I feel so stupid for asking this, but what EXACTLY is happening in Iraq? Why are we fighting them? What is Bush doing that is making him so hated? Is there anything else that I should know about?I really want to be politically informed!
P.S.- Also, what's happening in Darfur?

Its kinda confusing whats happening in Iraq but so believe including the Bush that there was weapons of mass destruction..like nuclear weapons in Iraq and he wanted to get rid of them. Well he used 9/11 as a toy to get the American trust behind him because he was so sure about these nuclear weapons. Well come to find out we did not find any and Bush spent so much money taking over a country. The only good thing that came out of this was getting rid of their dictator Saddam Hussaine. Now the United States is spending billions of dollars building this country back up again after we just tore it down for no reason and people are fed up with establishing a government there because the Iraqi people are not really helping us out. And there is also the situation with Iran. Iran is supposivley creating nuclear explosives and testing them which is banned by the United Nations. So the United Nations asked to inspect the treat and Iran will not let them in which is suspicious. Now during the war in the 1990's between Iran and Iraq (I forgot what there called but give me a break lol) the United States took Iraq's side (I forget why, I think for oil reasons) and Iran believes that the reason they lost that was was because of our interfeirence and now they hate us. So they create alot of tension in the Iraq problem as well wanting the United States to fail at something and laugh in our faces and we believe there making the nuclear explosives for an invasion on either Iraq or the USA.
Darfur is a completely different situation. It takes place in a certain part of Africa and people live in tribes in this area and most people in the United Nations believe that the area is being "ethnically cleansed" kinda like the jews were in WWII. But following WWII a law was passed that any country that believed a ethnic cleansing was going on that country would have to take immediate action of face charges, thats why no one is stepping up. First off Darfur will not let the United Nations in to investigate and big countries have there own problems to worry about like the USA with Iraq. And no one wants to relive the emotional pain WWII left on our society. But if you think about it we should take action because somethings wrong if they dont let the United Nations in and if we let it go too out of hand like we did with Hitler it could lead to another World War.

Colleges love it when you take the SATs. Because it lets them know that your smart basically. It's a hard test which is divided into sections and timed. Theres science, math, vocabulary, Essays and reading. I would recommend taking it if it is given to you because I live in New York and they are a very strict school system along with California and i know Cali has very smart people and your going to try to fight for a spot in that college against students that got a good education in that state. If you score high. GREAT! If not i know you can take it over as many times as you want

Well, my dad has this girlfriend, and i hate her with a passion shes just plain mean if i told you some stuff she's said to me/done to me. you'd hate her to. she has 2 daughters but now one is going to college [with most of my dad's money] and the other is my age and shes a major devil. she'll be all nice to your face then she'll start talking about you like she's miss. popular and talk about me like im a major dork,b*itch, single cat lady when i grow up ect. and how she's going to be a model because she's skinny,tan,perfect skin and like flawless hair. im a little jelous to because i have dull blondish hair and slight pale skin and im about the same height but not as "skinny" as her. shes like 80 pounds and shes 13 and im like almost 100 and im 13. my brother is going off to college soon, and im worrie my dad is about to ask his girlfriend "the question" and i already get beat up and talked down to enough, one time she hit me when i was 8. i told my dad but he didn't listen. how can i get rid of her? shes like 40 and my dad is rich and hes like 55. [also my parents divorced]. what can i do? please give me advice on how to get rid of my dad's evil girlfriend and stupid little daughter. they're so mean! help!! (link)

You sound like cinderella. I have no advice for this really except live with your mom. Your beautiful the way you are and things happen in life but they make us a stronger person when you get through them.

Ok so there's these 2 guys that I really really really like!!!
Guy #1- He's really sweet, caring and nice to me. Prob?? well he was my neighbors ex... so that makes it a little complicated. She is friends with me, but if I go out with him... she said she'll kill me and never speak to me again
Guy #2- is Guy #1's bff.... which also makes it hard and confusing. He was in my 7th, 8th, and 9th grade but we never really spoke to each other that much. Maybe because I didn't have a crush on him until I actually met him (thanks to guy #2)
HELP! I really like both of these guys but there's a twist to both of them. That makes it super hard for me.
Any advice on what to do?
I was thinking of ignoring both of them and looking for another guy, but i'm not sure.

