whats the difference between"hook-up" and "going-out"?

Any form of getting some type of action with another person. A hook up is when you mess around with a person, but arnt together.

Going out is when you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend and are serious about eachother.

Okay, are there ANY ways to have eyeliners and mascaras not smudge? I've tried waterproof everything but at the end of the day I end up with dark rings under my eyes form the make up!

I use MAC make-up and that works wonders.

hi. i liked this boy for a long time so one day i told him that i liked him. to my surprise, he liked me back. but one day my friend sent me a conversation saying tat i was just a temporary girlfriend..tat he'd dump me wen he got a real girl-friend. i feel devestated. i'm gonna dump him soon but i can't bear it. i love him sooo much. i really dunno what to do...how do i get over him? please don't say boyfriend becuase i'm not ready for another one right now. please someone help me out! i just need someone to talk to...someone to give me advice. thankx a lot.

okay, im 16 and in gr. 12, in the last 8 months 4 relationships have messed up for me, one being huge and is still killing me inside, but i just need to meet new girls, there's lots at my school but i dont wanna just go up to them and start talking cuz i dont want them thinking im sum desperate creep, and the girls ive been meeting lately are at the 18 and under socials i go to, but how can i meet them in school?

I think that its sexy when a guy walks up to me, it shows that they are brave.

There is this guy in my English class. I'm new at the school and I'm really shy so I only have a few friends so far. The guy likes someone else but I have a huge crush on him already. I just wanna be friends with him but don't know what to say and I don't want to look wierd to him because I'm new and all and he doesn't know me exactly.... Okay, So I'm basically your average girl fourteen and what not, and its really scare I know to meet new people especially for schoool. & I had a friend JUST like you. & ALL you have to do is find a great time to introduce yourself and you know find out what you guys have in common and kinda bounce ideas offa that.

my boyfriend has the same name as my dad, jerry, and it's kind of weird to use his name since it's also my dad's name.. so i was wondering if there was any nicknames for 'jerry' that i could use? i dont like using terms like 'hon, dear, sweetie', etc... something close to his name will be great :) thanks

What about calling him Jay? Like the letter J?
