Hi, my name is Jessica, some of my friends call me dq for dancingqueen. i am from Murrieta, California, USA. my family consists of my mom and dad, and my younger sister. I also had older sister who died from cancer, four days before i was turning ten years old. her death changed my life forever. Firstly, I'm a freshman in college right now. Right before school ended this past year, a 20 yr old guy started leaving me messages on myspace. He's a US marine, and he was in Iraq at the time. He said he was from my hometown, and was feeling lonely, just wanted to get to know some new people from the area. So I messaged back and forth for a while. Then we started IMing each other. And right before I left for school, he started calling on the phone. He came home on leave the day I left for school. We had made plans to get together while he was home; he even agreed to drive an hour to see me at school. When it came time for him to come visit the first time, he said sry, I have something to do tomorrow, and since I"m representing the Marines, I wanna look and feel my best, so I"m not gonna come see you (he wouldn't have gotten home till like 2 am) - so that's totally acceptable. He called the next day saying he felt so bad, was I mad at him? don't be mad blahblahblah...but I was fine with that. The next weekend, he was supposed to come up again, it was the day before he was gonna be deployed to OKinawa. He was getting a hotel room with some buddies to party it up before he went back, and said I could join them. I said I really didn't feel comfortable going off campus to a hotel room with a bunch of guys I've really never met before. He said that was understandable, so he'd just come to my dorm and chill for a while, and then I could decide if I wanted to go offcampus with him or not. He said he would call when he got in the area. But he never called. As soon as he got to OKinawa, he called and said he was so sorry, he had flight problems, don't be mad at him, his life has been really stressful, and he can understand why I would be frustrated, but don't be mad at him. I told him I wasn't, and it was all good. He keeps leaving me messages on AIM at night while I"m sleeping (14 hr time difference) and he just called again a coupel nights ago, but other than that, I really haven't talked to him in over a month. He said he's coming home for Christmas (I will be home from school as well) and he wants to get together then. Should I give him the chance after he totally blew me off last time? He really seemed eager to meet me, both last time he was home, and talking about CHristmas, so I can't believe he just didn't feel like it. My mom says maybe he got scared, but I can't imagine what he would have to be scared of...? PLease help, thanks

well it could be nerves.. or it could be the fact that he is playing you.. or it could be that he actually has all these problems.. Marines are hard to get in touch with and very hard to visit someone.. they have all these orders they have to follow.. my boyfriend is a marine.. and sometimes he tries to come see me.. but he cant unexpectedly cuz being a Marine is his job.. eventhough he would rather be with me.. i wouldnt give hope just yet.. wait it out maybe another 2 times.. and if he keeps this up.. just move on and forget him.. k.. love ya.. xoxo.. bye

ok me and my current bf have known each other for 6 six years and have been "goin out" for about 5 months consistantly now... i put it in quotes because its more of an online dating thing (he lives 3000 miles away from me), however we were able to finally meet about 3 weeks ago. ok so now that i gave you a lil of the background heres my dilema: ever since we departed from seeing each other (3 weeks now)i dont hear from him anymore. i guess i talked to him online maybe 3 times since then and everytime he insists that nothing has changed and that he still does love me. But before we met we chatted online everyday and talked on the phone constantly and now i get squat! i would call him but he doesnt have a cell and i dont like calling the house because his parents hate me :/. and i dunno wat to do... i dunno if he's purposely trying to ignore me or if theres sumthing else goin on... please help me im goin crazy. i find myself constantly crying wondering if he still loves me and wants to be with me. wat do you suggest i do? well hunn.. they could be just trying to get you back for telling on her.. but it depends on what you mean by they are acting like your friends.. i mean is she popular because she knows everyone and is a sweet girl.. or is she popular cuz everyone secretly is afraid of her.. and she is just mean.. well if she steals money.. then she prolly isnt too nice.. so i would say be careful.. cuz i think they might be trying to get you back from telling on her... so try to find out.. and talk to them.. find someone you can trust..

1.ive liked this boy who i think im in love with and he has liked stood me off...and stuff but for all his other girl friends...hes liked me on and off he jus lives about 45 minutes away and its MEGAA hard 2 see him...I always talk 2 him online and on the phone because hes like my best friend....Ive tried soo many times to get over him...but everytime he calls or IMs me i get butterflys and fall for him again...He knos i like him...and he is away for the summer...but before he left he told me i was "all his" when he gets back...idk wat tht means...but i liked wat he said ALOT...

okay. first of all.. i think you need to choose which guy you care about more.. because i dont know.. it seems like you could be leading them both on at the same time.. and thats not a good thing.. but hint: i would choose number one... number one guy might have all the feelings in the world for you.. and just isnt showing it.. because he might not want to ruin the friendship u have together.. and because he said you were \\\"all his\\\".. i think that he is finally realizing that you are too good to give up.. and his feelings are getting stronger.. guy number 2 sounds like a fling or short term relationship.. and if you want that.. then stick with him because he sounds very into you at that moment.. but if you want a long relationship and your searching for love.. then i would recommend you talking to this guy and tell him what you want out of your relationship.. because flings suck.. and i dont want you to get hurt.. :).. but my opinion.. i would wait until boy number one comes back for the summer... or you talk to him and asked him what he meant by you being \\\"all his\\\"...communication is the key i guess.. i know its akward.. but thats the best thing to do right now.. :)

Hello, Im 28 and I was talking to a member of the opposite sex online one day, and I asked them what they were wearing at that time. They replied with the type of clothing they were wearing. They then unexpectedly turned the question around on me and said that since they had answered my question, I had to answer the same one for them. After some persuasion, I timidly admited that I was actually naked at that time. They did not take offence at knowing this. It felt risque at first, but afterwards, I felt kinda releaved to have been able to tell a member of the opposite sex that I was nude. Was it wrong to tell someone of the opposite sex about my nudity when chatting with them? Anyone else have any oppinions or suggestions? (link)

its not wrong to tell the opposite sex whether you are nude or not.. it is better if you tell the truth anyways.. and most people wont take offense to that because almost everyone is nude while they are online at one point in time.. i wouldnt worry about it too much..
