the other day I had a dream of babies being fluished down the toilet, they're just terrible!

and for the past 2 days I couldn't fall asleep. I'm not like other people who tries not to fall asleep so they don't have nightmares, I was trying to fallasleep but just hoping I don't have nightmares but I couldn't fall asleep and I was trying to.

please help me..

This happens to lots of people. They go through stages of depression. Something is clouding your thougts, and you aren't quite sure. I would go to an adult you trust and talk the problem out. Or you could go to a really good friend whom you trust. You will feel so much better after discussing it out with someone.

Also, about the sleeping problems... I went through somethnig similar. Are you eating right before you go to bed? If so, try to eat something VERY little. Eating right before bed can cause you to have nightmares or just strange dreams.

When you go to bed, what do you think about? Try to think happy thoughts, or listen to some very relaxing music. When you think constantly about thoughts that might get you mad, sad, worried, or excited, its harder to fall asleep. Try to calm yourself down before bed. Sometimes having a nice warm cup of hot chocolate will do the trick! =]

Q: Well In my School There are TWO popular Groups.. I am In one of them.. Barley though.. I am not even that popular i dont even know how i managed that. I mean its not like anyone pays attention to me in that group anyways but sometimes they do.. You can basically say that im the least popular in that group.
Well In the other Popular Group Those Girls are like SOOOOOO PRETTY its not even funny I wanna be just like them.. I wouldnt say i am the ugliest out there and i dont think i really am that ugly but they are drop dead they can get any guy they want. ALL The Popular Cute boys are ALWAYS Hugging them and Talking to them and saying how hot they are.. Well i wanna be treated like that too.

So Does anyone have any advice how to be more prettier? Hair styles.. Make up ideas? or like outift ideas. Or like ANyway people would notice me more or like .. LIKE ME!!??
ANYTHING.. I just wanna be just like them.

Honestly, I think you shouldn't care what people think about you. You should be happy the way you are. I guarentee you are very pretty already. You shouldn't change your looks just to fit in! Thats a complete waste of time.
Boys who think they're cute and popular are usually jerks. I wouldn't go crazy over them. A true guy would like you the way you are, not caring how you look.
I think you should be yourself. Trust me, you'll make so many good friends! It works all the time. Let people see the real you, and if they don't like it, then they aren't your true friends. Don't think you aren't good enough, because I think you are! =]