No go for what your heart wants. Because you never wanna regret something you could have but never went for. I say i would pick the guy that takes the most interest in me becasue thats the boy that i want to fall in love with and want to stick around me for a while. Besides Guy 1 seems to have more to loose then to gain. And i am sure once you fall in love with guy 2 guy 1 will be ancient history.

I am an African American teen! My mom is black and so is my father. I look like I am half black half white, half Mexican, Mexican, Puerto Rican?! I have long curly hair, too. A lot of people ask what my ethnicity is and I tell them what I am. They often reply, "FULL?!" "No you're not!" "What else!" "Well, you don't look like it!" "You're lying!" "well, why is your hair like that?!" "No, because look at your hair!" "your parents must not be dark!?" My mom does have light skin, but that doesn't make her any less black than a darker person! I get so mad when people tell me I am not black or I am half! I believe there is nothing wrong with being multi racial or biracial, but that's NOT me! I KNOW what I am. What's the best way to tell people to not tell me what I am or tell me I am less black because of what I look like? (link)

Honestly i know where you coming from. Kinda. Your different and people only say "WOW!" because of it but theres nothing wrong with being different then every other black girl. It makes you who you are. Let me tell you something I am full italian. Picture an Italian looking girl. What should come to mind is black hair, dark complection, dark eyes. Let me tell you I am the complete opposite! I have red hair, light skin and green eyes. But that never put me down when people didnt believe i was Italian. They thought i was faking it or something like people think your faking your ethnicity. I say, screw them what do they know? If they don't believe you then alright. No skin off your back. Or you could use my snotty response after trying to get it through there heads for a while that you are what you are and say "Well i think i would know."

My parents are very protective of me going out... as on dates
well recently I met a guy and we are friends. (nothing more than that... we both agreed) ok??? so we are just friends.
Well he asked me if I wanted to go to a movie, and I said yes... but only as friends. So we agreed that we would go to the movies only as friends
Well how do I tell my parents that I wanna go to the movies with one of my guy friends??
If I tell them it's a guy, they will automatically think i'm going out with him and they will say no
I guess I'm just scared because I know that if I say "can I go to the movies with him, and we both agreed it was only as friends and nothing more than that"
well then they would probably let me go once they got to know him better

I think its ridiculous your scared of your parents. If you dont stand strong for what you want to do then there never going to let you do anything. Tell them exactly the situation and tell them he is a nice boy and your good friends with him. Or my other advice is to invite him to your house first or something to have your parents get to know him. And finally you could always lie, which is the last option. A little white lie saying that there is more people going then just you two.

We all have crushes. Sometimes things werent ment to be and we can not control that but if you do believe in fate it will happen just don't push it and think about it everyday. What i tend to do is go on living my life being who i wanna be and being the person i wanna become and in the back of my mind realize that whatever happens. happens you can not control somethings. But listen, its kinda pathetic to put yourself down that you dont have a boyfriend i know its hard to be patient but listen everything good it worth the wait.

okay there is this guy i like, we hung out last week for the first time. (met through friends)A very cool kid we have a lot in common. I got out of the car and i gave him a handshake and thanked him for the nice evening. I mean it was our first time meeting and i began to like him so i didnt wana rush things. im so scared i might be pregnant. i had sex with this guy on may 18th. he didn't come in me, he had a condom on, but then he took it off, n he came in my underwear, which i put on like right after. that day was a friday. on saturday night, like at 11 or 12 at night i felt kinda nauseas. i dunno why. then i felt nauseas monday morning till like wednesday morning, but it might have been because we were disecting pigs in first period every morning. after that, i didn't get nauseas or anything anymore. i got my period regularly three times. i just finished my third time. i noticed it was kinda light. it ended maybe a day or two sooner than usual. last night in the shower, i noticed my stomach got a LOT bigger. not like super huge, but i'm a skinny girl, &it got bigger. could i be pregnant ? Okay well if you get your period your not pregnant. By having your period you are getting rid of the lining in your uterus to support a baby. If your body is getting rid of that lining then obviously there is no baby growing inside you. But I would be more careful next time you do this because my health teacher did tell us a story about a girl that let her boyfriend cum around her opening and she did get pregnant even though he did not come inside her because those little things do swim.
