I'm just asking for people's different stories about having sex with their best friends. Was it awkward, was it fun, was it the best sex you've had, was it the worst, did it make you two closer or did it make your friendship awkward? Any insight you can give me :) (link)

It was a big mistake because now we are not even friends anymore..many girls become more attached to someone after they have sex with them..well i had sex with my friend and it made me feel like we were in a relationship..stupid right?!..well i got jealous of him and some girl one time and that was it..he didnt want to be friends anymore..some friend huh?!!

I've known Joe for about 5 years now. He is like my best guy friend. I can tell him anything and trust him with my life which I can't do with many people. I've always had a crush on him. When I find another guy, I always seem to think about him. Sometimes the things he does and how he acts towards me makes me think he likes me more than a friend but I don't know.
He's always giving me hugs
He always listens, no matter what it is
I know he is attracted to me
He talks to me different than other girls I've realized, even texting. He short texts all other girls but with me he's different
Sometimes I will say love you at the end of a text or something and he always says "love you too linds!" which makes me smile
It seems like when we're around people and other guys he tries to "show me off" in a way
When he found out I was "talking" to another guy, I could tell he got really jealous
We ALWAYS flirt when we're together and the occasional cuddle
At a bonfire I was crying because I found out bad news with my family and I came back and he was like Linds come sit right here and he was pointing to his lap so I sat there in his arms..i didn't want to leave.
I could go on and on. But these could just be him being my best friend too right? How can you tell if it's something more or not? The thing that makes me back off a little is he was with a girl for 3 years, his only girlfriend. They still talk and are really close which makes me doubt myself. I would say something about liking him but I don't want to make myself look stupid and have our friendship be awkward.
Then sometimes I feel like he doesn't like me because..
When I ask him about other guys or talk about them he doesn't say much. I don't know if he really is bothered or if he tries to hide it. I always seem to have to text him, but he is always busy, but if he liked me wouldn't he text me every now and then? People say he could be intimidated by me because everyone tells me how pretty I am (not sounding conceited) but he is really cute too all the girls want him. Why doesn't he just make a move sometime!!? Sometimes I feel like he wants to kiss me or do something but he won't.
There are so many mixed signals. Are there any big signs?? More and more I've realized that I have to put myself out there and I've been trying, I mean it's pretty obvious I want him. What do you guys think? Please don't say just tell him, It's not that easy. If I could have I would of 5 years ago.. (link)

If you love somebody you should just say it..there's no shame in love..if he just love you as a friend things wont be awkward..he will understand..its better to get it over with and i'm sure things will work out the way that they are suppose to..i know people might say just let things fall into place on their own which is true sometimes..but sometimes fate needs a little help..she can't do it all on her own..so find the courage to tell him..suck it up sister..be the strong lady you are!!

We broke up earlier so he can get back on track with his life/career. He thought a relationship was a distraction. His family doesn't like me, so when they found out we broke up. They were happy. They thought I was a bad influence on him, because for some reason he would do stuff for me and not for them. I guess... They're intimidated by me? By the power I have towards their son? But anyways, he recently told me that he still loves me because ever since we broke up he couldn't stop thinking about me. We decided to be in a "secret" relationship, but towards his parents he's single?? So we're keeping it away from his parents, and we're limiting the time we see each other. Then, just now... I told him I was scared he was going to leave me again, he said he's trying really hard to regain his feelings back towards me. What? Who tries to regain their feelings back for someone? Does that even work? I know he needs time to get everything organized.
My friends say that he's obviously confused about his life, but he obviously still really likes me because I'm his first personal girlfriend that he actually loved. And he didn't want to lose that, especially since he keeps calling me nicknames and hugs me, kisses me, holds my hand in front of other people.
But the one thing that confuses me, regaining his feelings? He said, yes he still loves me, that's why he said he was going to come back to me. Uhhhh... (link)

I've been in a similar situation before. If a guy really wants to be with a girl, trust me, he will do everything he can to make that happen, but in some cases a guy can really want to be with you but like you said, he has alot of other issues. You can wait around for him, but if you ever feel like you're wasting your time, or he'll never be what you want him to be..that's when you let him go for good because it only gets worse. Don't let him think you need him too much because he will never get the big picture, that its about both of you not just him. As far as the family not liking you thing goes, dont worry about that, it happens all the time but if he loves you, he will not let anyone get in the way of that. Just remember, love conquers all!!
