I am trying to figure out some cool things to do with my hair before school starts that are really easy and quick since I'm not very talented with hair and DO NOT have very much time to do my hair! I need some ideas about what to do with a low pony. Like how you twist it up and make those cool things. My friend showed me but i forget! And if you have any other suggestions I am definitely open! Some cool hairstyles that take a little longer but are pretty easy I want to know too because sometimes I have more time than others! :D Thanx!!! (link)
I like the messy updo at the moment (not overly messy though!). After you have a shower semi dry it, brush it striaght, get some hair wax/gel and scrunch your hair up til it goes wavy. Then, when it's dry tie it into a low pony or messy bun:

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/20/70657747_16822bbda4.jpg
http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Messy-Bun

Just practise at home before you go back to school. Try doing different things with your hair at the front and back. Just play around with clips and hair bands and everything really, that's what i do!:P

For the times where you have a little longer just do the opposite to what your hair is because it makes it look like you've put the effort in. Like if you have straight hair use curlers, tie it all up and pull down some of the side bits. Or tie it to the side and make a quiff with the front of your hair or make it wavy. If it's naturally curly, straighten it.

Remember thought also have rest days where you just leave it natural because over styled hair gets really dry and brittle, so use good conditioning treatments if you use styling tools a lot!

If you're feeling more daring, put some different colour in it (semi-permanent, not permanent as that ruins your hair!). Just add some subtle colour like if you've got brown hair - add some lighter brown or darker brown, red hair - little blonde bits, blonde hair - lighter blonder or darker blonde. I always do that at the beginning of the summer and winter each year (i'm naturally chocolate brown haired so winter - add caramel and darker strands and in summer - add light brown and little blonde bits. It makes it look multi tonal and a new hair style in itself! Though i thing i'll skip it this winter as i'll be too busy with important exams!:|

Hope that helps, just fiddle around with it that's the best way to go!:)

Ok so some people say that if you put eyeshadow on your eyebrow bone ( below eye brows but above your crease ) then it looks good... but then some people say it looks bad. opinions????

for my eyelashes, when I put mascara on... it looks pretty and everything, but they're too spaced out so you can't see them from far. so how do I get them to clump a little together. Not a lot of clump, just a little so that it's more visible. When I do that with my mascara wand, more mascara gets on it and it just looks really messy. help!!!

for my eyebrows, well the shape is like this (
except face up... lol
and i don't know, it's just really bushy and when I try to tweeze them, they get so messed up and un even...... I hate waxing!!
I asked my mom to help me but she says later and always forgets (also she thinks i'm too young to tweeze my eyebrows... i'm turning 15 in a 3 months) So any advice??

for my hair, I am dying it permanently...but my mom is so insecure and she think's that if I dye my hair at this age, i won't stop dying it and it will fall out eventually.

Also for my hair, it's medium thick (so not totally thick) I straighten it a lot and its naturally straight, but poofy and frizzy. So I'm thnking about getting front layers, to thin it out a little. I need good shampoo and conditioner that helps my hair be healthy, not damaged, not dry, smooth, smelley and shiney.

i'm sorry if this was really long, I just need a make-over before school starts. thank you in advance (link)
Personally, i find eyeshadow a bit harsh looking if you use bright colours in the area you are describing. I used to put it there and now when i look at pictures i cringe haha.. I'd stick to eyelids if i were you unless you just want to use a light shimmer or colour.

For you eyelashes, a different type of mascara might help. I thought this one seems right for you :

Thickening mascara When you want bulk, you do want to buy the mascaras touted as 'thickening.' These products contain a thicker formula of waxes & silicone polymers that coat lashes & make them appear bulkier. The best thickening mascara on the market (according to InStyle magazine's 2006 'Best Beauty Buys' guide) is Christian Dior Diorshow (about $22):

or take a look at :
http://www.carefair.com/Makeup/Types_of_Mascara_188.html

From experience i must say i've found that spending more means A LOT better. I use YSL thickening mascara and i find it amazing for making my lashes stand out, you wear mascara everyday (generally) so it needs to be good:)

For your eyebrows, why don't you save up (if you don't have money) and get them professionally done. Once a professional has waxed/threaded/plucked your eyebrows into a nice shape, it will be easy for you to just pluck the stray hairs away from then after. Doing it yourself from the start can end up with you taking half your eyebrow off!

