My best friend just found out she has a brain tumor its only 1% cancerous so thats a good thing but I dont know what to tell her I dont want to cry in front of her because Im afraid that will make it worse and I dont want to brush it off and act like I dont care either. Please help me.
Oh my goodness! Thats like way not cool. Im soo sorry. But look, you really need to let your friend know that you're there for her if she needs you & I'll bet she's scared even if she doesnt admit it. She may need to talk to you & just talk with her about it because maybe she wants to talk about it & if she doesnt, she'll tell you she doesnt. But I really hope she gets better, but just talk with her about it.

I'm going christmas shopping for all of my friends tommorow. I know what to get all of my close friends that are girls, but I really don't know what to get my best guy friend. It's actually kind of sad because I've known him for almost 5 years, but I am seriously clueless on what to get him. Get him some like really smelly good stuff. Guys do in fact like to smell good! And there's some nice stuff out there that smells good but isnt totally over-priced!
Or a nice shirt from like.. I dunno. I'd go with smelly good.

I have this really annoying neighbour that lives in my appartment complex.
I feel that she is just trying to use me. This is what happened. I ran into her when I went to check my mail. She asked me if I knew anyone who would want her budgie(a bird in a cage). I said I couldnt think of anyone and that she should put an add in the paper. She told me that would be too expensive. Then she asked me if I could give her and her bird a ride to the SPCA. She doesnt have a car. I really didnt want to and told her it would have to be another day. She told me she would try another person who had a car.
Well she just knocked on my door. She said she couldnt get a hold of this other person and needed a ride tomorrow afternoon. I told her I couldnt and that I would be working (which is true). I thought she would leave me alone but then she had the nerve to say, "Well WHEN CAN YOU GIVE ME A RIDE TOMORROW"? AND WHAT TIME DO YOU START WORKING"? I wanted to tell her off but I live in a small building and didnt want people to bad mouth me. So I caved in and now I have to drive her and her stupid bird to the SPCA tomorow at 11. She didnt even offer to give me any gas money!! I don't even like her, she's a nosy old bag and always asks my when I'm going back to finsih my college degree and should move back in with my parents. I also heard on the weather channel that we are getting freezing rain tomorrow, and it's a bad road up there. Am I overreacting or is this lady just using me?
No.. you are TOTALLY not over-reacting & I have to congradulate you on being so nice. I would have already went off on her.. but yeah. She is just using you. Just tell her the truth & I mean, you said the apartment complex was some what small & the people would bad mouth you, I really wouldnt care. That's THEIR problem, not your's & I dont see any of them offering to be so kinda as to take her & her bird anywhere.

Ok.. 1st problem. Just tell the chick she's gettin on your nerves. But I mean after all, she IS a girl so dont just be like, "Look chick, you're getting on my nerves & I'm really tired of you. It's over." You just can't do that! It's really mean! Say something like, "Baby, I think we need some time apart for a little while." Or sumthin. I'm sure she'll live.
Ok.. 2nd problem. This new chick. Do you really like her or is she just a way of getting your mind off your girlfriend? And if you like the chick just tell her. It's no big thing.

I have this friend and when she is mad she talks behind my back. But she isn't mad seh is like really nice caring and so forth. Well so then recently on sunday seh told another one of her friends that she liked this guy James. Well seh told me she didn't and seh swore to god. And then she told that friend that seh was her best friend but seh told me seh was my best friend. I am soo confused and i am beinning to think that she doesn't trust me. Help!!
Yeah, I got a friend like that. Say something to her about it like, "James is kinda cute!", then she what her reaction is. Tell her some secrets that you wouldn't care if someone else found out about (in case she blabbed) so then she would think you trusted her, so therefore, she trusts you. Hope that helps! O.K. My problem all started when someone was prank calling my house. I then found out it was one of my best friends. I got mad at her twice. Once for doing. Twice for lieing about it. I'm in junior high and it's so hard for me. Then, my closest best friend took up for her. Then, my other close best friend took up for her too. I don't know what to do. I live in Deer Park and I'm illegally going to Laporte Junior High. My close best friend is threatening to kick my butt and I don't know what to do. Well!My friend a while ago started cutting herself, but then she stopped. Today I hit her arm and she said ouch. I knew right away what she did because she gave me this look. Then she laughed about it. I honestly don’t think that it is funny. She is one of my best friends and I don’t need her going off and hurting herself. When she laughs about it, it makes me feel like she doesn’t want me to care or anything. She showed me her arm and it looks pretty bad and shes like ooo its not that bad. I don’t want to tell an adult but she has been pretty depressed latly and I don’t kno anymore if I should continue helping her about it or just give her her own space.
Ok.. I kinda know what your friend is going through! ITS AN EMOTIONAL CRISIS!! You see, cutting her wrists is just her way of dealing with her pain. Talk to her about it and tell her that you are really worried about her and you dont want her to cut herself. Ask her about her problems and help her deal with them if you can. Don't be like.. "Hey (name). We really have to talk. Is there something thats bothering you?" She responds, "No, why?" You say, "BECAUSE YOU ARE AN IDIOT AND YOU'RE CUTTING YOUR WRISTS!!!" Ok.. you see what I mean? You cant like freak out. You have to keep it calm. Like for instance, "Hey (name). Ok, I know that you have a problem and something is bothering you. Listen, if you'd rather not tell me, it's ok. I have this one friend, but she gets really annoying sometimes. She'll talk on and on, and i never get a chance to say anything, and im not the quiet type. She always dominates the conversation, and is always being bossy. Most of my friends think she's annoying too, but i dont want her to have no friends, but also dont want to be her friend out of pitty. what can i do?
Tell her how you feel & if she gets mad about it, then it's her problem. When she sees that nobody likes her for these reasons, maybe she'll come around. If that doesn't work, just tell her to shut the fuck up & be done with it. If you dont like her, then forget about it. Keep on stepping. If I were you I wouldnt lose any sleep over it because it's her problem, not yours.

ok so recently, in the past few months, ive turned into a bit of a bitch. i honestly dont know why. i get annoyed a lot easier. most of the time, i get jealous really easy. like for example, my friend found out that i had a advice column, so he decided he wanted one. well i got really mad because its my "thing" and i wanted it to myself. im selfish and im whiney. i dont know why im starting to be like this. i also started doing drugs, becoming more "sexual", looking at porn, being belemic, and a lot of stuff that i know will ruin my life. i cant stop. im losing all my friends, and ive already lost a lot of them. i just dont know what to do.
Oh sweetheart! I feel ur pain.. this is normal for people our age (you seem like a teenager). Every one just goes through this stage differently. I've been going through the same things just differently. This can be a postive thing or a negative thing. Not to be mean, but you've kinda chose negative. Just try to be more postive about things and drink loads of caffine because that it great stuff to put you in a postive mood!
