about

My name is Mayila (may // eel // yuh), I'm half-Indian, I am currently a student at a middle school, but I'm soon to be a Freshman in High School! I love giving advice, talking to friends, talking to my boyfriend John, and just experiencing everything life has to offer. Feel free to ask me any questions you have! I'll certainly try my hardest to help. =)

well, there is this guy in my school, he left a note in my desk that says 'I love you' on it. I know it was him bacause he was lurking around and in my desk when I wasn't looking. We are both are the shy type, so it would be kind of hard to talk to him, you know. I kinda got his little brother's sn, but it doesn't really work on my messenger. So the big question is, what should I do? I'm kinda waiting for him to make the first move.

Eh...I know people say you should wait for the guy to make the first move and ask you out, but it doesn't really matter. If you think you like him, just confront him about the whole situation. Or maybe call him, or ask a friend to do it. But if you're going to be shy around him, its probably not going to work very well, because it will be awkward and you probably won't talk a lot or do much...it'd just be better if you were friends if you're going to do that. XD Well, whatever you decide to do, just don't be shy. Its always best to take risks. You never know, it could do you a lot of good later on.

Good luck. ♥ Mayila.

I have a bad habbit of slouching at my desk at work. I go home and my neck and back are killing me.

I don't even realize I am doing it while I am focused on doing my work. How can I teach myself not to slouch?

I have this same problem at school and when I'm on the computer. What I try to do, is make sure I'm conscious of when this is happening. Just make a mental note and remind yourself to take notice every once in a while if you're slouching, and tell yourself to sit up. When you're at home watching TV, or just doing daily things like eating breakfast, tie something around your upper body to make you sit up straight. After you do this, your mind will subconsciously make your body straight when you're sitting. It may sound silly, but trust me, it works. :)

Good luck. ♥ Mayila.

i have acne marks on my face..well i have them on my cheeks to be more specific..i wish they could fade away..is there anything that can help me?? or is there anyway i can hide them?? is there anything that can permanently remove them..i used be a confident girl but now because of this i have lost my confidence and dont like the way i look..i want to get rid of this prob..

Well, one thing you can do is go to the dermatologist and ask what he would suggest. Thats the best thing. Don't be embarassed, I've been to him loads of times, and the dermatologists always help out loads. Other than that, you could try using a good foundation like Clinique or something like that. Although, usually they still show up...I would suggest going with what the dermatologist has to say.

Good luck! ♥ Mayila.
