I have a runny nose. I'm M/15. I feel fine it's just that my nose is in a constant need for tissue. The temperature just started getting low & my house does not have heat.(Heat is an un-affordable luxury)I do not have a cold & I am not sneezing. It just drips & it is annoying. What can I do to get rid of this krap? (link)
It's hard to be in the cold for any length of time and not have a runny nose. Some people are more sensitive to this than others. It's also possible that you're allergic to something, like dust or mold. I'd see an allergist to rule out anything serious. If you can't do that, try an over the counter allergy medicine that's NOT benadryl. Benadryl will just put you to sleep.

I'm 23/F.

I was on Facebook today and was thoroughly surprised to see that his cousin had posted a note titled "I Cost $(dollar amount) A Night!" Turns out it's one of those survey things where you fill out a checklist and get points for various things, add them up and then use the number in the title.

Why is this a problem? She's 11. I really don't think she knows what it means. Her mother really doesn't monitor her Facebook usage, and nobody has said anything about it yet. I asked my fiance to text the girl's mom and let her know, but he thinks it'll make us look bad if we do.

What course of action should we take? Are we reading too much into it? (link)
My family does this stuff too, little cousins 13-17. I sent them a message telling them how trashy this looks and how it could screw things up for them, and I think you should talk to your cousin directly. Only if she does it again would I escalate and talk to the girl's mom. She deserves a chance to make her own decisions about her information, to start controlling what she does online. If you go behind her back she'll only be more secretive, and that'll make it easier for her to lose sight of what's dangerous to share and what's not.

What is a nickname I could give my friend marquis? (link)
Mark or Keys might be decent. If you really want to bug him, call him Sade (Saahd), as in the Marquis de Sade. Look that guy up, unless you have a weak stomach.

When I was younger I had a couple warts on my hands. I am now 20 and haven't had a wart in over 5 years. Although they are still a bit of a sore subject for me. Everytime I get a cut on my hand, I start to panic thinking I might get a wart again. Also whenever I get a small bump on my hand I freak out a rip it off.

How can I overcome this mental problem of mine. I have nightmares about nothing but warts under all if my skin. It stresses me out so much. (link)
You got a phobia? You might want to talk to a counselor about this. I've been to a counselor for phobias, it helps a ton.

Im a girl but I dont want to be. I dfress like a guy act like a guy. I even play tackle football. I spit burp fart. And the whole bargain I recently got my period and I feelweird. I hatre being a girl. Wjhat do i do? (link)
This is really complicated.

You need to think about his a while first, before you do anything. Think about what it means to be a girl or a guy, why you want to be a guy, whether you're willing to live like a guy.

If you've already thought about this, or once you spend a month or two thinking on it, I would try to get in to talk to a counselor.

Gender issues are complicated, and you might actually be a transgendered person. If you are, you need psychological help to help you decide whether to transition, how far to transition, and help you get through whatever you decide. You might also want to talk to your parents about this, but it may be easier to talk to a guidance counselor first.

I'm a teen girl and got into anime while at summer camp. I attempted drawing anime and my friends all thought they were really "good." My mom found them and was like, "You drew this?" She disapproved incredibly and doesn't want me to draw anime anymore because she says I won't be able to draw non-anime things well anymore. Both of my parents have master's degrees in art and my dad is neutral. I'm really embarrassed that my drawings were found for some reason; I guess they were kind of private.

Should I listen to my parents and stop drawing anime? I really love drawing it and I even have manga ideas.

Thank you! (link)
I see where she's coming from, but I think it's an overreaction. Some forms of anime style are incredibly simple, and if you get stuck in a rut with it, it's hard to break out. My suggestion would be--and you can suggest this to her--that for every one thing you draw anime style, you draw something in some other style. Tell her you want to cultivate that style as part of your growth, and ask for her help in developing other styles so you become a more skilled artist. That sort of spare, line-based style of drawing in anime is good in some ways because it'll make you think about the simplest way to show something. It's just not the end-all-be-all of art.

Im a girl, and im 13. I am like in lvoe with this guy. But I am turned on by two girls kissing.l When ever I see a girl with big boobs or a round bum I get turned on,. I cdream about myself being with a girl and having sex with them. Am I a lesbian. Im a homophobic but I keep having these feelings please hlpe me!!!! (link)
First off, just relax.

Just because you're in love with a guy doesn't mean you can't be attracted to chicks too.

There's a chance you're turned on just because you're curious. A lot of people go through a phase like that around your age. They're just starting to feel attracted to people and they don't know how to filter out signals. Plus, society is full of sexy woman messages to draw in men, so it's easy for a girl to get confused.

You might also be bisexual, or even a lesbian who just got into a confused relationship with some guy. But I don't know you, I can't tell you the answer. You've gotta find the answer for yourself. How? By living. Talk to people, date people, think about yourself.

Just don't have sex yet. You're thirteen, anyone you sleep with could go to jail. Don't do that to them, lady.

Answers about your sexuality are hard to come by and take time. They even change a little as you get older. I didn't know what I was for sure until I was like 21. Just roll with the punches, and don't decide you're one thing just because. Try to love yourself for who you are, whatever your sexuality is, and find someone you know who you can talk to about this stuff without them going all weird on you. Good luck.
