So there's this guy in my class that I've had a crush on for AGES but I've never actually talked to him. I get all nervous when I try and I'll refuse to go anywhere near him. like the others said, it is possible this is a rumor. he could be blushing and showing signs because he is embarrassed, or he could like you and it got out somehow.
if you can't talk to him about this, ask a trusted friend to talk to him, however, it will be more truthful and the best way to handle this is to talk to him directly. Start a casual conversation and then say something like, "i heard a rumor that you liked me, i'm feeling very confused, so could you please tell me the truth?" if he is a friend, you could also just tell him that you like him but ask to keep the friendship. it's important to be direct. good luck! xx

This question is about my sisters braces, so I can't give too much detail on how it feels or anything but I'll describe this as best as I can.
My sister got her braces yesterday and they're already causing her discomfort which seems beyond the norm. Hers are different to mine, she has springs in hers and they've put something behind her front teeth (they look like white squares but I have no idea what they are).
The springs on her braces are at the front, and they've made her lip swell up quite bad. Is there any she we can heal this quickly? She's got wax on it and is treating her lip but it looks painful.
*Also if anyone can tell me what the white squares behind her teeth might be, it would be appreciated. It's quite strange, I've never seen or heard of them before! They're not causing her pain, we just want to know what they're for.*

i had braces, and had similar problems.
lip swelling: she is probably sensitive to the springs, this is normal so is discomfort. if you have mouth numbing ointment it wont heal faster or slower but will cause almost NO pain.
white squares: these are to stop her upper teeth from biting/pushing the braces on her bottom teeth.

one thing i did for humor in a talent show:
get a huge jacket, have another person stand behind you, as your "arms," then 'get ready for school' (e.g. makeup, teeth, wash face, etc.) your "arms" won't be able to see, this is SO HALARIOUS!

well try to bring up the subject of kissing, like "have you had your first kiss" or make comments on kissing if you are watching a romantic movie, or say "i wonder what it's like to kiss someone." if that's too hard, (it was for me!) try telling him really sweet things (i love you, etc.) also there are lots of online sites, so good luck! hope you have a great kiss!
