I got a new boyfriend but I'm not sure if my parents will approve. he is so nice but he has got tattoo's and piercings. my parents will judge him immediately and not let me be with him, even though he has got a steady job, he treats me amazingly and i love him loads. he is two years older than me and waited until i was 16 just so that it was a legal relationship too. i love him but what do i do if they won't let me see him again??!! My bf (now husband going on 26 years) wasn't liked at first by my parents because he had an earring (back in the 80's it was very unusual for a guy to have an earring)and longish hair. My dad actually forbade me from seeing him but I disobeyed him because I knew if he got to know him he'd love him like I did. Sure enough, both my parents fell in love with him rather quickly after he came over to the house more often. So give your parents the benefit of the doubt. Hang out around your house so your parents can get to know him. Which at 16, you should any way.

I'm not gonna say our ages but me & my boyfriend have been dating for 6 months & today he fingered me but through my pants, I'm a virgin.. I was wearing leggings so it was a quite thin layer of ''pants''. I don't think you broke your hymen. I think it was from friction because your pants were still on. You can get some medication over the counter for itching/burning and use it to help heal your vulva (the outer part of your vagina). Don't put it in your vagina though. I'm a 14 year old girl and my parents are very over-protective and they practically control my life. (My Mum especially) I don't hate them, I just wish they would let me do what I want to do. I don't want to do drugs or smoke or have sex or anything, I'm a good girl, I just don't want to be singled out by society. I know people say 'be yourself' and 'don't be afraid to be different' but at school I just want to blend in and get through the week.
My friends would all go out to the movies or go shopping but I can never go because that's too grown up for me. I can't decide on anything to decorate my room so it ends up being furnished for a 5 year old. I can't wear 'provocative' or 'suggestive' clothing which means a long sleeved rash shirt and knee length board shorts when I go swimming. I can't wear dresses above the knees or strapless dresses. No short-shorts and no hanging out with people my parents don't know.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. I don't know what to do to change the situation without upsetting my parents. (link)

have you talked to your parents about how you feel? Maybe show them what you want to decorate your room in so they can see what you're talking about.
I also agree that your parents are really only trying to protect you. At your age, you shouldn't be wearing short-short or short dresses. Really at any age you shouldn't. but that's just my opinion.
Also, showing that you are growing up will help, like doing chores without being asked.

use light colored shadows (like taupe or tan) and there is clear mascara you can use as well. Don't use eyeliner. Use clear or light pink lip gloss. Good luck!

seems like you may need some sex education. Go to the library and check out some books. If you can't take them home because your parents won't like it, just stay at the library and read them. Or talk to a teacher or other adult you trust to teach you about reproduction. Good luck.
