O.K. This is sad and I have no idea what to do. My best friend, Haley, wants to kill herself. She's never met her dad and her 200 pound 7 year old brother gets all the attention and her mom's a total slut. She gets books about death and she's writing letters to the devil and God. I don't know what to do about her. She's threatened me that she will kill herself and it scares me that she will. I don't know what to say or think about this. We met last year but got really close. She's two years older than me and I could really use advice on what to tell her. I need help, or my friend does. Please don't be sarcastic about this because I'm scared and you will only make it worse by replying rusely. Anyone who answers nicely, I'll love you forever.

Talk to her as much as possible. Tell her how much she means to you and how special she is. Let her know that even if her family is "different" that she still has friends and relatives who love her. Tell her this "Soinso, if you do this it will ruin me. It will be very selfish, because your mom and brother and dad do love you. I love you, please, just ignore your family, and call me when you're having a bad day". Just keep talking to her and invite her over maybe. Sh'll realize how much you love her.

Spend the whole day together. You could go out for dinner or see a move, or skate, or shop. When you move calle each other and keep in touch. Long distance boyfriends are harder to keep, but if the relationship is worth it, you'll hold on.

you need to tell your parents or his!! You can't keep a secret like that, it'll just cause more stress on you, and him. Tell him if he doesn't stop, you're going to tell his parents. And you should. because if you don't a life could be lost.

im 14/female. i used to have this really good friend. we could talk about anything. he was like my big brother. well lately (in the past few months) we've grown apart so much. we can't talk to each other about anything and i get mad at him over little things. i don't know why our relationship is changing so much. i miss how things used to be. any ideas why things are happening like this? any advice on what i should do? Yeah, I know. When girls and guys get older they want different things. It won't be as easy. Did you try talking to him? Maybe say, "Hey, we are growing apart. But I'd like to stay friends. Can we still hang out sometimes?" Something like that. But alaso remember this guy will have different problems he may not be able to talk to you, a girl, about. And you may not want to tell him some of your girl troubles. Focus on your girl buddies. Hang out with them too.
