I am looking for a school in which I can major in both theater & education. I think I want to go into teaching theatre. I want to stay in the East I think, unless there's some really good school for it. I live in CT and I don't mind being a good few hours away, but I don't really want to be across the country. I am a fairly good student...B+ average. Any ideas for a good school that would offer theatre education specifically?
my friends sister goes to JMU. ( James Madison Universety ) its in Virginia.
i dont know anything about it but i do know she does A LOT of theater things there and is studying to be a teacher.

so. this was my first year in high school and in public school. i was "shy" and quiet in class. I did make soem friends though. It just feels like in school all the girls look the same and than u have me who has my own style and stuff. People are saying im "weird" and making up rumors just because i stick out. I have brown hair and green eyes and people just think im weird because im not afraid to be myself. Am i doing the right thing?
you are definietly doing the right thing. staying true to yourself is the most important thing. never change yourself to fit in. the friends you have love you for who you are and thats ALL you need.
in a few years. looking back high school is going to be such a small part of your life and you can be happy that you stayed strong.

That is a serious problem, you need to talk to somebody before it gets out of hand. You want to get this figured out before you actually try to do anything. Talk to your parents about getting a therapist, or even the school counselor or friends.

Ok there is this girl and she always stares at me and it really bothers me. i no she doesnt like me and i really dont care its not like i like her. so in gym when we were playin a game she took my assignment book and rote your ugly in it and ripped a lot of pages. should i tell on her? or would it just provoke her more?
telling on her would probably provoke her much more.
what i think you should do is confront her about it one on one. walk up to her && say something like, " what is your problem with me? what did i do to you? " or if you know you have done something to hurt in the past, apologize and clear the air.
most of the time those things work, if i doesnt, well..then maybe you should tell.
I was really good friends with one of the kids in my school durning the summer and we started fighting in december about nothing. I liked him more than a friend and i told him and he was fine with it. But then one day he went balistic on me and i decided to give him some time and its been too long and i want to be friends with him but he doesnt talk to me and I've said im sorry but he doesnt care. i dont wanna giveup because he was a really good friend and we told each other everything he knows more about me than anyone else i dont know if i should just finally give up or just tryinggg

Don't give up. If you two truly had that strong of a friendship, it will come back. It make take time for him to accept things again, but if you two were that close, things will get better. Nobody likes putting a friendship like that behind them. I think you need to confront him in person so he has no other choice but to talk to you && find out whats going on && hopefully fix things.

I think you should tell this guy that you are having a tough time getting over your ex right now but you would like to get to know him && maybe in the future there could be a relationship. But make sure you let him know that your hearts hung up right now. Try not to lead him on or he might get hurt.

Hey! I think you should make something that comes from the heart. Maybe get a cute picture of you two & put it in a cute frame. Or even, a white frame you could decorate youself. My friend did that for me && i LOVED it. =)
