My close friend is getting married. I'm one of the bridesmaids. And she got all the bridesmaids the same dress without us even going with her to try it on. Granted, I WILL wear whatever she buys me, only there's one problem:
It's REALLY sexy and over the top. I guess I have to deal with that. BUT the store didn't have a size small, also known as a size 2. They only had size 6 of the dresses and up. So she got 5 of size 6 dresses for all of us and apparently they fit all the other bridesmaids well but me.
The dress is almost completely backless and you can almost see my butt. Given that I am a size 2 and the dress is a size 6, it hangs down my back and body not very nicely. It's about $200 I beleive. And she bought it anyways though because she thought that we could somehow have to altered to fit me, but her budget is tight and everywhere we went the tailors' estimate to fix the dress were about the same price as the dress itself because it's made out of satin and its actually very hard to fix it without making it noticeable (also because she first gave it to one of her other friends to fix it that couldn't sew at all who tried to take apart the straps, re-sew it the wrong way, and made it worse. Which somehow all the tailors were angry about thinking that we should have went to them in the first place so i guess thats why the estimate is even more).
Seriusly I don't think it's fixable. I want her to have the best day ever. But as a bridesmaid and being beside her for the whole day, I don't want the horrible looking dress to reflect that.
Would it be weird if I ask her if I can find another dress of the same colour and material, but different style to wear?
Also i haven't been to a wedding since i was 10 so I'm wondering if worse comes to it and I am wearing it, do all of the bridesmaids wear the same thing in the night time too?
Well if your parents will not let you wear the dress then you should not wear it. I think you should talk it over with the bride i am sure you can find some thing that suites your body and is not immodest ether. Just ask the bride if you can get a different dress only the same color and fabric as the other bridesmaids dresses . It should not be to hard to do.if you get the same fabric and color and as close to the other girls style dress {but more modest} it should work pretty well.

I live in a three bedroom house with four people. I know its not that bad and I know there are people who deal with worse, but you don't know my family. I have ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVACY! I'm fourteen and I share a tiny room with my nine year old sister. Just our beds take up about 85% of the room so yeah its mega small. I really want my own room 'cause I've shared all my life. My mom and my brother (who isn't home like 90% of the time) have the other two rooms. Now, I feel that with my being fourteen and the changer going on in and around me, I should have my own room. I have no real privacy. If I'm in the bathroom and my mom wants something out of there she will PICK THE LOCK! I mean really, she says that the only place we deserve privacy is the bathroom, so yeah way to contradict yourself mom. She also blames any argument I have with my sister on me. So yeah if she's taking my stuff its somehow my fault. She also laughs when my brother calls me fat and then says I should get a corset as if that'll make me feel

im sorry for what your going threw. i had the teasing from my brothers i had 5 of them doing it. heres some advice ignore them the only reason they do it is to get you reaction it like feeding them when you give them a reaction. so instead of getting upset just laugh with them it will soon not be funny to them and they will stop making fun of and as for your mom A MOTHER SHOULD NEVER do that you need to tell her,tell her when she laughs at you it hurts a lot because a mother should be the last one laughing at you tell her your serious a mother should never do that and she may do it not knowing that you care. you need to learn to ignore and laugh with them or walk away and give away no emotion and to confront your mother on what shes doing by laughing at you. i hate to see people at that age get torn down and have no selfconfidents its not right. so keep your head up they will stop and you will get threw this. but dont tell your brother that you hate it that he teases you he will do it more. but your mom, someone needs to tell her and that some one is you . and having your own room well it may be tough but it will make you appreciate it when you get your own room you just need to think about how nice it is to have a room to sleep in. i know i sound like im being mean but its true a lot of kids dont have a home, so be glad for what you get.tell your mom about not having privacy im sure she will work some thing out she probably donset even see that it bothers you. make the best of life dont be sad about this room and teasing. just keep living get out more and you will be fine .

I have a lot of clothes, shoes, hair stuff, and belongings..but how do you narrow down what to bring to college? I dont even get a closet only wardrobe drawers, how do i make everything fit? What should i/should i not bring?

well i think you wont bring most of your dresses because but bring some, you cant hang them up if you just have a wardrobe drawers, so pack like you would a sleep over only bringing more. sit down and think even the smallest things can take up a lot of room. think what do i not really need like you dont need 15 pairs of shoes you need like 5-8 depends the person but you dont really need more then that unless its flip flops they dont take up much room. bring enough clothes to last you about 2 weeks or a little less 1 and half should due because you normally do laundry by then bring not a bunch of stuff pack liter and when you get to your room you can better evaluate how much you can fit in your room maybe you should check out your room and see what you can fit then you can start to get rid of stuff you will see as not need and that with be the first step
P.S. do this with a friend/family member, they can sometimes tell you what you dont need ,some times you will think you need some thing but they will know that you wont need it they are a big help.

you cant ask some one to not tell you to not commit suicide. because even if we may not know you,i believe that no one in there right mind would tell you how to commit suicide. please when you hit a bump in the rode sit down and think positive and remember that you will make it threw this.like i said to some one else there are dark spots in life were you feel completely lost BUT there always comes a lite that leads you out of the dark. it will just make you stronger. i hope that you will be able to take your life and look at the positive sides of it.because no matter what age its never to late to do what ever you want and make the life that you dreamed of. im not saying there wont be bumps in the rode. but that you will learn to get over them and go on to create your dreams.

