I've got this friend...and everytime i do something wrong i feel like she wants to kill me. We always get into arguments over every little thing, and every time she argues like we're going to end the friendship. Any ideas on how to make it stop or what to tell her? (link)

first i'd say try to understand what she's feeling and what she's going through
then talk to her.. tell her there's something wrong and you want to help
most likly she's not wanting to end the friendship--she's just not happy and not getting what she wants or needs

When my friends and I are in a group and talking, it's easier for me to make a conversation and i'm comfortable talking to everyone. When I'm one on one with a person, it's very uncomfortable and I don't know what to talk about so there will be this awkward silence. Why is this happening? What can I do? (All girls by the way..) I have no boy-friends..How do I make them? I'm incredibly shy and soo insecure! (link)

ok well i think you need to get over your insecurity.. there's nothing to be afraid of.. people can suck but they're not as bad as it seems and you're never gonna have a boyfriend or a friend until you do something about it and you make the stand.. sorry if i sound harsh but that's just what you gotta do

ok my best friend jayla thinks she's pretty and acts like she the prettiest one in the world. I don't like the way she acts. Her personality I don't like. She be calling other girls ugly at one minute and then the next minute, she sees her givng someone eles candy, she(jayla)holds her hand out, and expects that girl to give her candy. Now I don't know if I should be her best friend and I don't know if I shoudl even be her friend at all. She sometimes be calling me and my friends ugly, and I hate that!!! I sometimes feel like saying something mean back. But any thing that comes out of my mouth that is mean, it sometimes goes too far over the limit. she think I forgot all the things she be syaing but I don't!! and she also don't be having my back. If I were to get in a fight, then she wuold just watch. But my other friend Cornita promises she will have my back, and she do. I like Cornita alot, not like that, but as a Best best friend forever and always. Jayla, she used to be a good best friend to me now she isn't. (link)

maybe the best thing you CAN do is stop being friends with her. for right now i think that's what she needs.. she needs a wake up call. if your her best friend and she treats you like that then obviously she's not a very good friend.. give her a month.. even just a couple weeks and i'm sure you'll see a big change in her because she'll realize what she's doing isn't getting her friends and she won't be happy without them

I was friends with this girl named Tina for a whole grade before we grew apart. REcently, her mother died from cancer, and whenever I saw her after that she acted like she was fine, so I always made sure to act cheery and bright around her, and to pretend as though it never happened. My other friends all tell me I'm heartless and pretending like it never happened to her is just going to make it worse. What do I do? (link)

I don't really understand it, but whenever I meet a guy for the first time now, I always feel like I'm crushing on him. My heart will start beating fast, my stomach will flip, and I'll turn bright red around them. I have some guy friends, but they only became my guy friends when they excluded me from something or got girlfriends themselves. I don't know why I like everyone...Any ideas? (link)

i do the same exact thing.. whenever i'm around a guy i always feel like i like him like that.. i think it's just me longing to have a boyfriend. be carful what you do because if you tell him you like him too quick then he might get scared and you won't have a chance at even a friendship.. just let things move slow and see how it goes.. it's really hard when you fall that hard that fast and then find out you don't have a chance so try your best not to get too excited before anything is really said.

My friend Harmony is always telling me that I need to let God into my life and look to him as a source of comfort. I believe that God exists, but I have doubts about whether he really cares or not. I feel like she trying to force me to believe like she does. I respect the fact that she is strong in her faith, but I don't neccesarily want to talk about it with her. She gets really offended when I say something that she doesn't think is right. When I told her that I didn't want her to tell me to go to God for guidance, she got angry and told me that at least she knew that she couldn't be open with me anymore. Am I wrong for asking her to not talk about this? How to I tell her that I would rather not talk about God without offending her? (link)

there's nothing wrong with what u did.. everyone finds God at their own time.. i was close to not believing at all for a while and then i went to work at a christian camp and seeing all those people there and how happy and kind they were made me start to believe.. there would be days i didn't think i could make it through and i just started to pray and i automatically started to feel better.. everyone finds God at their own time and it's ok if u haven't.. like i said i just found him recently.. but ur friend needs to understand that.. explain to her that it's wonderful that she has such faith but it may take u a while to be able to believe as much as her..if she doesn't understand then that is just her problem and she's not being a very good friend.. hope i helped

I am, going out with this guy, and in JUly (that time i was nbot going out with him), so anyway i was calling him names, becuse he lied to my friend (Rachel*), so in Augest the guy asked me out and i said yes so Emily, called Rachel and said that I was going out with that guy and she called me a slut. What should I do should i be her friend or no?

to me this sounds like some silly quarrel.. i'm sure ur friend didn't mean it.. you should sit down and talk to her and tell her it hurt you and tell her that it's ok she's mad at you just you don't like her calling u names.. talk to her about it and tell her u don't want to lose the friendship over some guy but you don't want to break up with him cuz you care about him.. hope i helped