Hair wise dying and straightening BIG NO NO, after experiencing my hair basically breaking off through dye and everyday straightening was horrible!
If your hair is frizzy i wouldn't recommend dying it as dye tends to make your hair more frizzy. This is more of a problem the lighter dye you go.
That said if you are still wanting to dye it after reading that... I wouldn't recommend straightening anymore. Instead use hair products to tackle the frizz and poofy-ness, there are many leave in conditioners and de-frizzing balms out there you just need to ask your hairdressers. Also you should think about buying a treatment condtioner, you just leave it in for say 10 mintues and it helps strengthen your hair and condition it etc, i use pantene at the moment.
Here's a website that compares the best anti-frizz shampoos:
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/46749/tame_the_frizz_top_5_products_for_your.html

The haircut issue i can't really comment on, except the fact my friend always used to tell me not to get laters toooo short as they stick up in the morning! I'd ask a hairdresser about that, they know best!

Hope that helps a bit

Okay.. now I don't fake bake or anything weird like that, but i like to lay out in my pool to get some color every so often. but when I do this, I always get the nice, golden brown tanned skin that i want- except on my chest. i never get tan in the area under my chin, and above my boobs and stuff.. it's so weird! i usually put alot of tanning lotion on that area so maybe it'll attract the sun more, but nope! it just doesn't work. any ideas? THANKS!! :) (link)
I'd say just put a factor lower on your chest for a while to tan it a bit more. For example if you use factor 10 use 8 there or 6. I've heard people find baby oil works well too, i'm guessing it attracts the sun rays and makes you go brown.

Hope that helps a bit, i've always found lower factors on sun cream to tan quickly, just don't use it all the time as it doesn't protect your skin like the higher ones!

ok, does anyone know anything that will make my hair wavy or how to make it wavy. not curly. WAVY.

?? (link)
When i want wavy hair (i have straight hair), when it's wet i brush it straight so there's no knots then use a mousse that has felxible gel in it and scrunch my hair up and let it dry naturally and don't touch it again, then it stays wavy and not curly.

OR

Hope that helps:)

thank you!

You need to use lots of hair products if you're hairs frizzy so use a straightening balm and a cream that de-frizzes your hair, then follow some tips:

Take a look. i hope they help:)

It's really hot so I've been wearing thinner clothing but you can see the fabric of the bra I'm wearing. Does anyone know of a type or brand of bra that I can wear that is smooth and doesn't look lumpy or anything under my shirt? Thanks a lot. (link)
Victoria's secret do an 'invisible' bra:
http://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/application/prodDisplay/?namespace=productDisplay&origin=onlineProductDisplay.jsp&event=display&prnbr=ZU-201655&cgname=OSKEYBRPZZZ&rfnbr=3353

They have a few other bra too that are more bra like lol:
http://search.victoriassecret.com/?i=1&q=invisible&submit=Search&submit.x=0&submit.y=0&t1=Bras&u1=q&u2=t1

And if you don't mind internet shopping:
http://www.figleaves.com/us/nsf/qwiser.asp?term=invisible%20bra&original=invisible%2520bra&match=exact

Sorry if that wasn't much help, i'm guessing you're from USA (I'm in England) so i don't know all the shops like i do here, hope it helped though:)

