Heyy guys =)
I've always liked giving advice to people when they ask because it's a great feeling to actually know that you can help. I also like listening to other peoples advices, it helps me learn new things and make me see how different or alike other peoples opinions are compared to mine.
So feel free to ask me anything- and I'll also feel free to ask for advices.

So I've recently tried tampons. I've had my period for 3 years and was too big of a chicken to try tampons.. But I got the courage this weekend to try them and surprisingly they aren't that bad :) i don't know what I was scared of haha. I think im putting then in correctly. My only problem is that I can still feel the tampon when im walking. I understand that if it's uncomfortable, then it's not in far enough. But see... When I walk around after, I can feel it but it's not really uncomfortable. Like I can handle it.. It's not like unbearable pain.
So am I supposed to feel it but it's not really hurting? I tried searching online and some people said it's normal since I'm a beginner at this and I'll get used to it. Is that true?
Also I play a sport and I'm worried that while im playing, I will feel it and something bad will happen. (link)

I started my period at the age of 12, my mum gave me pads and I used it for a couple of years. Then we received samples of always pads and tampax tampons from beinggirl.co.uk, i tried the tampons out but i felt really uncomfortable about inserting stuff in me, my mum feels uncomfy as well so I just kept the samples. When I was about 15, I decided I'd try tampons another go, promising myself to put it in all the way, and I did it. At first it was uncomfy though, and I felt it whilst walking too.
Like "Peeps" said- Beginners typically feel the tampon inserted until the vagina is desensitized enough from the insertion of a dry piece of bleached rayon/cotton blend and the removal of such, including the lining of the vaginal wall. It may take one cycle or it may take 6 cycles for your body to lose enough sensitivity for you to no longer be able to feel the inserted tampon.
I had to keep practicing too to improve the feeling of not actually feeling it. But dont insert a tampon if you do not have your period because it will irritate your vagina. Only insert it if you have.
If you can still feel the tampon, you havent put it in far enough. The outside applicator's end has to touch the vagina before you the push the inside applicator in so you wouldnt be able to feel it, just relax whilst putting it in so your muscles wouldnt tense and make it difficult for you to insert the tampon. and just dont push the outside applicator too much in that it actually pains you.
There are also allegations that rayon in tampons causes TSS, and dryness or ulcerations of vaginal tissues.
TSS is a rare but potentially fatal disease caused by a bacterial toxin. Using tampons is a risk of TSS, so safety precautions have to be done.
To minimize the risk of TSS, use a tampon of your exact absorbency, and change it every 4-8 hours.
Read and keep the inclosed leaflet from the tampon box-- everything you need to know is in it.
Hopee this helps

I been on what I call a diet for the past 8 months. At first everybody was amazed I lost so much weight so fast but now they always tell me I'm TOO thin. I want to be skinnier and I think I still look FAT. I did a BMI calculator and I'm like a number 15 (the thing said 15.1 actually). I don't eat allot. Somebody told me they think I have a eating disorder called anorexia. I looked it up. I might have that. I haven't got my period in a couple months even. I don't want to be sick? So does it go away on its own or do I need to get medicine? Im kind of confused about what to do? I didnt tell my mom because shes already upset Im still dieting and I dont want her to freak out again on me. What do you think I could do to be normal I guess? Thanks you (link)

Hi
Your weight should be according to your height, that way, you are healthy and not risking anything. Anorexia Nervosa means that you have a lack of desire to eat, it is an eating disorder. If you do want to lose weight, you have to do it in a healthy way- eating lots of fresh fruit and veg and being in a balanced diet containing every nutrients that your body needs to function normally. You said that you have not got your period for a couple of months, and that means that you are not healthy- you're body is not functioning properly because of the lack of nutrients your body gets. Having normal periods every month is essential because it means that you are healthy, unless of course if you are pregnant then its normal for it to be late.
You should seek help from your doctor/nutritionist, go to a clinic with your mum to discuss your problem, she is just worried about you because she loves you and she can see that you are not well. The main three treatments that you'd go through would be
1) Restoring the person to a healthy weight;
2) Treating the psychological disorders related to the illness;
3) Reducing or eliminating behaviours or thoughts that originally led to the disordered eating.
I myself is trying to lose weight, but lets just say that im eating my way to be skinny- making sure i have a balanced diet containing fruits and veg and also getting at least 15 min of exercise everyday to keep active.

im 17 and have ugly boobs. pancake nipples and they sag. its disgusting. i am better at accepting them now than i used to be but even if i saw these boobs on someone else i would prob be disgusted, cant lie. i hate bathing suits, a pushup bra does nothing and never show clevage because all you would see is saggy titts. they are like 2 inches apart from eachother, are not round , perkky oor full. really stretchy skin. i also just lost 50 lbs so i dont think that helped. o have never been with a guy and am really scared to because if my boobs. i would never let someone look at them. I honestly beleive that if i got a boob j.job i wouldnt be so self concious. everyday i worry about my shirt going i little too low and people seeing my boobs, i just dont want to live like this anymore. what do i doÉ im tired of this and i have tried to gain a better self esteem buyt i cant. in reality, no guy can enjoy my boobs the way they are now and its frusrating... Hi
I know what it feels like to feel self conscious about how your body looks. You're not the only one, everyone is unique and everything are in different shapes and sizes. I myself is a flat-chested girl, and i am aware that in a couple of years, I still will be because my mum is the same. As for boyfriends, I don't think what you look like matters, when it comes to love they wouldn't care less about what you would look like, they would love YOU for yourself and not for someone who have a pair of "saggy tits" as you call them because your personality is bigger than that and they would be able to see it. If they see your boobs and turn away in disgust, it means that they don't really love you, they are just using you for pleasure, and that is not right.
Don't worry about the size of your boobs because size doesn't matter. We are all different. Learn to love yourself just the way you are, because how could you love someone if you don't even love yourself? Focus on the positive things about yourself instead of dreading for perfection to increase your self esteem (eg, according to scientists, people who have big boobs tend to develop back pains). There are also a lot of celebs who barely have boobs, like Kiera Knightly but it doesn't seem to bother them, they just put on a huge smile on their faces. Don't be too self conscious, just smile, and people would focus on your bright and happy face. Being natural is always better than fake.
Just think about the boob job real carefully if you really want to have it so you wouldn't regret anything.
Have you watched the film "Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging"? It's so cool, and the lead's boyfriend is a great model of what boyfriends should be like, no matter the imperfections.
Hopee this helps

Over the past few months I've been noticing an increase in scars...
I've always scarred easily but it was usually just on my legs. I scar from every little thing - bug bites, and any kind of scrape. It sucks, but I'm use to my legs looking like it was hit by shrapnel. I know it will fade in time.
But the thing is, lately I've been getting scars on my face and my hands too. Every pimple I get lingers into a scar...I don't get pimples that often so I'm not horribly concerned - but its my face! Not only that but I have to use an oven mitt to play with my kitten or the little tiny scratches it makes turn into scars! Its ridiculous.
My skin isn't dry, or anything like that. This doesn't make sense. I've searched google, ask.com, and wikipedia but to no avail. Nothing would explain why I scar so easily.
Anyone know something I don't?

Heyy
I have the exact same problem. Every tiny scratch or cuts I have turn into scars. I'm currently using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy Oil, it smells like chocolate which I personally really like since I like chocolate. I have just started using it so I don't see any differences just yet, I also read the label and it said that Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter and I think it was Rosehip oil helps with scars and stretch marks.
