I am currently filling out university applications. For extra-curricular activities I am required to fill in a portion about sports. If I played volleyball during one of my high school years, do I select "varsity" as my position? Is the team necessarily varsity? My other options include captain (which I was not), member, etc. Which should I select? I am from Canada and applying to a Canadian university, it is not often that the term varsity is used here. Such teams compete against the principal athletic teams at other colleges/universities, or in the case of secondary schools, against other secondary schools.

please help! i connected my nikon d60 to my computer but the autoplay doesn't show up. as in, nothing shows up -- my computer won't detect it. i also tried connecting my camera to my mom's computer and it doesn't detect it either. i've already tried going to 'my computers' and searching for the device but it's not there. yes, i also made sure the camera was turned on while connecting it. my computer can detect my sony camera but not my nikon. i find it so weird because my mom's computer could detect it before but now neither of our computers could. any help? If you have the software installation disc that came with it, try installing that.
If that doesn't work try going to the manufacture`s website and finding the latest device drivers.

How do you delete stuff from your browser? Like say I have a myspace on my browser. Is there anyway to delete your history of ever being on there? Thanks. (link)

what browser are you using? If you using internet explorrer,go to tools,delete browsing history,delete history.

How do I make downloads from the internet faster on a slow internet connection. My internet says it's highspeed but it's still slow. I think it's quick. (link)

You probly have a slower computer. If this is not the case, use a different internet browser.
your computer comes preloaded with IE(Internet Explorer) which is slow and has many security holes. I would suggest switching to Firefox or google chrome.

I re-stalled my Sims 1 games yesterday (Sims, livin it up, house party, vacation, pets and superstar). I didn't have any trouble installing them or playing them.
I used to have loads of downloads for sims 1 and never had any trouble downloading things...until yesterday.
When I download something and open it with winrar as i did before and do with sims 2, the file is shown as an "Amiga Audio File" and a "cool edit" symbol. (This has happend wth every website i've downloaded from, www.aroundthesims.com was my favourite and never failed before now.)
Also, when I go to Maxis/The Sims There are no data folders or anything, just an icon to go to www.sims.com. I made my own download folder just in that bit, but my items wont show up in the game.
Can someone please help me, i really used to enjoy sims 1 and found the objects (especially all the cool downloaded objects) and game play more exciting and enjoyable than sims 2.

are you sure youre in the right folder? if so go to control panelfolder options and uncheck the following:
1:hide hidden folders 2:hide system folders that could harm my computer if deleted(not exactly called that but similar)
Your second problem is easy, you must have installed a new program and windows links the files. its not bothersome accept visually.

I am living in a unit with a guy who is a complete idiot and recently have noticed that web pages i was previously surfing have been restricted..
Not just that though, but programs like bitcomet have become completly restricted and lots and lots of other web pages/sites.
This is really pissing me off as I pay for the internet and he thinks he has the right to restrict someone elses connection/s
Can anyone tell me how I can check if I am restriced or blocked with Any programs he might have.. And or Ideas or ways that I might be able to access sites that are restricted?
A simple solution is dis-connecting his net completly.. but that is only temp.. till he plugs it in again.. Advice PLEASE!!

all of your first questions cannot be answerd for the following reason: you didn`t metion what size your gettting.
theres 4 gb,8gb,16gb,40gb,80gb etc...
it depends on your model and memory size.
as for the cost.....
if you use a p2p downloader such as limewire then it will not cost you anything.
For videos I download them staight from youtube using the kyote soft flv converter.

I was wondering if I could change the settings somewhere so in the system tray(I think it's called that..the place where it shows the time on your computer :P) it just shows the time, and you have to press the arrow to show everything in the system tray.
Atm it shows my virus program, internet, wifi, and other stuff, but I just want the time there.

If you right click the program, there might be an option for system tray preferances. Some programs do not offer this option however, best of luck.

you must rip the dvd and then convert it to the mp4 format. google "ipod video converter" you should find what your lokking for.

I need a DVD decoder so that I can watch DVD's on my computer. I have a DVD drive, when I put it in nothing happens. I put it in the CD drive, it comes up, i go to play it and it says you do not have a compatible DVD decoder. I went to download.com to get one but i don't even know where to start. I would prefer a free download, but i will be willing to invest like 10-15 if I have to. If that's unrealistic then let me know. Thank you. (link)

Your problem is simple. A DVD will not work in a cd drive.
The reason nothing happens when you place it in your DVD drive is because it is an incompatible type(most likely dvd-R).
If this is not your case, I would check DVD copy world. www.dvdcopyworld.com

i keep accidently touchign it and then it stretches out then it hides all the minimized programs and it's so annoying! i remember i didn't used to have it on my old computer. it's so annoying & i dont even use it i don't know what the point of having it is. (link)

so for the past 2 weeks ive been eating completly healthy. all fruits, veggies, protein only. anyways this weekend i wanted to have a bad weekend since it was thanksgiving. i ate so much food at thanksgiving and when i got home i felt like i just needed more?! so when i got home i ate 4 of my moms home made brownies even after i had tons of food and deserts at our thanksgiving dinner! i just indulged completly! the next day, well tonight anyways, i went out to lunch and out to dinner with my friends and afterwards just about an hour ago i was watching movies eating candybars and chips all night!!!
am i going to be a fat cow tomorrow morning from all of thiss?? am i going to gain any weight??

You wont gain or lose weight suddenly, you WILL gain weight if you continue however.
If you notice any changes, its beacause your weight increases and decreases a small amount(about 1 pound) every day due to changes in your body.