For the St. Tropez, there are so many different products. Which spray do you recommend from the list? I'm gonna go with that one since you've actually used it, so its more reliable. (link)
I've personally used the bronzing mist spray and the whipped bronze mousse. They both give you a non orange tan but both myself and my mum found that the mousse gives you less colour and the spray is darker, so really it depends on what you are looking for the lighten or darker colour. I personally prefer the spray and so does my mum:) Advice though..WEAR GLOVES from experience it WILL leave your hands looking dark lol. The small tanning system looks quite good though i haven't used polisher or anything but the st tropez experts say you get the best effect by using them with the spray or mousse. You get 4oz body polisher, 4oz moisturizer and 4oz whipped bronze mousse OR 5oz bronzing mist spray with sponge(you need a sponge if you don't get this anyway) for $42.56 which doesn't seem a bad price!:)

Sorry tell me if you get this i can't seem to be able to reply directly to the question about where you can get it from lol:S

I don't know where you live but i'm guessing from most people on here you're in the USA (I'm in England) so i don't know where to get it from there, BUT on the st tropez website it tells you the shops in the usa you can get it from:)
http://www.sttropeztan.com/vendors/index.html

Are there any sunless tanners out there that actually work and do not turn you orange?! I have very fair skin and even when i go out in the sun, I do not tan. I either burn or just stay the same and when I burn it's red, but turns right back to white.

Please give me a link to ones that work. Price doesn't matter, but please have used them before or have a friend that's used them. Don't just go by commercials.

thanks :) (link)
I use st. tropez which is quite expensive but it's really good on fair skin or dark skin and doesn't give the orange effect. Also i admit i haven't used it but i've heard fake bake it used by celebs and is a lot like st.tropez in colour. About st.tropez though, go for the spray not the daily moisturizer as it works a lot better. (they use st.tropez at salons too)
http://www.sttropeztan.com/
http://www.fakebake.net/
Read about them a bit then decide, sorry that i picked expensive ones but the truth is, the price is worth it:)

I'm really into fashion.. but I cannot put a cute outfit together myself for well, me! I'm not into abercrombie and fitch pricey clothes or brand names across shirts. I have no idea what colors look good on me. I've been told red but I cannot wear red at school.. since I'm usually there.. I don't bother buying it. Help? I'm going to be a junior next year and I want a makeover. Makeup tips, fashion tips, hair cut [?] style?

I can do a makeover for someone else but not myself. I've changed my look so much by myself and it comes out bad. I just want opinions!

Here's me

http://i7.tinypic.com/4zx9fus.jpg
http://i16.tinypic.com/61oeib8.png

I'm kinda small. 5'0-5'1 85 pounds. I'm 16. I have dark brown eyes that I would love to brighten up. Makeup tips/brands? I dyed my hair black to cover up previous dyes, some dark brown [natural color] is peeking through eh. It's also naturally wavy. Any way to wear it pretty and have it out of my face?

I really like the style of Forever 21 and Wet Seal.. I just usually wore black for many years because I thought color looked bad on me. So I'm kinda lost with fashion. It's all cute things that I think won't look good on me. Help please :]
Pictures would be nice and lots of responses too. Any tip would be helpful. (link)
About the blonde thing below...I'd be extremely careful as i notice you have dark eyebrows like me and bright blonde hair can sometimes do you no favours to be honest.. I'd take a look at Vanessa Hudgens style as i'm guessing you have her colouring as for your hair etc. As for colour i wouldn't keep black, i'd dye it closer to your original colour or a bit lighter brown as you are dark eyed etc. Just because your hair is dark doesn't mean you can't be bright looking, you just use the wonders of makeup and clothers for that! If you want to lighten your hair, get some multi toned colour put into it like caramel and dark blonde. As for make-up i wouldn't go too brightly coloured as it can look too drastic, but you can go quite bright or go for more natural bronze sort of colours (as they are in at the moment). http://www.elle.com/ has all the in make-up at the moment and hair etc if you like following fashions. I think you'd suit most the stuff from wet seal so don't worry about colour not suiting you because it will! Topshop (www.topshop.com) have some really nice clothes at the minute that always keep up in style so take a look at them. I have to say though i am from England so the young fashion here may vary a bit to you lol but big prints are in here at them moment, like this (http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=74417&parent_category_rn=42325&productId=391662&langId=-1) which i think would suit you. They also have a petite section which you might find quite handy! (http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=42387&parent_category_rn=42385&langId=-1&top=Y)
Hair i'd keep wavy but keep it more controlled waves
http://beauty.about.com/od/hairbasics/ht/sexywaves.htm
which can be put up into a really nice messy style which still looks like you've put the effort into making it look like that. To keep it out your face i'd tie the front bits back then it will stop the rest going in your face.

