i met all of my best friend's homegirls n homeboys, and they were pretty cool. the homegirls kept telling me i was quiet, n the guys said that too. usually, with my friends, i'm really talkative, but for some reason, with them im really shy. what are some things i can talk about with them? like what can i say to them? how do i start a conversation n keep one going? its so weird cos i feel so awkward with them. ive never really thought about this as anything weird until recently. im 15/f and i dont have any friends my own age. ive always liked hanging out with older people, but im scared im going to start getting a bad reputation. i hardly ever hang out with anyone thats still in high school (even though im going to be a junior) and ive never dated a guy that wasnt at least 18 (oldest being 22) im not a whore, im actually a virgin. is there anything wrong with this?? or am i just freaking out? my best friendhas had a boyfriend for 6 months now and in the beginning he was the best one she had found. then he started to become really comfortable with me being around like jess and i could be talking and he would walk up and grab her boob and start making out with her. he used to have so much respect for me being her best friend which i loved but he is a jerk to me and everyone except for her. when we go to the movies which is like every weekend she pays for him because he says he is "poor" and if we go to ice cream or dinner or something like that she pays for him. he came to a movie late last time and i had jess's phone and he texted her if she bought his ticket yet and it gets me mad because he isnt treating anyone like he should. he makes the rudest comments to me and my friends and i cant stand him. not to mention all he wants to do is get down her shirt and pants, but he has minipulated her to the point where he can say anything and do anything and she wont notice.im scared she will do something she will regret or we will lose our close bond like i feel is happening now. i dont want to see her get hurt is he finds smoeone else or something like that. she is just in love with him but no one knows why. jess and i have been fighting so much since i told her i dont like him and all i have to do is say one negative thing and she gives me the dirtiest look so i really cant talk to her about it and if i was to talk to her bf he wouldnt listen at all! and what i hate the most is that if they are together she forgets im there and is so wrapped up with him and its to all her other friends to not just me. she told her best guy friend that she couldnt text anymore and yet last night right in front of him she was texting her boyfriend all night. what should i do i really cant stand him and i really dont want to break our friendship. My best friend's parents are best friends with mine. We've known each other forever. So it's basically like her house is my second home, & her parents take care of me a lot, etc. She has a pool, so we're there a ton in the summer. It's not really a big deal, but lately her sister's been like, "why are you always here? why can't you go to her house sometimes?" But this is mostly when her boyfriend is over. He can't stand me I guess, cause whenever it's me & my best friend together & he's there they yell at us & leave sometimes. It's really annoying because we like, ask them to go swimming with us or something & they snap. I try to be nice & like offer to pay for them if they take us to taco bell or something but they're so crabby whenever I'm there. Normally I'd just have her come over here, but it's so boring because we have like no movies, no pool, no one to drive us anywhere.. so in the summer we like to go to her house.
My nature is just, to be funny & loud & obnoxious. I know this, but I can't help it. I'm 15 but I can be really immature with my best friend.. we just like having a lot of fun.
What should I do to get her sister & boyfriend to stop being so mean to us & not even giving us a chance.. because it's only when her boyfriend is there. & I don't know what else to do. (link)
