I have a very severe panic attack and anxiety disorder. I'm very bubbly and social when I'm comfortable, but most times my disorders make me nervous and its hard for me to associate with new people. I have a few very good friends but I really want to make more friends. I already take medication but I don't know how to socialize because I get so nervous and end up being shy. Please help me. Does anyone know what I can do? (link)
The first step, the absolutely most important step is to love yourself. Find out what's good about you, embrace the bad. Accept your inner and outer self. It's harder said then done, I know. But, once you respect yourself, people will respect you.

So, be comfortable. Be yourself. And go out there and have fun

My Friend has a boyfriend called Callum.
They were best friends before hand :)
But out of the blue his dad died 2 weeks ago.

She doesn't know how to be there for him.
I've told her she just needs to be there for when he is ready to talk about and not push him to far. I told her he isn't going to be himself for a while so always take it into consideration if he not in the mood to hang out or whatever,

but I really want to help her.
Because everytime something bad goes wrong in a relationship for her and she gives up. This is a very hard thing for her to deal with. She's not at all emotional - What advice can I give her to look after her boyfriend? What should she do to make sure he's ok? (link)
There isn't really anything she can do besides tell him she's there for him. Death is a very difficult subject to discuss and is never to be pushed. If that person feels he needs to talk about it, he will. Tell her not to give up, and to stay strong. He may push her away.. but he doesn't mean it. It's hard to decipher some emotions from others. If she stays by his side, but still gives him space when needed, she'll have no problems.

As for you, you're a good friend looking out for her like that. Good luck, hun.

I recently moved to NYC. I have only one friend here, and it's become shaky.. as explained in another question of mine.

I need friends.. I need people to talk to. I need people to hang out with and laugh and have fun with. I don't have any friends here. I'm totally new.

I've never been super sociable before, and I've never really known much about clubbing and going to bars and parties. I don't go to college just yet, and I only recently got a job.

How can I go out and make friends? I want to be around people with similar interests as myself (my job is totally unrelated to my interests), and if I'm lucky enough... find something romantic. I want to meet people, and have a social life.

What should I do? (link)
It would probably help if you were to join some volunteer work to help people. There you could meet people who have similar interests and eventually work on becomeing friends. Another thing that you could do is simply start a conversation with your coworkers if you notice something that you have in common such as a dislike of a boss. Eventually you'll have a few friends.

My name is Rayelle I'm 13 and in the 8th grade. This is my story. My best friend has gone out with this guy, Dylan, about 10 times and it only lasts about a week or two, but this time she was going out with him and she started to like this other guy Jon and told Jon that she would go out with him, so basically she cheated on Dylan 4 about 3 days and then dumped Dylan. I was going out with Cody at the time, and the next day there was a football game at the HS and I met up with Cody, and Mak (my other friend). Dylan was there and Tucker too. At the game I hung out with Dylan. We talked and stuff about Alivia and everything that happened. After the game was over I walked with Tucker and Dylan to Dylan's house. When we got there we hung outside for a while then Tucker left and Dylan and me just sat and talked and really made a connection and stuff. When I had to go home Dylan walked me to main street and then said "we should go out, because im really lonely." I was almost in shock. I said "ok, I was going to dump Cody anyway, he's a perv." and I gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek and walked home to dump Cody. When I got home Alivia called me and I ended up telling her that I was going out with Dylan. She was pissed! "But you dumped him", I said. She’s like "But I talked to Dylan and stuff and I really like him still." All I was thinking at the time was, OMG! Shut up! Get over it, it’s your fault you dumped him. Dylan and I only went out for 2 weeks and then he dumped me and I asked him why he did and he said he didn’t know (LIE!). The same night he asked out Alivia again and of course she said yes to get back at me. They have been going out for a week now, but Dylan has told 3 ppl that he doesn't like Alivia really anymore and I think he likes me! And I really really like Dylan still and want him back. What do I do? What do I say? (link)
Apparently he's really co-dependant. I've delt with almost the same kind of guy. All I can say is, move on from him, because he just wants someone, not you in particular. And since him and your friend can't last very long, it shows that he doesn't want to be with the same person very long. And this also goes with the, you want what you can't have. Him seeing you as unavailable got him interested, and also because he was single, and needed someone to cling to. So, moving on and finding someone else would probably make him interested again. But, you don't need him to make you happy. :] You seem like a smart girl who can go without someone like him. ;D
