um hey one of my friends is having a party at this place where our friends go for dances. i love going there, but (the dances are held twice a month) i have no beat and no rythem and usually i dont dance because im afraid people will laugh at my poor skills. i also dont know what to wear. im pretty much broke and my mom is pretty srict about what i wear. if anyone could help me. that would be great! thanx! Parties don't usually have a dresscode, and if the people there are your friends they wont care what you wear! But if you really wanna get a smashing outfit, try saving up your allowence ( if you get one) or save a dollar or two from lunch money every week, or whatever you can scrounge up and in no time you'll have at least enough to buy a cute shirt or skirt or maybe even both. Shop at some thrifty department stores, although it sounds kinda lame, but there are some of THE COOLEST things if you really look. No joke. I shop at thrift stores ALL THE TIME because it's really cheap, and a great bargin, because you get MORE than what you pay for. As for the rythm thing. Pshhh.. wait untill a slow song, and ask a hottie to dance. While everyone else is shakin their bootys out on the dance floor, strike up a conversation with someone who is also standing alone. Chances are they're sitting that dance out for the same reason you are ;-)

Dude I dunno, i freaking hate that place though. Hot-dogs.. wtf! who eats hot dogs!??! If I wanted a hot dog, i'd go to a freaking baseball game... and then i'd throw it from the very top, where I clearly would be sitting because Im po-white-trash and can only afford sky scraper seats, just to watch it hit some asshole in the head, and then he'd be like Oh shit this is a hot dog, sick! My GOD my boyfriend does the same thing and i HATE it!! But the thing is, he knows I hate it and does it to bug me. The other day he bit me so hard my lip started bleeding. God it's annoying! Well, does he do it on purpose or does he just have a biting fetish?? Because, if he just randomly does it without question when you're kissing, ask him about it, but not too demanding.. Yes!! I have lots of tips!! I was the same exact way before I found my boyfriend. It made me feel like all the couples where out to get me. Like I would wake up in the morning for school and tell myself "Okay, this is going to be a good day!" but when I get to school, there's a couple kissing, or holding hands, or being all cutesy wutesy with each-other and it just makes you wanna cry! If you really want a boyfriend, then put yourself out there and make yourself look available!! I'm sure you're a fine young man/lady who just needs self confidence to put that thang on the market ;-) Is there a certain someone you have your eye one?? Homecoming is coming up! Make a pass if you don't have a date, or if you're not planning on going, strike up a conversation, and get to know eachother. If you just want to stop being depressed about other couples, don't let it get to you!!! Goodness, you are way better off without a significant other tagging along behind you all the time. It's better to be solo, on your own, and free to do whatever you please. Make a list of Pro's and Con's of why it's great not to have a boyfriend/girlfriend and you will be convinced in no time going solo isn't always as bad as you make it out to be!

Ok...I've been going out with this girl for about a year, I really like her alot, but lately she's been giving me a bunch of weird excuses whenever I ask her to go anywhere...i'll ask her if she wants to go out to eat, and she'll say she can't because she has to wash the dogs or something...or that she's visiting her friend who has cancer. I dunno, when I'm with her it feels different, but she blows me off to wash her dogs? Or to visit her friend with cancer? What the shit is that? fuck you dude, teenagers come to this site and ask for alternative opinions because they are unsure of how to handle sex. If you were a confused teen and where unsure of some of the consequences, or mishaps of sex (what contraceptive to use, when and where is the right time and place, does it hurt?) Wouldn't you want a second opinion from someone who's already lost their virginity? I know I would. And plus, if you look at the advice people give, someone always says "If you're having doubts or questioning yourself, you're probably not ready." There you go. Well, since I know the situation, I will tell you I've been through the same stress, and done the same thing you've done to myself as well. We all go through different things, and all have different ways of coping with our stress. You shouldn't have done what you did, but neither should she. Everyone needs to learn to take their matters into their own hands and just talk it out. Talking is the best solution to everything, in my opinion. If you want to talk it out with her, try to, but if you had no intentions on not forgiving her you shouldn't have told her you were going to in the first place.

Hey. I need some advice and you seem like you like helping people out so here i go:
I'm a sophomore and ever since last year, I have liked this guy in my high school and he has liked me back. However, this guy is a player. He goes out with many girls at the same time. He gets over all of them, yet he's never been able to get over me. He always asks me out and I always refuse him. Who would want to go out with a player and get hurt? He promises me that he'll change. Sadly, I caught him making out with another girl the day after. I was devastated. I sent him a letter that told him how I felt. In it I told him how stupid I felt for liking and caring so much about him for such a long time. I also told him I was sick of lies and false promises. I ended it by saying "don't write back or talk to me anymore...leave me alone, you've hurt me enough." I should feel better now that it's over, but I don't. The thought that he'll never talk to me again makes me sad. Even though he's broken my heart and played me from the very start, I can't help but keep liking him. Should I talk to him again? Let me start off by saying, no girl deserves to be treated like that. You were right for sending him a letter saying what you did, it was definatly the right thing to do. As for trying to make you two work out, don't do it. I am sure you're beautiful, but you just get stuck on guys you know you could never have, just because of the way they act, like this guy. I've been dating the same guy for 6 months now, and he treats me like his everything, and that's how every girl deserves to be treated. When you told him not to talk to you ever again, that was right of you to do, he doesn't deserve to talk to you! How long has it been since you gave him the letter? Because every heart needs time to heal, and yours will heal in no time. Don't try to directly jump into a diffrent relationship, or get stuck on another guy, just put yourself out there and let guys know you're single. If you find a guy that sparks your intrest, get to know him, and try him out for a change. You'll be over that jerk in no time.

Just take a look at your talent. You obviously must be a pretty great windsurfer to compete with an older age group, so don't let it get to you. Your talent is just as great as anyone who you're going to be competing again, so just go in there with a good head on your shoulders and lots of confidence in yourself, and you'll be in great shape for the competition!
