i really want to be an actress or a model, but i dont know where to start. i've tried for my school play but they cast solely on seniority. my parents wont get me an agent, but i really want to get auditions. does anyone know a good place that i could find open call auditions? and how else can i get more into the buisness?

In order to start acting you need to get headshots which are about 200 dollars plus 100 for printing them. Getting an agent doesnt cost ANY money, when they get you working, they take about 10% of what you make, and that is the ONLY time you will pay them. You could join your schools drama club and then hopefully your parents will see what an amazing actor you are and then let you get into the buisness =DD haha thats what i did =DD

im not sure about a show you could do, but most schools have a showchoir or a choir that you could join. Eventually when your a seinor in high school, if they like you, you could be offered a scholarship.

I have to perform a dramatic monolouge. I have never done it before although I'm ready to take on the challenge. Please give me tips to stay calm. I sing at my church, so I am use to a big crowd. PLEASE HELP ASAP!! (link)

When i have to perform a monologue, i just take deep breaths before i go on. All you have to do is pratcice so many times till you have it right. When your on stage, just think like your doing it in your room like nobody is watching you. Just put youtself in the position of the scene your acting out and that will help you feel it more.

Hey. Well there's this old Disney Channel movie that's called I think "The Beverly Hillbillys" and it's about a woman who leads a group of young girls (1 including I think her daughter) in girl scouts through like obstacles for a competition against another girl scout group who cheat and are kiniving (well, alteast their leader). well I really love that movie so if anyone could tell me if they know what I'm talking about and if they have the movie available in like Block Buster or Target or whatever that would be great and I would really appreciate it. If he trys and makes a move on you go with it. If your not ready to make out or do anything and you KNOW he will then tell him before the movie so its not awkward when he trys to make a move on you. Just be yourself. Dont do anything you dont want to do. Have fun!!!
