Whats better to have ceramic plates or gold ones on a hair straightener(or any other types)?
Whats the widest width of plates you can get for under $150?
Chi, Sedu, or Conair?
I have very thick and very wavy hair. I currently use a Vidal Sasson Wet2Set and it doesn't work well AT ALL, even on the highest setting.
What do you all recomened and why, would be awesome.
Thanks!

I have an important event I have to attend tomorrow night. My hair is very curly, but I straighten it often. I have VERY short layers, but my hair comes down to my chest. How can I get my hair SUPER straight? Like, what can I do to make everything straight and withstand a night of cold blowing winds? (link)

Well just like the others said take a shower or bath, when you get out towl dry your hair well, let some of it air dry, and while its still a little damp blow dry your hair, make sure you brush it out also, after you've done that you can spray non-friz spray (you can get cheap at walmart) it adds shine and also helps to keep hair healthy and non-frizzy. I blow dry my hair alot and i use that. Also make sure your strighter has heat settings, use the highest setting. Mine has turbo you can get it also at walmart for $15 it works well. I hope i helped.
