Before I joined this site, I owned the advice column in my school newspaper. My friends thought my advice was good, so they found this site for me as a way to help others outside of my school. I, if I do say so myself, am pretty nice, pretty, and popular. I have tons of friends, and I have not once gone to a dance without a date. I love to help people. I'm on the cheerleading squad, and I've acted in a couple of school productions. So, if you have a question, I have an answer!

Tomorrow in gym, we will be doing the mile run/walk. I was just wondering if anyone could give me good advice on getting a good time, or not getting really tired, how not to get that pain in my side, and maybe how to breathe or something. Thanks! (link)
Okay, so here's what you need to do. PACE YOURSELF
If you start out running and think, oh yeah, I'm ahead of everyone!, you won't be to happy for long. You will have wasted your energy, and everyone will pass you and the race will be over by the time you restore your energy. Bacically jog/run. Also, drink tons of water. But, drink it in moderation. Too much water at one time can leave you feeling nausues. Drink a few sips EVERY minute. If you don't get enough water, you'll go even slower and you will feel horrible afterhand. Trust me, been there done that. Remember,

over the weekend i was working and i had coffee with a lot of sugar and a large soda within an hour. then i ate some candy and some ice cream. suddenly i got really light headed and naucious and started to shake uncontrollably. i was like this for an hour and then i was ok, still a little light headed. then an hour later i started shaking again and i finally fell asleep. today i woke up and i was fine but an hour later i started getting naucious again. all i ate for lunch was water and sunchips. i couldn't even smell anything sugary without getting sick. what's wrong with me because i hate being like this. it happens everytime i have a lot of sugar. Talk to your docter about your condition. Untill then, I would advise you to stay away from sugar. Fruits, vegetables, and grains are good foods to focus on for now.


I need advice! I think my boyfriend is cheating on me! He has been very secretive lately, and flirtatous. I asked my friend what I should do, but she is no help. I am miserable! I tried coonfronting him about the subject, but he made up something about his mom needing him to do a chore or something and needing to get off the phone. I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to not trust him! Tell me what to do! (link)
I think that you need to talk to him in person, at the right time, when he can give you your undivided attention. If he really is cheating on you, then you have to make sure he knows that you know. But be sensitive, because you don't actually know that he is. But if he wants to be with another girl, then he should be the one talking about it, instead of you. Tell him your suspisions, and see what he says. If you are still unhappy with your realationship, then it might not be worth all the pain and suffering.
