ok so is there anyway that i can get birth control pills without anyone in my family knowing? i really want to get them but i know nothing about it so i have a few questions:
1. how long do you need to take them before having sex?
2. what are the side effects of them?
3. i just need a way of getting them with my parents completely not knowing?

they tell you to take them for 2 weeks before having unprotected sex, but really you only have to wait a week, they give you the extra week for extra precautions. some side effects include; nausea, tender breasts, and gaining of weight(not as often)

Well,i am on birth control,which i take everyday obviously and i havent forgotten a day.
I have taken it a few hours later than my set time on some occasions,but i DID take it before the day was over.[i usually take mine at 8:30 pm]
Lately ive been feeling nauscious and have had head aches and waking up in the middle of the night from night sweats and you get the picture..
I do have unprotected sex frequently ,so what are the chances that im pregnant or am i just experiencing a little sickness or virus?
if you had sex within 7 days of missing your pill, it is very likely. if you miss a pill you're suppose to use a back up method for 7 days. im not sure what a missed pill is considered, its like 12 or 24 hours. but then again, when i was on my first month and i was close to my period i was scared, but it turned out i was just sick, good luckk.

i heard some people saying that birth control pill starts to take its full effect after 7 days, but one of my friend told me whose mom is a nurse said that it takes a full month for it to take its effect. Do you know when exactly does it start to take its full effect?
okay well im on ortho tryclen lo, when i went to planned parenthood they told me to wait 2 weeks. but on their website and the pills website it said only 7 days. i had sex on the 11th day, and i was kind of worried. so i has my bf call and he asked how long and she said that it takes 2 weeks, and he asked why the websites said only 7. she explained to him that they like to give their patients an extra week for extra precaution, and that i was perfectly fine. and i was fine. i got my period on the the tuesday of my green pills.

Hey guys
I went to planned parenthood the other day and they told me i should be taking my pills for about a week until they work. Does this mean it's okay to be taking the pills for 2 weeks (or a little more) and to have sex? I won't get pregnant right? well of course with birth control theres always a risk but i mean, the pills will be working by then right?

well i just started that same pill too.(ortho tryclen lo.. right?) i had sex on the 11th day of my pack, i thought it was alright because the website and the paper that came with the actual pills said 7 days, but i called and they said wait 14 days. im still confused. so im just waiting for my period to come, but then again i didnt have the guy go inside me (he pulled out. so if they said 7 days go ahead, it obviously must be safe otherwise they wouldnt be telling you thatt. hope i helped :]

I have not had my period for about 2 months now...and i have had un protected sex twice which ya i know is really dumb... if i am seeing spotting does that mean that i am not pregnant??
you can get spotting while pregnant, get tested asap

okay so im 15/f and my boyfriend is 18. we started dating about a week ago. well hes older than me hes just a lot more experianced than me. we make out all the time and hes really like "fast" with it but its been fine with me. but i let him finger me last night and it was the first time someone has. well he was really fast and when it started to hurt i told him to slow down and he would just whisper to me that "ill be fine and he knows what hes doing" and he kept going just as fast. so i finally told him to just stop and he didnt and so i closed my legs and he just pushed them back and held me there until he was done.. im kind of scared now cause we've talked about having sex but im scared he'll hurt me a lot more and i dont really know what to do cause i dont want to break up with him but it really scared me when he was basically holding my legs apart when i was telling him to stop. what should i do?
first of all, being with an 18 year old really isnt a good idea, there's kids your age, but anyway, get rid of him, he should respect your boundaries. and if started to finger you and already talked about sex after just a week, he could just be using you. dont rush into anything you'll regret. so think about it before you do anything more.
