My guy friend, who used to be my BEST friend, and I are barely even friends anymore. He basically lead me on, then ditched me for 2 months, no reasons why, etc, and I did talk to him about, all he could do was say, "I don't know why we're not as good of friends anymore."
Today, he came over. Mind you, we haven't hung out, and rarely talked since the middle of January. All he tells me is that he'd like to make our friendship become better, like it was before all this awkardness happens. I said okay, we can work on it. Problem is, I don't know if I can become better friends with him again. I'm very hurt right now, because he led me on, and I still sort of like him. Getting closer to him could hurt me. No clue what to do, any ideas?
Walking down the stairs could hurt you to. If we always worried about EVERYTHING that could hurt us, we would sit in a straight jacket in a quarantined room.
My point being, is sometimes you have to take chances. MAYBE you will get hurt by this boy. MAYBE you will trip and break your ankle in two minutes. The world is full of MAYBES but things only happen when people aren't afraid to take the fall.

OK, a lot of poeple it seems base their friendship on how long they've known eachother. Like, some of my friends are like, "I know you like me more than her because you've known me longer." WHAT? WHERE THE HECK DID THAT COME FROM? AM I THE ONLY PERSON THAT'S NOTICING THIS? When ever someone says this around me, I'm not sure what to say, because I don't know if that's how I SHOULD base my friendships. I personally base my relationships on if their nice or something? What SHOULD I be basing my friendships on? Please help!
This brings to mind a quote I've heard.
"It's not about who you've known longest, it's about who's never left your side". You should be basing your friendships on YOU and your friend. Friendish is give and take. A friend that takes too much leaves the other relationship member unhappy. A friend who gives to much, leaves themselves unhappy.

last night i was with my friend. my best friend. i mean me and her are like really tight.. anyway, she has a boyfriend and we met some guys the night before and they invited us to the movies. so we went and last night her and this one guy are like making out. you know its making out, so whatever. but then he started feeling on her and then they got to third base! she hardly even knows this guy.. and i guess im kind of jealous. but hardly. i mean the guy was pretty hot.. and i wouldnt mind being with him but i wouldnt let him finger me! i mean she has a boyfriend!! and like it kind of makes her seem like a whore.. but me and her boyfriend are pretty good friends and i know if i had a boyfriend and he cheated on me i would've been pissed. now shes gonna break up with him and i'm pretty sure he really likes her. now we're best friends but idk what to do.. i'm not gonna tell her boyfriend because he's gonna tell everyone and people are gonna be calling her a whore and it'll just turn up into this whole mess.. what do i do? i wouldn't do anything. this is not your place to interfere. what your best friend does are her choices and she should also deal with the consequences. although you may feel like you should do something, i do not think you should, because as you said, this could very well turn into a mess, and you could lose both of your good friends. this will all straighten out in time if you just leave it alone

you should definately approach them, and ask them what's going on, its better to have no friends then a million friends that secretly hate you, but theres a special someone for everyone, find someone that u could see yourself with in any situation
