Hey Its Brina, or Bree as some of my friends call me, I havent been on this site in ages, and, not really going to give advice on here anymore, but, feel free to leave questions in my inbox and i might get to it

I'm getting a weave this month. I'm African American,what I mean by a weave is the fake hair "sown" in that makes it look like you have long hair. It's what celebrities like Beyonce, Ashanti, and Tiffany from "I Love New York" use, because ethinic hair grows real slow.
I want a style that has sideswept bangs going one way (right or left,either way is fine), layers that start anywhere at the cheekbone or below the jawline. No layers on the top of my head or way below that people can barely see. I want the hair to be about 12 inches, so about an inch below my shoulders, and I want it to be straight too. A bit of natural wave is okay, but no curls, because I'm buying straight hair. I've tried to find pictures of a style like what I want but it's very hard, so please find a picture of the style I described. I need to show it to my hairdresser soon. If finding the exact style is too hard, find something similar that suits a person with long straight hair, and a heart shaped, square, or oval face. I would like to have the picture on an African American model, so it's more likely that they have a weave too, but that doesn't matter so much as they style itself, if you find it on a Caucasian or any other race model, it's just as great. My boyfriends birthday is November 28th. We haven't even been dating for a month, but obviously i must do something for his birthday. I'm 15 and he will be turning 17, but he already has a car and like gas money and such. He is pretty big in sports, but not really one sport in particular. I want to do something cute, but not over the top due to the fact we haven't been dating for a while. Any ideas, sites, previous presents, or anything would be helpful. I just need somewhere to start! Please and thanks! (If it matters, we live in Michigan).
I like the advicer belows me suggestion, but heres a couple other things. Plan a picnic, or get him a giftcard to a sportings store, make him a CD of his favorite bands/singers if you know them. Just simple stuff that lets him know you care. Hope I helped!

I had sex a lil over a week ago and 2 days later i bleed for four days. I'm not sure if it was my period or not because every time i have sex i always bleed afterwards. (Usually i have rough sex) Well yesterday and today i have felt sick to my stomach, lightheaded, and felt like i was about to fall over at times.
And i havent had my period in a about 2 months so i cant really go off my missed period if you guys just recommend me taking a test. Am i just sick or are these early early signs of pregnancy?
You should deffinitly take a test. Take it as soon as possible. You could be sick, or you could be pregnant. If it turns out your not pregnant, think about the consequences before having sex again. Hope I helped!

Hey. I'm 14/F and my friend is 13/F. She was diagnosed with Luekimia last month. Can anyone think of thinks a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD can do, someone with very little money on her hands, to raise some money or help out my friend Caroline. I really want to help, and someone else has already organized a walk to raise money so that idea is out. Any ideas would be very much appreciated and I do rate.

P.S. I don't know what kind of luekimia she has but I know she has started Chemo already and she's really sick due to the side affects of it.
And the ideas don't have to raise money, but if it's something that can make her feel a little better, or comfort her please let me know, I want to do anything it takes to help her.
Aw, that deffinitly stinks :(. Plan some type of fundraiser, like a bake sale or carwash to raise money. Ask a local store if you can have the carwash in their parking lot, say a walmart or something, or sell baked goods outside of it. Make posters, and get a bunch of your friends to help you spread the word about it. Hope I helped! Good Luck!

I have a group interview at Victoria's Secret on Thursday. I was wondering how this interview be different than a regular one on one interview. Any dvice would be appreciated.

My Sweet 16 is coming up in the next couple months, (but I want to start planning now), and I don't want a big party. Instead, I want to do something special, just for me. Like going to some extravagant restuarant with the family, getting tips from a pro makeup artist (though that is a little over the top for me), or something like that. Something fun for a 16 year old girl to do. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestion as to what some other options might be?
Have your parents take you on a trip to NYC! Find a broadway show...that isnt canceled due to the strike, and go out to dinner afterwards, and do some shopping! Hope I helped! Happy sweet 16.

Okay, I need advice and I didn't know who else to ask. I'm feeling incredible apprehensive about living situations next year when I move to college. I'm supposed to be living with my two best friends. It's not that I don't trust them, it's just that I am very worried about differring priorities. I have one friend who is REALLY into partying, and who JUST GOT ENGAGED. The other, like me is still a partier, but feels that getting the education you're paying SOO MUCH for is more important. Most of all, I'm worried about my partying friend paying her rent, or not leaving in the middle of the year to live with her fiance. I'm wanting to address the issue, but I don't exactly know how to bring it up... Any advice would be REALLY appreciated!

Invite them over to your house for dinner. During dinner just bring up the topic of whats going to happen, ask if their excited and such, and just bring up kindly if your friend is thinking of moving in with her fiance. Your partying friend most likely realizes that she wont be able to party so much, due to classes/paying for rent/probably getting a job. Say you read an article in a magazine that this girl had troubles with her roomates....or whatever, and then be like, thats not going to be us right! Just, talk about it simply to them. I need some creative ideas on what to get my boyfriend for Christmas. I usually go all out and make him something really nice. Our first Christmas together, I made him a nice fleece blanket. The next Christmas, I made him a hollow book and decorated it all nice and I put cute little love notes/quotes inside of it for him.
I want to do something along those lines for him this year, but I can't think of what to do. Money is not an issue, but it has to be something creative. Something I put work into. I'm not into just buying him cologne or a sweater and calling it a day. I want his gift to be special, but something he can use too. Any ideas?
Cook him dinner, and put together a CD full of songs that you both like a lot/mean something to you both. I think thats a pretty sweet Idea...Hope I helped! Happy...Christmas...lol!

im supposed to see one of the plays that was cancelled saturday night! do you think the strike will be over by then or no?
omg, I heard about the strike, it really sucks ass! Theres a possibility that it might be over by then, but I highly doubt it, because this has been an ongoing thing, not the strike, but, stage crew workers being underpayed. Theres also a possibility you might get a refund for the ticket and/or get another one for another show night.I'm crossing my fingers for you that it'll be over soon! Hope I helped!

Get a group of friends to come to your house, let him know that you'd love if he came, and write everything down on a piece of paper. Then give him your number and have him call you if he can come. I say...plan this even for a saturday, so, tell him about it on a wednsday. If he doenst come, then, the next monday...just tell him {in a joking voice} I was so sad you couldnt come on saturday. And then talk from there. Its no biggy, talk to him for now like you do with your other guy friends, and once you learn more about each other, start flirting with him a bit. Give it time girlie. My birthday is on dec 2 and i want an acoustic guitar just that i have no idea what to look for
also many of the guitars i have looked for on walmart are for small kids and i am turning 15

Ok so there is this boy lets say bob, and i for some reason feel really attached to this kid but i dont know him that well ive only known him for maybe 4 months, and he's all i can think about, and i dont even feel like i like him as if its involentary and ive tried to like other people but he always comes right back up, hes my brother's friend and if i got together with bob my brother would be pissed. i know that doesnt matter but my brothers approvel matters to me a lot. anyway bob is an ok kid, i guess, he flirts with me sometimes, well i think? I get confused on how you can tell if someone is flirting with you haha. anyway any advice hear? what shold i do? do i really like him? am i tricking myself? what? HELP! thanks :]
It seems like you do like him, but with all of the other things going on {worrying about your brother} it makes it difficult for you to even think about it. Figure out if you truly have feelings for this guy. After that, try talking to your brother about it, get his point of view and make sure he'd be ok with it, because honestly, who wants their sister dating there friend, it happens yes, but, not all brothers will admit that they dont like that. After you do that, then talk to this guy about hanging out sometime. Hope I helped! Good Luck!
