I hate to say this at this time of year, but in a nutshell my younger sister drives me nuts.
She is AWFUL to me. Well she is 23 and still lives at my moms house. She is actually house sitting while my mom and stepdad are on a 5 month holiday. She has always been spoiled. For instance I had to be on welfare and find my own appartment when she always got to stay with mom.
Well my sister is very self centered and has never once invited me over to the house since my mother left on holidays 2 months ago. I just phoned her and had a very unpleasant talk with her. I tried to be nice and told her I got her a xmas gift, she just said "Oh". Then she said "why havent you sent my a xmas card?" I told her that because I would be spending xmas day with her and our mother (when she got back from her trip), and that I only sent out cards to family and friends that lived out of town and that I couldnt see before xmas.
She started arguing with me and I told her she was stressing me out and she yelled "FINE! and hung up on me. The worst part is I know she will twist things around and tell my mother that it was all my fault about what happened in our converstation, and my mom always takes her side. What am I going to do? I'm dreading Xmas now. (link)

(Oh dear, another sibling rivalry...)
It seems to me that your sister is rather immature for her age. Perhaps, to some degree, you both are - silly, childish sibling rivalry at your age? Tut, tut...
First, get used to your sisters selfishness; it ain't going away anytime soon.
Second, If you are really so worried about your mothers wrath, send those christmas cards to your family, not just your sister, but to your mother as well. Make sure to assure your mother that you will be spending time with her on christmas, and your early card was just a expression of your happiness and love for her escaping a tad early.
Then, spend a nice time with your family. If your sister brings the phone call up, casually explain(for your mothers benefit) that the whole matter had been sorted out, hadn't it? Your sister really ought not to complain, as you are spending quality time with her, plus you did spend a few cents to send your cards early, like she wanted them to be.
Next, make up with your sister. Make it clear, in the least offensive or confrontational way, that both of you are part of the family, and that you both deserve to reap the benefits of having a mother whos house is open and hospitable. Do not allude to the fact that she is selfish, self-centered, or spoiled. That will simply spoil the goodwill.
And have a Merry Christmas.

So im a freshman in highschool (and a girl!)...most of my friends have all experienced dating and boyfriends....except me....i feel like I'm kinda behind...and i do want a boyfriend...any advice about how to get to know guys better etc...i rate :) thanx (link)

As a guy, I feel I can say with enough experience in such matters that guys aren't that great. We tend to be insensitive, inattentive, and often smell bad. You really ought to reconsider.
However, if you really feel that a boyfriend is right for you, the trick to getting to know a guy better is NOT to talk them to death. Males have short attention spans, which, after a time, must be stimulated with a highly amusing remark - 'amusing' meaning "rude, crude, and stupid"(and sometimes racist).
Long conversations with them can often be counter-productive, for both of you, as you may be offended by the drivel that the male mind can come up with when pressed for conversation-starters.
However, Males are easily ensnared by the faintest amount of attention granted to them by a female. Subtley - Very subtley - show the smallest amount of interest in a suitable(and available) guy, and you will find that he will be (subtley) easier to talk to, and will be more willing to open up to you.
If the guy in question is a loner, or doesn't speak much, be careful not to scare him away; loners tend to be afraid of direct contact with females. Handle them with care.

is it wrong to think lustfully about others? i mean i can understand if it gets 2 be a constant thing and you objectify them, then its bad.. but is it really that bad 2 have inappropriate thoughts if its only ocasionally? please help

Viewing others with a feeling of lust is natural, and while I don't exactly encourage it, you shouldn't worry too much about it. Don't act on it, however, but feeling it is inevetable, and suppressing it will only lead to the unconscious urge to commit other, worse sins.

okay well like any normal person i wear deoderant =) but the thing is whenever i get to school i've started sweating immeadiately. i have NO CLUE why and its happened just recently. what should i do or whats wrong with me??? (link)

Having experienced this problem before, I suggest you change the type, and brand, of deodorant. Many deodorants are faulty, especially as they get older. Otherwise, I would say that they increased air tempurature and change of humidity inside your school is to blame.

Hey peeps. I am thinking of becoming a goth. But I have some dilemmas.
1 my mom wont let me be what I wanna be. I know the consequences. I told me mom that I wanted to dye my hair black, and she freaked.
2 I cant get past the metaphores. To goths, gothic sayings may have a meaning but when I hear or see gothic sayings or quotes or whatever, all I see is stuff about blood, guts, and death.
3 Idont know any chain stores that has a lot of gotic clothing and silver jewelry with the gothic sighns.
Help. (link)

While I will say that becoming a goth is not all about appearance, but is also about the attitude, I will answer your question in regards to style.
First, if your mother balks at the idea of seeing her precious child having a radically different hair color, you could always threaten to have your hair shaved and spiked into a mohawk. Then threaten to become a 'Punk' (a style trend all the rage in the 80's). This frightening prospect will trigger something inside her old-fasioned style sense, and she will most likely give in to a relatively small request like dying hair.
Secondly, study poetry. Poetry tends to be the origin of "Goth Sayings". If possible, study Poetry with an veteran Goth, or be taught the art of poetry by a goth. If you hate poetry, or simply dislike the sayings, discard them, as they aren't a staple of the Goth Diet, despite many assurances you may get from the new 'Trend Goths' - those who become Goth because it's what they feel is 'cool'.
Three, the internet is a wonderful source of gothic store names. Google "Goth Merchandise", and prepare to view websites with many stores in all sorts of back-woods towns, or large cities. Once you have a name with an address near you, search on Google's "Search Local" for said address.
I hope you are successful, and congratulate you for not choosing the 'Emo' life-style...
