i didn't make the marching band this year, and my director is a bitch. i want to switch schools, but don't want to leave this one. band is my life. I NEED HELP!!!! (link)

1. Tell him that band is your life and tell him you will work very hard to keep up with everyone else. Maybe he could find it in his heart to let you in.
2. Ask another school if you can join their marching band.
3. Practice, Practice, Practice so you can be good enough for next year.

Okay, so I love this guy so much. I love being with him. It's just that sometimes, I don't feel...I dunno, worthy of him. He's just so great at everything it seems and I wonder every day how he can even bring himself to look at me, let alone date me. I really don't know what to do because I've never really felt that great about myself so I really don't understand how he can like me. So then I always think that he's lying and he doesn't truly like me, because what's to like?
But really, he's so wonderful at everything he does and I just get so intimidated by that because I'm not so great at anything.
I'm clumsy, strange sometimes, weirdly smart, quiet and shy. He's a little shy too but he can at least hold a conversation without being an idiot, then he's an athlete and a musician. I'm musical too, but not anywhere near as great as he is. And on top of all that, he's so attractive it almost kills me inside.
I guess all I want to know is how I can overcome these feelings, or if my feelings are justified considering I'm nowhere near as great as he is anyway. (link)

I think your problem is that you are almost jealous. You feel very insecure, since you think that he will be gone within an instant because you don't think you are worthy.
I am a guy, and I personally don't care what a girl looks like, its all about how they are as a person that matters. If you are a bitch, then he might have a reason to hate you, but guys tend to like the girls that are quiet and mysterious. Guys don't care what the girl can or cannot do. Just be yourself.
It seems to me that you are in highschool too. Highschool isn't a place to be looking for a husband. It is a place to explore the type of person that you like so that when you eventually meet that perfect someone you will know.

i have horrendous allergies to pollen. so, to avoid rubbing my eyes, i blink really hard and generate tears so that i can pull out my eye discharge that accumulates in my tear ducts that is full of pollen (which really helps). well like recently, like... today... i noticed this little tiny ... almost pimple-like bump right near my tear duct. it's on my skin -- not on the pink part -- but it's REALLY REALLY REALLY small but i can still see it when i look really close up. in any case, it hurts like hell! i blink really hard and my whole eye gets REALLY really sore and sensitive. and if i touch the bump, forget it.. i'm either a.) scratching the hell out of my eyes or b.) practically crying from the pain. or both a & b :) which is NOT fun. so i've been thinking about getting an allergy shot. no scratch that.. i AM getting an allergy shot. but the bump is very small, white and hurts like helllll. could it be because i OD on eye drops? like. alot. No. It is called a sty. It is from irritation (you rubbing your eyes). It is essentially a pimple near your eye. Yes, they hurt like crap, but they are no biggie. And the allergy shot will help, along with crying for a bit to clear out your ducts once in a while.

Hi.
I have to get a cavity filled this Saturday. I hate needles and this is my second cavity ever. I remember last time I was freaking out about the needle. So this time, my dentist recommended me getting the laughing gas or whatever it is called. I am nervous though.
- What does it do?
- Do you still feel the needle?
- Does it make people nauseated?
PLEASE HElP

Yea the gas is like a drug almost haha. It makes you quite loopy. They might also numb your mouth, then you wont know a single thing about what is going on haha.
Best of luck though. Cavities aren't that bad though. I had to get a tooth removed. I was so scared I was crying. They numbed me and put me on the gas and next thing I know I am in the car going home haha.

Okay well Right now I am Dating "Rob" but before i dated Rob. I was dating "Al". So heres the story, in Noverber i started dating Al and we hit it off and our relatioship was amazing. Then I met Rob, who was my ex-bestfriend ex-boyfriend. I knew Rob for awhile. but after they broke up we really started hangin out and he becamse my best friend. At first we were just friends but then we kissed. So i cheated on Al and i felt so bad but i never told him..i know..dumb..but yeah. Later in March i find out that he is doing things i don't agree with..smoking and drinking and things. I gave Al like 3 chances to stop and stop doing onther things, and one time i thought he was going to hit me, but i still dated him. well after Al found out through a letter, he cheated on me. So I broke up with him becsaue i found this out and we got in a huge fight. Then Rob asked me out and i said yes. I've been dating Rob for about a month but everytime i see Al. I just want to be with him and hold his hand and hug him and kiss him. Even thou he has cheated on me and scared me and everything. He really is amazing but at the same time Rob is amazng too. So my question is what should i do? Should i date Rob or Al..i knwo you can't tell my feelings. but what do you think would be best for me. Al is 15 and Rob is 16, in my grade. Al's parents hate me, robs parents love me. Rob gets money so we can do things. Al doesn't. but at the same time. i love Al.so pleeease help! (link)

I would say stay with Rob. Al does things that could influence you in a bad way, which might be a bad thing, since you might start doing the bad things as well.
If I were you, I would ask each one if they like/love you, and why. Then you can make a choice. Don't necessarily go for the guy that is cuter or hotter, but the one that you think will make you happier. Do you think that an alcoholic will make you happy? Or someone that has the potential to be very successful and keep you happy?
But also remember this line which my friend told me: "High school is not for finding your husband. It is for finding your bridesmaids"

yes. it should help. i have gotten one of these and it did good help.
just make sure your not allergic to the shot haha.

