I was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion on a very good straitener and if so where can u get it? My hair is dirty blond, very thick, notty, and wavy.

Hey there! One of the best by far is a Chi. It's pretty expensive though, but totally worth it. Another good one is any straightener in Hot Tools. Usually those are about $35. Hope I helped!

ok well im a white female and i was thinking about getting my hair relaxed. my hair a a little wavy but not that bad its just some what thick if i dont straighten it. i was wondering 1 if anyone would or wouldnt recoment it and 2 wat to expect like how straight it would be/stay and wat i would have to do to get it straight. the lady at the hair salon told me my hair should be permanently straight

Hey! I got that done a while ago too. Hair relaxing stays for about a few months. Its about $50 (but may increase depending upon your hair length) and it takes about 1-2 hours. Hair relaxing is extremely bad for your hair. It is meant for hair of african americans. There is a different kind of straightening perm called a Japanese straightener. It costs A LOT more (about $500-$1000) and may take about 4 hours. It is worth it though because it stays for about a year or even more. If you do decide to get a hair relaxer, make SURE you don't get it wet for about 48 hours and also make sure the hair products you use won't damage or mess up your hair/perm. Hope I helped!

Hey haha, well first I wash my face with this speacil face brush, and I put just any face wash on it (I use apricot scrub by the way), then put in my contacts (they're hazel-green-brown-ish? haha), then I put on my BARE make up (foundation), I use a big brush called a Kabuki, and then I use a make up sponge, then I use a small brush called a concelar brush around the eyes and other small details. Then I use a brush called Maximum coverage, and I put on the "warmth" (which is somewhat like blush, but more natrual) over my cheeks, and the "Mineral veil" (which is like finishing powder) all over my face for a finishing touch. All these things come in a certain package you can order (www.bareminerals.com I can explain everything about it later!). Next, I put on eye shadow. I usually wear a bronze shimmery color (natrual, but still noticable), and if I have a color scheme in my outfit, I add a touch of that color. All of this can change depending upon your eye and skin color though! Then, I curl my eyelashes, and put on 2 coats of black or dark brown massacra, then I put on my eyeliner on the bottom of my eye only. I use black, NYC eyeliner ($0.99, haha no need to buy expensive ones, this is just as good! You can buy it at drugstores or wal-mart or target, or wherever!). After that, I put on my lip-gloss, nothing too crazy, usually a nutral color (unless im wearing like a totally pink outfit), and always adding a bit of clear lipgloss for extra shine! Haha! I have wavy hair that is very thick and very frizzy in humidity. I live in Maine we have pretty humid summers. I am looking into getting a striaght perm in the summer. Does anyone know:
1.) If they have harmful chemicals that are carcinogenic or damage your hair?
2.) If they don't get frizzy even in humidity
3.) How long they last
4.) How much they cost
5.) Anything else about them!

1.) Yes there are harmful chemicals and it damages your hair alot.
2.) If you put the right products in it, then nope!
3.) They last about..4-5 months I guess.
4.) It depends where you get it done really. Mine was about $50..but it depends on how long your hair is too.
5.) It takes a few hours to do..and you have to use certain hair products because some can really damage your hair if you get the perm. All this info I gave you is for a hair relaxer..there is also a japanese permanent straightener thing. It lasts alot longer, doesn't have alot of harmful chemicals, but it takes a long time and it can cost up to $500!

Hey! Aww thanks..haha. Ok the website is bareminerals.com and there are different deals..like you can just buy one foundation for about $20 - $25 or something. What I bought was the deal that gave 2 colors of foundation, 1 warmth ( kinda warms your skin like blush ), 1 mineral veil ( like a finishing touch ), 3 brushes, and a tracel brush and case for about $60 ( about $75 with S&H and tax and stuff ) It also came with a DVD to show you how to put it on! I want to get rid of the hair on my upper lip. I don't want to get it professionally done, I want to do it myself. What should I try to remove it (I don't want to use a razor).

Hey! You can buy a wax kit from a drug store or wal-mart. Also you can bleach it..but that won't remove it...it will just lighten it to make it not as noticable. DO NOT BUY NAIR it damages your hair roots..it's just as bad a shaving it..and it burns and may give you a rash and irritate your skin! I suggest getting it professionally waxed..thats jut me though! Ok hi my name is ashlee and im 13 years old. Anyways I really would like to wear makeup and stuff like that but i have a little acne. Its going away now because I just started using my acne medication right. Bad on my part I know. Wouldnt it look bad if there was like little bumps in the makeup though? Hey! The good make up is usually oil free..also check what you are allergic too and look on the back for theingridiets and see if its there. I personally thing BARE is the best makeup! Its not liquid its like power mineral stuff...it's so light and it doesn't even look like you are wearing make up ( VERY expensive though www.bareminerals.com ). Oh and the bags..the ones everyone are probably fake but look like the real ones..they have stand up in the mall! Hope I helped!

I wouldn't die your hair too much..it damages your hair alot..but you can always buy restoring shampoos and conditioners..anways..what I suggest is maybe getting a FEW light streaks..and if you have long hair a cute style is cutting it about a few inches below your shoulders and getting it layered. Hey! I suggest GOODYS..my favorite store! This store has anything for anyone...you'll find something you like there trust me..and the prices are really cheap I just bought a pair of jeans from there that used to be like $40 and they were just $15! Always a sale...usually atleast 40% off! Haha you can also go to Target..they have alot and it's cheap..Hope I Helped!

My hair is really long..and very very thick..I have trouble straightening it myself..but whenever anyone else straightens it for me it turns out beautiful..Does anyone have any good tips to help me get my hair super straight and look good..and does anyone know any good products to use?

Hey! I know what you mean..its because when other people do it they can see your hair from every angle and see every detail..also you become less patient when you do it yourself! My hair use to be just like that..until I got it thinned..you can do that it helps alot! It costs just as much as getting it cut..and its alot easier to deal with! But if you don't want to do that then before you straighten it..blow dry it straight and use Friz Ease by John Frieda or Biosilk before you dry your hair. After that straighten you hair in little parts..about one or 2 inches thick...and go down the hair very slowly..and keep doin it until that part is straight..then just do it for each part! If you don't already have one of these..buy a Chi or Hot Tools straightener! Hope I helped!

Hey! My hair used to be just like that...I suggest getting it thinned..and it costs just as much as getting your hair cut..it works great and is SO much easier to deal with! But if you dont want to do that then you can blow dry your hair straight and put biosilk or friz ease in it and blow dry it..and then you can straighten it with a flat iron like a chi or hot tools. You can also put gell in it or you can just scrunch it with ALOT of gell! Haha hope I helped!
