okk...im 14, and weight 132 lbs...and my calve muscles are so annoying,,,they are 14 inches....is there anyway that i can slim them down...i've been running for a month now and that has not been effective at all...
is there any exercises recomended to reduce inches on calves?? (link)

Im 12 and I way 114 lbs. and it sucks a lot. I can't where half my clothes because of it. I tried exercise, eatng better, dieting, and just not eating at all; nothing works :(

My semi formal is coming up on December 10th and I am going with my boyfriend of nine months. We just got a dress on the weekend, its black, strapless and more cute than sexy. The problem is, this is one of my first real meetings with some of his friends and I want him to be more or less proud of how his girlfriend looks.
I have naturally wavy hair, which I usually just keep straight. I was originally thinking about curling my hair but it turns out he hates curly hair. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I can do my hair without curling it?
(I dont want to put it all up because it may fall out by the end of the night)

Use clips or maybe just add a bit more wave to your hair using the curling iron quickly and lightly. You can get tips online or just go to the beauty salon and ask for tips, they'll give you some for free if you tell them what its for. Avoid straightning as its sort of bland unless you do a cute styleor use clips and accessories. Im only in middle school so the only advice I can give you for an actual hairstyle is straighten the top layer (all hair has three layers) and pull it back then add some more waves to your hair thats down and I think that it will look very cute, intellingent, and be a great way to make a good impression with hair.

So I'm pretty much in tears right now. When you here it, it'll probably sound retareded but if you were actually "there" it would have felt horrible. Friday, I was suppose to meet my 2 best friends at the mall. I told one of them they had to be there by 6, my parents had plans. So i got there at 6:30, and they were both still at there house, so my parents were like were not leaving you there, were goin to drop you off at the game. So they ended up callin and i was like sorry my parents made me go to the game. The next day, i went to my friends house and i was going to invite one of the friends from the other night but she was like "oh i don't wanna go with her" So i texted her and was like whats ur problem? my parents said i couldnt go blah blah blah. Then she just started cursing at me, saying how i am nobody and how my mom "buys me love" and all this stuff that eventually made me just break down crying. Then on Monday the other girl who wasnt involved but also was one of my "best friends" from that night just texted me saying i have no right to tell this girl stuff i said (which i don't know what was bad) and how i was nothing and needed a reality check. My mom eventually saw all of this and texted them both back saying to please stop. Then the girls mom got involved and called my mom, where my mom started to yell at her because she already had problems before (we took the girl on a trip, and her parents pretty much didn't even thank them and yelled at them after) so now im stuck. I just lost my 2 best friends, my moms pissed, and I'm just alone. Help? (link)

I have to write a paper about The Lovely Bones. I have to use direct quotes to pick one plot line. Because in many books there are more then one. There is thousands of side plots but one main plot. Anyway, i know its a weird assignment. However, I want the climax to be how Susie played a part in Mr. Harvey's death you know with the icicle thing. I need to use direct quotes none of my own words, but I need to find some parts in the story that help lead up to his death.

I may only be in middle school but my cousin loaned me that book and it was really good. I think the icicle fell on Mr. Harvy as he was trying to get another girl at the bus stop like he got Susie and so it was kind of a prevention type of thing. The way he didnt care what he did and pretended to be mad was a big character traight. Im not sure how to answer the question since its been about a year since I read the book, so all I can give you is to find the middle, beginnig and end, take notes about each one, and go from there. i'm a junior in highschool. recently i switched from homeschooling to public schooling, and in order for my transcript to pass through to my new school, i have to take some tests to prove that i've been doing the schoolwork in homeschool. well i already finished the algebra I test, and i still have to take physical science and world history. history has always been my worst subject, i can't ever remember getting any higher than a C in that class. plus, it doesnt interest me in the least bit. and physical science isn't as bad, but i still hate the class with every fiber of my being.
i need to pass the tests in those 3 subjects or i'll have to go to summer school. i have the study guides, but we can't find the answers to any of the history questions. i can't find any of them on google or anywhere. and the tests are both scheduled for the next two weeks. plus, i have to take gateways in a week.
and on top of all this shit, i'm failing every one of my classes. history and spanish are the worst. my history teacher packs so much stuff for us to do. i have three projects, 75 definitions, and a 4 page study guide due tuesday, a 5 page report in english due monday, and then i have to retake two or three tests in spanish and have two worksheets due.
i'm not used to being under pressure, and i'm really not good at it. i feel like i'm about to have a nervous breakdown. since i'm so stressed all the time, i've started popping and rashing out at my family and friends and i've become very depressed. and it really doesn't help that my sisters come home with A+ report cards and i'm honestly doing the best i can but i'm still getting B's, C's, and D's. and those added together only make for low C's.
does anyone have any advice for me? i really need to help. thanks in advance.

