Hey I am a 14 year old in middle school, and i need to know when to ask a girl out. She is very uptight about school and does not seem that out going. I really like her and i am tring to observe some signs that she like me. any ideas?

Talk to her like you would talk to any friend. Gradually, become good friends with her, and try to pick up signals if she likes you or not. If you can't pick up any signals, say that you admire her. But don't just come right and say I LOVE YOU!!!! It's a tricky game and it takes a LOT of time. But become friends with her before you make your move. Things will be a lot easier that way.

I want to start telling people that I'm Bi but everytime I've told someone I can't seem to think of a better way to say it than just to say, really bluntly-'I'm Bi'.
Can anyone thing of a more subtle way of telling people? (link)

You don't need to necessarily tell people at all if you're uncomfortable about it...they'll find out through the grapevine eventually because that's what people do - talk about each other. But if you want to tell close friends I'd just tell them. If they're really your friends they'll respect you for being so honest and like who for who you are. Also make sure to quash any of their pre-conceived notions and stereotypes and answer anything they may ask you.

Well first of all...everyone of my friends are having sex now and im only in the 8th grade...i'll b in high school in a couple months and everybody will be trying to get me to have sex??...should i just try it ..like everybody else..or just tell them that im waiting for a special guy?...but the point is ..is that if im goin out with a guy i might think he is the right guy and go for it but i know we wont last long..will sumone pleez talk to me? It's good that you're having these reservations. Shows you have at least some common sense. Truth is, most of your classmates are probably lying. You see, from the ages of 13 to like 15 or 16 everyone tries to be better than everyone at EVERYTHING. Just because it seems like "everyone is doing" something doesn't mean everyone really is. It's very unlikely that EVERYONE you know has had sex and you're just in 8th grade. I'm a senior in High School and most of my friends haven't, even though some of them say they have.
Wait a few years. And don't do it until you find a guy you trust 100% and someone you're in love with. I mean a special connection. That may not be until college...it may not be until you're married...just wait. These things take time and the worst thing you can do is rush it.

No. But you can get STDs so it's still a good idea to use protection.

Im not sure what to do? My best friend moved away and her dad doesnt let her come in contact with people who dont live near her anymore. We were so close we hung out and did everything all the time. And now that she cant contact me or i cant contact her, we've fallen apart. I've made a new best friend (of 2 years) and we're slowly fallin apart b/c we dont talk much, and she likes the same guy that i like, but i dont mind, what do i do, im afraid, i dont want to hurt my new best friend (2 years).. how do i talk to her anymore? As far as the long-distance friendship goes, if you REALLY want to make it work there are ways around parents. Get her phone number and if her dad picks up say it's a friend from school or something. I don't know why he'd be so uptight.
And the new friend, find out what's coming between you two. If it's the guy, don't let that happen. There are plenty of other guys out there but not many good friends that you can keep for two years. If you guys aren't talking suddenly it's because something's come in between you. Find out what it is and then decide if it's worth it to get whatever's blocking you out of the way.