I know people get sad, its going to happen, but for at least a month, ive been feeling really sad. I thought about cutting myself, and did it once but not too deep, not enough to kill me, but deep enough. And people at school have just been so...mean and guys have been rude and arrogant, and my parents are fighting and may be getting a divorce and my sister verbally abuses me,i've been doing worse in school and idk, im just DONE. How do i get out of this sadness? I just cant have fun or be happy anymore, and what can i do? I need help and dont want to ask my parents for a therapist, and i try to talk to my friends, but gossip makes it too hard in my school, so i just need some advice on how to get happy again! I had a gun in my hand next to my head about to pull the trigger, and I was talking to my friends online telling them goodbye and such. One friend suggested that I convert to Christianity, or at least try it.
I am not trying to convert you or anything, I am just telling my story. I converted, and I have only been sad about 5 days in that whole time, and I am bipolar. I don't take any medicine for it since I have been so happy lately.
Another thing you can do is re-examine all of your friendships. Sometimes what seems like your best friend is actually someone who doesn't really talk to you much but calls you their best friend. If this is so, confront them, and tell them how you feel.
Your sister probably verbally abuses you for a reason, something out of your control. Try and have a serious talk with her and see whats wrong. Most people only verbally abuse others because it makes themselves feel better. She might be having problems with her friends and she just takes it out on you at home.
Try and find a hobby to occupy your time, like a club after school, or learn to play an instrument. I am a band geek and proud. One thing that is consistent from school to school is that the band is always like a big family. Even if you have never played an instrument before, you can learn. The band people will accept you no matter how weird you are. Or, if you join something like robotics team or something else that interests you, it will be a great opportunity to meet new people with similar interests.

ok. i would suggest this:
1. advil takes at least 30-45 mins for me to work.
2. Drink lots of fluids and get good rest.
3. Before your test, listen to beethoven or mozart (classical music). it helps your concentration.
4. you might also have allergies, which require meds like claritin.

ok. well, if you are already in a relationship (sounds like you are), do things for her that surprise her. randomly bring her flowers to school. bring her brownies. say you love her and you feel privileged to be with her. make it seem like you are the luckiest man in the world.
i mean, most girls like it more than anything if you do cute things that are not what are average. also, if you 2 are watching a movie and she sees a scene for something that the guy does and she says "awwwwww!" then consider doing that.
also, just be walking around one day and turn to her and give her a small kiss on the cheek and say "i love you so much. you mean the world to me :D"

Okay, so i am a year younger than my bf and his/my friends never EVER leave us alnoe about it and my bff (who is in a few classes w/ him) says that when ever sum one says my name, he makes a face and it's not a good one, and i have even seen him make th face, i was standing RIGHT THERE talking to him when my other bff came up and said kiss her. And he made a face that made me want to cry, i called my ex bf and he said that he's either cheating, or just doesn't care about me, or doesn't for real like me and then i had my guy bffs Kris call him (while i was on the line) and he said that he did fro real like me, but he NEVER calls me and NEVER calls me back, i no that he's busy but idk what's going on w/ him. :( i raelly like him, but he killing me from the inside out. ok. I am a guy. Maybe i can give some insight on this issue.
First of all, you seem to be doing all but the obvious- asking him. If you think asking him about this will ruin your relationship, then, no offense, your relationship is already screwed. Just asking him a question like "so how much do you like me" or "do you think we will be together when we are in the future?" or something to that effect.
if you seriously like him, then you need to talk to him about it. My best friend is a girl, and we have a lot of conversations about the tensions of our friendship. We both really care about each other, and know that we can get through anything.
Something else you could do is act hard to get, and not super desperate. If you start avoiding him, he will be like "darn! she is slipping away from me! I must try harder!" OR "oh well. I dont really like her anyways"
and just so you know, you will probably not find your husband in school. maybe you will have 1 serious boyfriend but he will only be practice for the real person of your dreams.

my 11 year old sister needs help for her goodbye party because we are moving. ( i already had mine, it stunk -_-) so she is looking up to me, 14 year old, to help her with her goodbye party.
she has got some stuff but she needs to get more items. She needs fun games, good songs to pump up the party and easy to make decorations. HELP she will kill me (and her) if her party isnt at lest awsome. PLs answer today or tomorrow cuz the party IS tomorrow at about... like 2-7.
FYI she is into rihana unfaithful, shut up, shut up and drive, avril lavegne (sorry i am bad at spelling) songs and stuff like that. The party is like only 5-9 ppl.

ok. well, find out what stuff she is into.
somethings you can do easily would be to print out pictures of the artists she likes, and find some music online and play it at the party.
if you will have food, it sounds like it will only be like snack food. like finger foods and such. if you go to a grocery store you should just let her pick out the food. like pizza bagels and stuff.
and for the games, let her play fun games. i have heard of a game where a girl sits down, then a girl sits down behind her. the one in the back closes her eyes and tries to put makeup on the one in front. i have heard this can be very fun.
if theres guys then they could always play spin the bottle haha. that game is always fun.
truth or dare is a fun game too.
