I'm going to be a camp counselor this summer, and at the camp I go to, each cabin can invite a counselor to come to their cabin right before bed and tell a story or sing a song or read poetry, anything that will get them to go to sleep. Well, I'm a good singer, I'm in the 2 advanced choirs at my school, but I don't know what kinds of songs I should sing to them. The problem is that the age range is from 9-18, so I have a difficult audience. I'd like to tell stories as well, but I don't have any very interesting stories that I can think of and I've tried searching on google, but it's really hard to choose the right story. So, if you were at camp, what kind of story would you like to hear? A funny one, a personal story, a traditional story (like a Native American folk tale or an African one..)? If you know any good places to find stories, that would help too! (link)

I think that if you ask them to request songs and if you dont know them then you can ask them to teach it you then it will keep them interested , also if you try looking up on the internet for stories that would be a good idea

its really that your brother wants to spend time with you because he looks up to you so if you dont have any time to play with him in his games why dont you let him do some of the things your doing with him sorry this may sound really bias to your brother its just i have never had that experience because my younger brother is 8 but is disabled and can not walk or talk and doesnt really like playing with anyone else all im saying is it is good that he loves you, i wish my brother was able to play with me

Ok first make sure that everything is away from him and if he really lashes out this may sound weird but you may have to basically site on him and hold his arms tight not too tight though ok sit on him is the wrong word ok put his legs in between yours but dont put too much pressure on his legs but enough to hold him down and then your arms are free to hold his arm down

Im thirteen and I have babysat my younger sister and some kids down the street once, also my cousin who is four but i dont see her much. Anyways, I have given out flyers and stuff about a hundred times and noone will respond and noone will let me babysit. It s not like im a bad sitter or anything because ive only babysat those kids down the street and they had alot of fun and nothing went wrong. I dont get allowance and I cant get a job for a couple more years. I petsit but very rarely, and I dont have any money at all except for whats in the bank and Im saving that for college. Does anyone have ideas for jobs I could do or ways I can advertise my babysitting more?

One simple answer its because you are not quite old enough yet you have to be 14 maybe 15 in some places its not that they think you cant be trusted but if something should happen the police would blame them for leaving you with the kids. Try again when you are older

If the kid is a boy and likes a kind of sport or game you could ask him to teach you how to play the game (even if you already know ) make him feel important. If its a girl do what you do like watch a girly film or do each others hair etc just act like they are normal to you and give them lots of attention, talk to them normally dont worry it will be fine!

in school the other day me and a head of the guidance office. Got into a argument over if i was cutting A period. I told her i was in the school but didn't sign in right away because i didn't want to go to the detention room (T1).i told her i was at school in the cafe room. she keep telling me im lying to tell her the true. i started to yell and told her i know where the hell i was at. she kept saying in know what i saw but she had here times mixed up and when i told her about it she corrected here self. now at home i lost my computer right. my mom say i have to tell her im sorry for the way i acted but i feel that i didn't it in my own self defence. But this is not the only time she tryed to get me to lye or tell here were i was at. (link)

I think that you should only say sorry if you are feeling guilty or upset about what you did and maybe if she said sorry and meant it you could say to her i accept your apology.

Ok i am in the same situation i started using tampons yesterday!! It was fine the first time but then today it really hurt so i tried a different position i did have one leg up and was standing but i find now it is MUCH more easier to insert it when i am sitting on the floor and legs open remember if it wont go in easily it doesnt go there wriggle it about a bit to find the opening do not force it! and make sure that if you want to change it it has been at least 4 hours or it will hurt, unless u r leaking then you may need to try a higher absorbancy but try first time with smallest u can find hope this helps!
