one of my bestfriends just called me to tell me that like one of my bestesteset friends house is on fire..she knew this because her dad is a firefighter..no one knows where my friend is and im startin to freak out..we're doing the paper together and im hoping shes ok.would it be nosey to drive over there?

I just moved to a new school and I'm finding it really hard to make some friends (i'm in 9th). and it just gets really lonley on the weekends because I don't like do anything. And my friends from my old school, I don't talk to them anymore. I don't know if there is any advice you can give me (besides that whole join a sport because I am doing a sport in the spring) and join a club because I am already in some and they arent very helpful with meeting people. Just try to get yourself noticed. I mean don't do anything stupid, like if you are really loud then just be yourself. But if you really quiet then just try to go up to someone and start talking. I know it will be hard but just try, it never hurts to try.

i'm in middle school and we have the popular cheerleaders. Everyone tells me how thin and beautiful i am. And the popular girls aren't that pretty, but all the boys love them. I'm not a cheerleader but i think i'm just as good as those girls. why don't the boys notice me? (link)

It's probably cuz their little brains only focus on cheerleaders, and think that the only way that they can get noticed is if they talk or date a cheerleader. But don't let that bug u cuz if u do then sum of the guys that do notice u might think that all u want to be is popular.

15/f god sometimes i hate myself. im really outgoing when im around my best friends and the people i've known my whole life. but when i meet new people i act all weird. tonight we had a football game and my new friend invited me to hang out with her friends. so when i first met them i was all cool and outgoing, but then we sat on the bleachers and i didnt say a word and they talked. the whole night i just sat there. cause i had nothing to say except random stuf. and everytime i talked they were like shocked to hear me actually say something. i seriously wanted to run away and die. now im afraid theyre gonna think im boring. i dont know what to do......... Well all i can say is that, it's a normal reaction cuz that happens to me all the time. But once u get to kno them a little more then u start to loosen up, I think that the reason that ppl do that is becuz they don't kno wat the new ppl that they r meeting expect from them. So when u actually say sumthin they think to themselves "wow I didn't kno that they were like that or act that way" But don't be embaressed to say sumthin, cuz u r the way u r, and that is the coolest thing u can do is to just be urself and act the way u always do. Doesn't matta if ur crzy, wild, quiet, shy just be urself.

Try to talkin to them when ur all together if u can, and tell them how u r feelin, if that doesn't work then just lose em cuz if they were ur real friends then they wouldn't just drop u like that.

Hi im a 15/f. i love my friend to pieces but i *cannot stand* her family. her mom is constantly putting food in front of me and i feel weird telling her i'm full cuz everyone else is eating still and sometimes they give me weird looks. and after being over her house a while i get a really bad stomach ache. and her little brother is really cute but he hangs all over me and it gets so annoying. she just thinks hes cute. this website is like my last resort lol im so fed up with going over her house. her parents are strict too so its not like she goes over my house a lot either :-/ please help me!! okay heres my story! me n my friend went to the beach together n i took her there for her birthday! and we met this guy who we both thought was hott there..i talked to him first cause she was too scared! and he is realli intrested in me and i'm into him too! but i don't wanna hurt my friend! and i feel bad now cause i told her i would take her to the mall when me n him went but i didn't..we went last night but she doesn't know we went cause i know shes gonna get mad! i don't know what to do cause i realli like him! and i've had rough relationships in the past and he feels right for me! and i don't think talkin is gonna do much good with her feelings so instead of talkin to her what else can i do?! i feel kinda bad..but i realli truely like hiM! he's a sweetie!

If u really like the guy then u should tell ur friend straight up.I kno this might seem mean to say but, if she was really ur tru friend she would want anything to make u happy and she wouldn't get so mad. So tell her how u feel about the guy and u would also want the best for her.