Hope that helps abit!!:)

alright well im going into eigth grade and i want a new hairstlye to start school with: i have medium brown hair& its about down to my shoulders: when i straighten it it goes about one and a half maybe two inches past my shoulders: when i dont straighten it its curly/frizzy (and i hate itt!) i almost always straighten it for school: i want a hairstyle that would look good both ways: that way i dont have to take an hour straightening it every morning: any ideas? i would really appreciate some ideas: if you need anymore info on what my hair looks like or whatever IM me at dear kaleighh (AIM)
thanks in advance! (link)
Sorry i haven't got long to type this, but here goes: to start with there are ways you can make your hair less frizzy to give more defined curls etc. (http://www.2hairstyles.com/defrizzhair.shtml).
You could also do loose wavey curls which i think are really pretty(http://beauty.about.com/od/hairbasics/ht/sexywaves.htm), this take a while but if you already have curly hair it's easy!
If you want less hassle straightening it, try using straightening balm for curly hair (http://about.pricegrabber.com/search_attrib.php/page_id=1240/form_keyword=straightening+balm/rd=1/mode=about_beauty/skd=1).
As for natural hairstyles, you could have it chemically straightened if you really hate the frizz etc but it's not great for your hair.. Hairdressers can do loads to help you, the best thing to do is go to a good hair dressers and basically ASK lol...simple i know but they know the best hair styles for practical use etc so ask them and they'll give you lots of advise:)

Hope that helped a bit:)

okay well i just watched the movie "because i said so" with mandy moore in it.i loved mandy moore ( milly )'s hair. i want my ahir to be like that. liek scrunchy curly but without gel and crap. how can i get my hair like that? my hair is thick but when it like air dries it gets poofy and kinda wavy. i reallllly like her hair though, like its not to curly. any ideas? (link)
I had a look at her hair and these were the best websites i could find to show you, hope they help:) :

Hi, No matter what I do, when I remove hair from my bikini area, I get an itchy, rash with razor bumps. I've tried TEND SKIN & BIKINI ZONE & baby powder. Any ideas? (link)
Try waxing? I used to shave there and as i'm quite dark it was hell! and i got bumps and everything. I would say waxing is the best thing, it doesn't hurt as much as people say it does, and the results are so much better than shaving! If it scares you too much though make sure you exfoliate before you shave, cleanse and keep it clean before hand and use a clean new good razor and shaving gel.
Here are some good websites to help you:)

okay so my boyfriend's bday is coming up in a couple of weeks. he recently bought his first polo from aeropostale and he decided he really likes it. so i think i should get him another one from a designer store, such as lacoste or ralph lauren. however, since he is a teenager (16)and wears a small in polos, i dont know if i would be safe getting him one at a store like that since its for men. should i get the same size or maybe go to extra small? thanks (link)
I would say if he's 16..He's probably quite manly built already so i'd say he would be a small in RL or Lacoste unless he's very small built that is. I'm not a big fan of Lacoste so i'm not sure how there sizes range, but Ralph lauren tell you the measurements for their sizes on the website, so if you could find out his measurements somehow then you can tell on the website. Ralph Lauren have some really nice new polos out at the minute for men too!:)
