Emily. 17. Midwest region--yes, there's a crapload of corn, woohoo. Jet Favre--overrated. I am what some people would say sarcastic, whatever. Think what you want of me, I'm not going to change for you, that's not how I am.

What is a real friend?
How do you know you if you're friend is real or not? (link)

First, I believe that there really is no set definition to what a friend is--it's basically all up to you to set your own standards on what a friend is. But to know who your "real friends" are is (I think) kind of simple. You just need to know if they are true to you in front of your face and behind your back. They need to be trustworthy, so that you can tell them anything and not have to worry about your secrets getting out. They will most likely make you feel better/happy whenever they are around you, or they will know how to comfort you when you are bumming. Real friends pretty much know everything about you, and still love you for who you are. They don't care about what kind of clothes you wear or how your hair looks or if mommy and daddy are rich. Real friends care about what's on the inside, not the outside.