Im in middle school and i took a class called study skills. I know it sounds stupid but it taught me how to give a speech in front of people without being nervous, how to really follow directions, how to take tests, how to study for tests and how to just plain study. These are the 12 steps to success:
1. Set up a study time and follow it; everynight same place, same time
2. Study weeks in advance; dont cram the night before the test
3. Dont overwelm yourself; doing to much work will cause you to forget information and have a meltdown
4. Take small 10 minute breaks every 30 minutes
5. Review, Review, Review; dont try to remember all the crap you study
6. Find out when you study best; in the morning, afternoon, or night?
7. Have your materials ready and be energized; have a snack and everything with you so you dont have to waste time looking
8. Study an hour a night; dont study for 2 or 3 hours at a time, it will cause you to forget
9. Stay organized; have folders, files, and a pencil holder
10. TURN OFF THE MUSIC AND T.V; work in a quiet space like at a desk, table, or library where you can sit up straight, never get comfortable on your bed or in a beanbag chair, it will make you sleepy
11. Have lots of light; dim lighting makes it hard to stay awake and see
12. CONSINTRATE; stay focused on what your doing and dont get distracted

there is this girl in my class who i kinda like.
but the thing is she has this boyfriend who shes been with for about 2 years. The thing is, her boyfriend in in college and she always talks about how seperate their lives are. And another thing is, i know shes now happy with him. She is actually scared of him because he has a really bad tempter and sometimes abuses her, but for some reason, she sticks with him.....
And i think she kinda likes me too.. and i just wanted her to know that she could have way better than him, because she KNOWS that she isnt happy, she just says that because shes afraid that her boyfriend might smack her if she said she liked ME, which i think she does.

If he abuses her and she likes you, than yeah she's afraid of getting hurt. She's in an abusive relationship and she needs your help. Tell someone(not a friend), like a parent or school Counsler for help. If she says she is happy its better to be safe than sorry. Get help for her now before its too late and someone gets seriously hurt or possibly dies. Its always better to be safe than sorry with something like this. Your her only way out. Never think that if you dont help her someone else will, because thats what everyone else is thinking. Get help IMMEDIATLY.

So i'm not going to lie, i always get attention around guys, i'm use to it and love it. I'm an outgoing girl, i just love to have fun and don't care what people think about me. My best friend, she is okay looking, but every guy always tells me how i'm hotter than her and nobody really thinks she is pretty. I do feel bad for her, but obviously i don't tell her they say that. Well anyways, there was this cute guy that she was interested in and i didn't think anything was going to happen with it because she is a really shy girl, she's never kissed a guy before or anything and never had a boyfriend and this guy is the exact opposite. Well we ended up hanging out with him last night and he was giving her all the attention and texting her all night. I get it, me and my cousin were trying to hook them up. I was jealous though, that was the FIRST time ever that i wasn't getting the attention and i hated it. I was soooo bored. And when my friend texts him, she always asks me what to say so its basically like me talking to him? DUMB. But it's like my friend is rubbing it in my face that he thinks she is cute because she is always like "OMG he said this, he said i was cute .. blaaa." Now i'm not trying to sound selfish, like a bad friend or anything but i'm not use to this. And i don't do that to her at all, i don't say "haha yeah all guys think i'm hot" obviously i'm not like that to her that would be just annoying. But what am i suppose to do? I'm getting pretty annoyed of this situation, she is always talking about him and now we're all hanging out again tonight .. great. I know i sound like a self centered person but i'm just use to getting so much attention because i'm an outgoing girl and i guess guys think i'm hot, that when a guy doesn't pay attention to me and pays attention to my friend .. i get jealous. I hate to say it but that is very selfish. Im sure not every guy out there thinks your hot and you should be happy for your friend. You need to learn that just because you think your pretty and are so into attention doesnt mean your all that. Im sure your friend is jealous when you get all the attention and now your upset that you feel that way. Dont do anything drastic like break them up because of your self-centered mind cant deal with a guy not liking you. I cant wait till you get out into the real world where you wont get whatever you want and you sure as heck wont get smothered in attention. Get a life and feel happy for your friend.

