it helps if you aren't known for being the shy person. If you are getting ready to start a new school or even a new grade, then you might be able to do it easier. You can just let loose and have fun. Im not saying go do crazy stupid things, im just saying that you should do something spontaneous. I do that all the time and I feel that i have a wonderful social life. People know me for being outgoing and spunky. You just need to forget about what peopole might think of you and have fun. You are only young once. Live it up. :D

i have this friend and all she does is copy me. like i'll make up words and quotes and hang out with certain people and she's always a step behind me. my friend and i who are also friends with her wanted to go to this concert and now she's suddenly obsessed with it! i can't stand her most of the time and telling her how i feel won't work cause she's one of those 'i can't do anything wrong & it's all about me people' even if she doesn't realize it. ALSO i've liked this boy for awwhile and i was thinking about breaking up with my boyfriend for him, and she started going out with him a week later when she KNEW i liked him and she didn't like him, which i know because i asked her. ANYONE GOOD ADVICE PLEASEEEEEE! (link)

They say that when someone copys you that is shows a great deal of respect and admiration. She obvioulsly admires you and looks up to you as a role model. You shouldn't be mad that she wants to copy your style or your likes and dislikes, it is clearly a compliment showing that she strives to be like you. The only think wrong is that I understand that it can be very annoying having a little shadow running around. She shouldn't have hooked up with the boy that you liked but after all you do have a boyfriend. It may be harsh...but it is true.
