I try to live life like every day is the first and might be the last day I have to enjoy! Not being afraid, not being someone that judges and looks down on anyone, we all have our faults and we all have our burdens to carry, thats why I enjoy doing this, if I can possibly help someone through their day with a smile rather then a worry then I'm there! This may also not be an option but do you have a teacher you trust or a guidance counselor at your school? There are many places you can go online to look into the smptoms as well, but the most important of all is to talk to someone, you need very much to be diagnosed so getting to a doctor and explaining your synptoms is very important. Here is a place online that I hope will help, it is for teens and run by teens , it's a support group and I think someone here might be able to help you more as they too are going through what you are! Keep in touch and If you need an ear or a friend, I'm here.

I know you said eat or drink, but the only thing I can honestly say that seems to help me is a nice hot bath or a heating pad on your tummy, my daughter said that Ginger ale seems to sooth her , hot tea is another thought, but the warm/hot soak in a bath or heating pad is a gurantee to get some comfort.

How bad is weed for you?
I smoke like.. maybe once every 2 months.. sometimes from a pipe.. and sometimes from a can.. how bad is this for you? I dont even think I get high when I do it though.. How do you know when youre high? (link)

I'm not sure if this is a serious question or just a joke to get someone to reply, but here goes my answer, first drugs are drugs, even drinking is a drug, as far as weed I'm sure you could go the route that it's a natural plant blah blah blah, also one that alters your mind, thoughts and slows reactions as well as it has been proven that it kills brain cells, so if you have an IQ that is extreme and you can afford to have some brain cells die then hey guess your not to bad off for the few times you have done it, anyways you cut it drugs are not good for you, so think about what you want for your life and if it's not much, and you have pleanty of brain cells to spare, then I guess you know the answer.

hello. 16.f.usa. well i am going to be a junior in highschool after the break, and i am thinking about college. I decided that i wanted to attend college at AUC (american university of Cairo) which is in Cairo, Egypt. Well i am trying to find out a way to get the information i need. i have checked the website but i am wondering if it is likely if they would accept me for the full 4 years or would i be required to do the study abroad program since i am a foriegner. i am so confused! plz help me! thank you (link)

I would think that the best way to find out would be if you have any way to contact the college directly and speak to someone? If you have a guidance Counselor in your current school go to her/him and ask them for their help in contacting or finding a way to contact the school you have chosen. Good Luck!

I met a guy (steven) through my cousin when i visited him last week...they are friends and he was over there when i came over. Well it obvious that he was into me..he was overly nice..always complemented me..and we hit it off. Well my cousin was mad when he found he out we were kind of into eachother. I guess he was being overprotective. But this guy lives an hr away and i miss him already..i really started to like him. And that was the first guy i liked in years! i dont have his number but he has a myspace. Should i forget about him or what? (link)

I think it's pretty much normal to feel left out when someone your really close to seems to be pulling away, but in this case it is also very normal at this age to want to spend almost every waking hour with your crush! When you start to get bothered by the time she is spending with him just stop and think about the Hot Guy you are crushing on and exactly how much time you would want to spend with him if he asked you out? I think somewhere there you will find your answer, not that she is any less a friend she is just a friend with a boyfriend too, sharing sux but we all gotta give a little!

My 17 year old daughter quit school, does not have a job--and does NOTHING around the house. She
does have money in savings which she has been blowing like crazy, but that's almost gone now. She lied to me about last night, said she stayed at a friends to babysit younger siblings, and I found out differently. The friends Mom doesn't even care that our daughters weren't there, so she is not much help. I don't know where my daughter is right now. When she comes home, I am going to tell her she cannot stay anywhere from now on. (she did this one other time and was grounded) I am prepared for a big fight from her, and she will probably leave without my permission. I am going to tell her that I will report her as a runaway.
However, then I have no clue what will happen next (if I get the law involved)
She might turn the story on me and say she is abused. (Which of course she is not) but she plays the role of the victim well, and threatened to call CPS another time when I put my foot down.
Her BF is 19 and lives in a bordering state, but is it against the law if he takes her across state lines? She is (17) and other people seem to think that would not be against the law because she is over 16.
So my questions are.
Is a relationship between a 17 yr old and 19 yr old legal?
What happens when a 17 yr old is reported as a run away?
Does CPS automatically believe a teenager who plays the victim?

First it would depend on the State you live in, some States have strict laws and you could very easily have the 19 year old arrested for a number of things up to Statatory rape. Second also depends on your state , I know here in the State of Florida there would be a amber alert issued right away and as far as I have seen happen a search would begin right away, they take things like that very serious where I am from. Third, sadly that too had a depends, but I think that would depend on the worker that gets your case, there are some that are wonderful, caring and would not just take someones word for it but would look into the situation and go from there, most are like that, still again there are some that should have retired long ago and make a career out of tormenting good parents and letting the true abusers run free, this I have seen first hand. In any event, stand your ground, I just recently learned you can't be your teens best friend and parent too, Id much prefer being the parent and having her mad at me as long as she is safe in our home not running around while she rants and raves, keep your chin up, and the best advice of all you are all ready doing, stand firm. Im 16 and i still havent madeout with anyone. All my friends are very experienced and i get uncomfortable when they talk about that kind of stuff becuz im very inexperienced in that department. First, there is absolutly NOTHING wrong with you for not being experienced in the sexual department at 16,when you mention 13 year olds that have*made out* have you noticed that many 13 year old now that do *fool around* also carry a diaper bag on their side and a baby on their hip? You and only you will know when you are ready to experience any form of that kind of contact, if you are not comfortable hearing the talk from friends simply either ask them to tone it down as it makes you uneasy becuase you have made the smart choice to wait till your ready, or just make an excuse and walk away when the talk starts. In any case just know that because you chose to wait, that makes you very smart and not at all in any way is there anything wrong with waiting, or with you! Stay true to yourself, no one else will if you don't.
