16/f, my friend, 16/m and I used to be best friends. Then we just stopped talking for awhile, now we're trying to mend our friendship and get back to our bestfriend status. He has come over the past two nights, which is what he used to do when we were best friends. What are some things we could do, I always feel like he gets bored and won't want to come over one day? watch movies,play games,talk, (since your 16 your prolly thinking games wtf??well you need lil bit of fun in life too,if you were thinkin wtf.) yea im confusing ok back on subject go out and maybe do something like go bowling or go play golf... If you or him have a pool go swimming when it gets warmer, or if one of you two have a b-ball thing play b-ball.

I've asked this question before but let me clarify it up a little bit more [I was typing it at school and lunch was almost over soo...]
So I've been bff's with [let's call him Chris] Chris since last year, which is a long time for both of us since we never have kept best friends for so long. But anywhos, I'm good at giving advice [=P] and being serious when I need to [along with being good at keeping secrets and my mouth shut]. The thing is that Chris and I joke around a LOT and we just talk about nonsense things like a made up flododo [It's a flamango and a fish of some sort mixed together]. And so I have this frivolous/clumsy personality around Chris.
Well, I've talked about a serious stuff [He and I were going through a major crisis] two or three times last year and it was about it. I just found out that he talks about serious stuff with 2 of my other friends [whom I dislike much] and I'm kind of jealous that he'd talk to them about serious stuff while he doesn't to me. Like for English class, he wrote about me for a journal entry and said "My bff is very talkative and is clumbsy a lot [skip parts] She's unique and fun to be around and I guess I'm drawn to her because we share so many common interests" -- But I think that's all he sees me as--not someone he can go to for a talk. [And yes, that was a sweet thing for him to write because he's not a people person at all and he's apathetic most of the time]
But I don't know how I can show him that I'm a serious person [since he's in a random/frivolous mood around me] without mentioning it straight out. The only thing I can talk seriously to him about is about my family and that's about it. I'm not ready to tell him that I'm bi [although, including him, half my friends are homosexual or bisexual] or get into any my serious problems. [I'm not ready to tel anyone about those anyway] But anywhos, getting back to the question: How can I show him or what can I tell him to let him open up to me about serious things without straightout telling him "I want you to tell me about serious stuff" or something along those lines

I think you should tell your freind that you called "Chris", you might want to tell him straight up, if you'll arent joking around, and the mood gets a little serious try to bring it up and let him know how you feel.
Or just straight up tell him. I know how hard it can be when you and a friend always joke around but sometimes you want to be serious, try to just slip it up in a conversation maybe...