There's this kid that i currently like and he used to like me when we first met but then he kinda said he liked me alot as a friend (after a while). He kissed me one time and then after that i think that gave him confidence to go for girls way out of his league.I like him for who he is ,not what he looks like because he's not the best looking.My so called "best friend" became friends with him and talks to him alll the time (i introduced them to eachother) yet he ended up liking her because she continues to talk to him all the time even thought she doesnt like him! she just likes him as a friend.I told her lots of times that i like him and she still continues to talk to him and say "dont worry nothings gonna happen because i dont like him" even though he thinks she does! Obviously im mad at her for doing this to me because he stopped even talking to me as a friend ,in order to talk to her.I know eventually he's gonna finally get the hint that she doesn't like him.I was thinking about just backing off for a while and not doing much communicating with him...just so he maybe misses me because we got kinda close before she came into the picture.What should i do? Well this friend of yours is being very disrespectful. Sit her down and tell her exactly why you want her to stop and if she still doesnt stop than she really isnt a true friend. You also need to tell this guy that she doesnt like him so he doesnt feel as if he is being lead on because that can totally ruin whatever friendship and trust you guys have. Okay so I was with this guy, joe, for about four months, in the begining it was bad, he was always getting with other girls, but i always took him back. he got better and stopped with the cheating, but then i ended up getting with an old friend last weekend, and i told the jpe that i just wanted to be friends.. I started talking to this old friend and have been hanginout with him a lot. but joe keeps calling and begging for me back and trying to get back with me..

my computer has this glass thing around the screen, and there are buttons like volume up and down, eject and stuff. my computer broke down a few days ago and i used the disc to 'wash' my computer, and when i turned it on the eject button just kept popping up and my computer tries to eject. i know its from the glass because when you press it, it says 'eject' in block letters and it shows on the screen, plus there's a beeping sound.
my question is, could i fix it myself or do i have to seek professional help? (link)

Definatly get proffesional help. To save money take it to a local sony store and get an opinion on what they think is wrong before going out and spending a bunch of money for an expection just to find out that all you had to do is click a button to get it to stop. that way you can tell the pro helper what exactly needs fixing and look up how much it could costs so they dont trick you into overpaying.

Alright so I've been talking to this guy from Germany who I'm gonna meet up with when I go home in December to see my family (Dont give me a lecture about internet dating I swear to God if I hear another word...if your gonna mention it just shut up and skip me) Anyways things ahve been going great for the past weeks but last week he didn't talk to me at all and than on sunday I got something from him saying sorry I wont be on this week, on icq becuase I ahve to work early but I will be on Wer-kennt-wen, german myspace, well that was on Sunday and I still havne't gotten anythin....I hate this and things are starting to run through my mind again. He's said he likes me and my mom said if a guy ikes you he will do anything to contact you...its just I know he's busy at work but I mean can't he find some time I just get the feeling he's not interested in me anymore and I still wanna met him like he said previously I'm just scared now he's losing interest..any ideas?? there is this guy that I know likes me he texts me after school and talks to me. So for the past month I haven't had my phone and I know he was starting to doubt if I had really had my phone taken away which I did by the way. He told me to text him when I got my phone back but I forgot to text him yesterday when I got my phone back yesterday. So this morning he tested me say happy thanksgiving and I replied to him he then didn't text back. So like 2 hours later I texted him and he hasn't replied. I don't know I he is man at me or something. I think he thought I wasn't going to text back because I told him I didn't have my phone so he now probably thinks I am a liar. Tell him your sorry and it wont happen again and ask him if he wants to come over and hang out. he'll feel better and you'll get to have some time alone. And the reason he isnt texting you back is he is probably trying to show you what you did to him and teach you a lesson. So I'm finally going to meet my boyfriend's parents for a nice dinner at their house. Now his father and his brother aren't too fond of me to put it nicely. His brother is home for thanksgiving (from college) just my luck because he totally despises me. He found my facebook from his brother's (my boyfriend) facebook and my profile picture at the time was this bikini picture out back in my pool and he said SLUT and started yelling at his brother for dating me. So he doesn't like me very much even though I might be drop dead gorgeous I have the brains to match after all I did get early acceptance to UCLA & Stanford and a great personality to match. His Father doesn't like me too much either because he believes that I'm too pretty to date his son and that I'm just using him even though my boyfriend is like one of the biggest jocks at my school with a killer body. His mom is neutral but I'm guessing excited to meet me for the first time. So it's really really really important I dress the part for this dinner.
