is it possible for a guy to like a girl that is shy..? I'm always sort of quiet.. and it's not like I'm not outgoing sometimes but I'm not loud and I usually keep to myself because everyone in my school is against my opinions and I get shot down anyway.. and there's a guy I like and I'm not sure if he feels the same because.. he's always hanging around me, sometimes I'll look up and see him glance at me.. *sigh* just need some direction..

Yes. It is possible for guys to like shy girls. I mean, there's shy guys out there too, hon. Anyway, some guys like quiet girls more. Not every guy wants a girl who doesn't shut up. Go and talk to the dude when you feel comfortable enough to. Sounds like he's just as shy as you are, and you both aren't getting anywhere by avoiding each other.

i've been using this 3step acne thing called proactiv. i'm sure most of you know what it is, theres alot of infomercials on tv about it. anyway, i've been using it for about 2 weeks now and it dries up my face alot and it makes my face sting or feel numb and makes it extremely red. does anybody know how i can get rid of this? because i dunlike my newfound redness on the face. please help! thanks in advance

It seems like the product is too strong for your skin. You may want to go back to the doctor that gave you the prescription and make sure that it is okay to continue to use. Your skin may be too sensitive for the product.

my stomach is about 31 inches. im 13 and around 5'5". is that normal? is it too fat?! i feel fat =\, am i over-exaggerating? could i manage to lose a few inches, or gain a few? thanx

I find it very rude that someone would refer to a 31 inch stomach as "fat." I believe that size is completely normal, if not on the slender side. There is no reason to be worried. If you feel you need to lose any weight, PLEASE make sure that you do it in a healthy way. If you want to gain weight, hey, more power to you. Either way, no matter what you do, be happy with who you are. Don't let your how you feel about your weight effect your hapiness.

my dog has severe nervous agression he has never been hit he lives with a female dog my self and my son he has never gone to bite me but growelled you go to stroke him he cowers and wees i cannot touch his feet he screams he has slightly bite other pple but not badly he does not like other dogs he gets on with our other dog but occasionally they disagree they are both neutered he is the most loving and attentive dog ive seen towards myself he sleeps at my feet follows me everywhi dont know what to do ere crys when i leave the room

Sounds like your dog may have some serious problems that are beyond something you alone can fix. It may take someone such as a professional Animal Trainer to fix whatever problems the dog has. You may want to see a vet first, however. It sounds like it may be a medical problem making him cranky. Did you recently get him? If so, he could be scared of his surroundings and is acting in the only way he knows how to cope with the way he is feeling. Some dogs act in an agressive manner if they feel scared or confused. Anyhow, make sure that you see a vet soon, if you haven't already done so.

Ok i always have a tough time talking to guyz i like.. i always get so shy and locked up... and the thing is i get all shaky and nervas. It's so emaressing! I no they probably feel the same way but it seems so hard... what should i do?

Well... See, it is completely natural to feel that way. Especially as a young girl (assuming you are a young female.) I felt the same way, as I am sure all people do when talking to someone of the opposite sex. My advice to you, and the thing that helped me was that I got a best friend that just happened to be a guy. It made it easier to understand guys, which made it easier to talk to them. You may want to try to make small talk with a guy that you really like. As you get more comfortable with speaking to them, talk a little more, and more. At first, have no intentions of becoming their girlfriend, just worry about becoming their friend. Just remember, their is no reason to be nervous, and that they are most likely as nervous around you as you are around them.

My dog is a sweet Fullblooded boxer. The problem is she wont stop bitting my feet and when I walk she pulls on my pants. She is about 7 mounths, WHAT SHOULD I DO

Don't laugh or give her a treat. She thinks this is a reward, or game for her actions. Ignore what she is doing and continue to walk as if nothing is happening. If she continues, FIRMLY, not playfully, tell her "NO!" or say "OUCH!" loudly to catch her attention. This way she'll understand that what she is doing is wrong. Don't kick your foot back and forth, which is usually the reaction people make. She'll think it's a game. Make sure that she has plenty of toys. This could possibly be an act of teething. Like her way of saying, "Hey, mom! My mouth hurts. I need something to chew on. At the moment your feet are looking pretty good to chew on." If these things don't work, see a vet and ask what else can be done.

My dog has REALLY bad dandruff(sp?) and i do not know what to do. Is this normal? Ive tried brushing him but theres just so much! Does anyone know of any good products?

Try using oatmeal shampoo on the dog. It's only about four dollars at places like walmart and seems to work great. Give the dog a bath about every 2 weeks or so, and make sure the soap is completely rinsed out. (if you leave any soap in, it irritates their skin, and they continue to scratch.)After the dog is mostly dry, get a plastic fine toothed comb (as you would use on a human) and brush them out with it. (combs get closer to the skin than pet brushes do.)and yes, it is normal. It seem it is especially common in Doberman breeds. If the dog doesn't have a good high quality dog food, you may want to switch to a better food. Also, if you put about 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in the dry dog food, it makes their skin and coat appear healthier, and mimimizes the flakes. Give the results about a week to take effect. If these things do not work, please seek a vet for other suggestions.

(15/f) My neighbors music is so loud I hear it on the opposite side of my house from the side that he lives on. I don't want to go to his house, and my parents are home so I can't blast ours that would def. be louder. He is around 40 something? Any ideas?

Personally, I like the Ham thing. Haha! Good one, younggrandma. Anyway, you probley should confront him about it WITH a parent. He's 40, he should be mature enough to carry out the request to turn the music down. Maybe he doesn't realize that it's that loud?

I've started using a gothic appearence. (I dressed in black a lot and use dark black make-up on my eyes and either brown or red lipstick.) Nobody even understand why I'm doing it. I'm sort of doing it as an expirement. (Sorry if I spelled that wrong.)It freaks out my teachers, classmates call me a vampire, my boyfriend acts scared of me, and my parents don't like anything about my new look. All I've changed is how I look. I don't want to lose my friends just for the sake of looking gothic. But, if they can't accept how I want to look, are they real friends? What should I do? Advice please!

You have to expect people to act a little different towards you. You changed, even if it is just how you look, and it may take people awhile to adjust to the new change. Everything will be the same way as it was soon, just don't get lost in the "goth" look and change who you truely are. When you lose who you truely are on the inside, you lose your true friends in the process.

My friend just got a boyfriend awhile back. He's a really sweet guy, but he always flirts with me & my other friend. At a dance last night he kept touching me! I told my friend that he's bad news but she didn't think much of it. I know she deserves so much better than him. What should I do?

Your friend really should listen and believe you. I mean, that's what friends are for, right? to be there for each other... Make sure you tell the guy that you don't like being touched, and make it clear to your friend that you have no intentions of "taking her boyfriend." No matter what, don't ever let a guy get in the way of a friendship. Make sure you tell her that you feel she deserves better. It will make you feel better. Even if she doesn't listen to it at the moment, she'll remember that you said that to her, and later thank you for "opening her eyes" to the situation.