I have to clean my bunny's cage but I have been gone for a few weeks and my friend never cleaned like I told him to. I started to clean it but a second later some of it spilled on the ground and the smell was SO horrible that I got nauseus. Its just sitting in my living room right now and we will have people over soon. The smell is creeping into my room right now! How can I resist sucha horrible smell? My stomach has been off all day and this made it SO much worse! Thank You.

i used to have a bunny and i had the cage smell so bad some times. what you need to do is get rubber gloves and a mask they have ones that are disposable and you need a shovel and you need a trash can you should be able to just put the crap from the cage to the trash can it will take a lot of scrapping and you have to wash down with soap 2 times once you have all of the wood chips/litter out of the cage and you should be good. wear too masks if you have to. it will work i had to try this when my rabbit died in its cage and i had to pull all of the litter and RABBIT out its not fun but it gets the job done

I have this big issue with my dear family,they're a mess,they are really untidy and messy,they definitely don't like to clean the house up nor do they like to put things away or cook dinner,I have to do everything,my parents are separated and my mum spends half-day working so we are supposed to help her with the household chores,but I'm the only one who actually does something,I have a 22year old sister,she just doesn't care about it,and makes fun of me bc I like the house to be cleaned or dinner to be served so my mum can eat when she's home,I also have this other brother,18,what can I say about him?I'm wordless,please,any help?thanks:)(I love them,but they drive me crazy)

i have had the same thing happen to me. i am glad that you clean the house for them because it would kill them later having to clean up such a big mess. but you need to sit down with your parents and sense your brother and sister are over 18 i think its time they help to. you cant do it all so ask your parents to assign them a room or 2 to make sure its clean if they dont clean it they get punished if they dont go be the rules and say they wont help with keeping up the house then they can move out and trash there own place. basically rules need to be lade and and your parents may not see that your doing it all tell them you cant do it alone and ask if they will make the others help and if they dont help a good way to get them to help is to make them pay money. they learn fast thats what my parents did .im sorry you had to do this alone for so long but its time that your parents realize whats going on and put a stop to it.sit down with them and im sure you will come to an agreement

I'm a 17 year old senior in high school. I have been with this girl for a year, about 4 months younger than me. First when I met her I wasn't really intersted but after talking to her a little I found out that she was the girl I had always dreamed about. Funny , charming, caring and pretty. I asked her out and everything went well until she broke up with me because of loosing her feeling for me. On her first break up attempt I couldn't control myself and ended up begging her to stay with me. That made us last one more week but I finally accepted it on her second attempt.
After that for a few days I started ignoring her, havin a terrible time getting over her. And that ended by her calling me and telling me how she regretted it and missed me. well we talked again for a little and got back together after a week or so. I was the happiest person ever until now, that I feel like we are inches away from separating. I feel like she likes this other guy and is just trying to get rid of me.
I would break up with any other girl, looking back to my other relationships when I trully did not have feelings for ex gfs, but I am awfully attached to this girl and even thinking of seprating from her makes me shake, sweat, and get naucuis. In fact I havnt been able to eat anything for the past week.
I really need help on the ways to deal with the stress I'm gonna facing and I'm going to be facing. I know I sound like a little girl, but i have really tried. she was my first love and I love her so much that if I was older I would marry her. please someone tell me what they would do in my shoes, if you weren't under such emotional distress.

first i want to say im sorry for what your going threw but life likes to throw these type situations at,you have to deal with them the best you can.second i believe because this is your first love you are becoming to emotionally attached you think that your first love would be the one you spend the rest of your life with. well im sorry but some times it dosent happen that way i think you need to ask your family/friends about what your going threw and they can normally give good advice as well. but i think its time you did break up with this girl clearly she dosent like you anymore she is moving on and shes not being very nice about it. you need to break up but make sure you have some one that can be there and help you get threw this and help you heal. it will take time but you will learn that in the long run she wasnt right for you and you need to start over with girls but not on tell you no that you are over your past girl if your not over her it will hurt you to be witha nother girl and then you will make a mess out of the 2nd relationship which will hurt you and the 2nd girl. so you need to break up with this girl you need to heal and get over her. this may sound mean but it will do you good cause right now shes just toying with your emotions and its not good for you or her.

First off, let me just say that I got the actual computer last summer *previous one crashed) and my computer monitor is from about 2008.
For the past month or so, every once in awhile my computer screen would be blank on start-up or would freeze before I could attempt to type my password. Usually I could fi this by restarting once or twice.
Just now, I've been fighting with my desktop for about an hour to start up. I press the power button, it beeps a couple times, and it stays at a black screen. In the bottom right corner is briefly shows the number 98 and then it changes to B4 and the B4 stays there. Nothing else. I've been trying to repeatedly press F8 to start Safe Mode but I'm not having any luck.
Does anybody know what the issue could be? Do I maybe just need a new computer moitor or is my computer istelf the issue? I ran a virus scan on it a few days ago and it said their weren't any viruses.

if you have no viruses then some thing could of happened to your monitor,like if you put a magnet to close to the monitored it will fry your monitor. your computer pretty new so you would of had to spill something on it or you got a bad computer {if it wasn't new} there are a lot of things that could of happened. so my number one advice is get some one to check it out. they can tell you some times with in an hour what want wrong. some times it takes a day its a give or take, but they can help you figure it out way faster.

Yes you can decorate your dorm. i believe if you just leave the boring room how it was when you moved in when your done then you should be fine.but some colleges are different but you should be able to decorate the room.

im 26 years old and i have tryed taken my life a few time and never been good at it.
